Stayed 1 night

I was tired after driving fron Kathu and seeing customers all day, so I decided to eat at rhe hotel and chose to have the buffet. Worst decision EVER. They were out of chicken. The beef chuck was so tough it was inedible. The pork had so much fat on it, it too was inedible. When I told them about it, they sent the kady chef to me. I asked her if she knew that chuck for a stew should be pressure cooked. She did know this. But it was not done. I asked if they are buying substandard fatty meat (pork). She told me that they were supposed to cut the fat off before cooking it and did not do so. When in the room, I had to switch off the fridge as it sounded like fishtank. The room also had an old and musty smell. Had to leave the windows open the whole night, which also allowed the noise from other guests in. It is such a shame that a hotel of that stature and history is let go to the dogs. It is most certainly not worth the almost R2,0000 per night that they charge. I will NOT be staying there again. SAD, SAD, SAD!!!!!

Had problems with the aircon system. It was a weakend of 39 degrees days and aircon did not cool the room at all, even after we asked to be moved to another room. They need to make a plan with the aircon system of the rooms.
