Kookaburra cottage is perfect. It was so wonderful not to hear traffic, just the whip birds and nature. The place was spotless, the food hamper a lovely surprise and the hosts very accommodating. We even had another loaf of yummy homemade bread. You won’t regret staying here.

Close to Maleny but away in the bush in amongst the wildlife. Great communication with the hosts too.

Everything about the cottage was perfect, clean, comfortable furnishings best equipped kitchen we have ever come across . Plenty of wood for the fire, beautiful deck overlooking the lake but private. The breakfast hamper was so nice, warm freshly baked bread, fruit local yogurt, shortbread buscuits, cereal, fresh eggs from their own hens. Could not fault anything about this cottage. Perfect romantic getaway to celebrate wedding anniversary thank you we will be back.

Perfect place for a weekend away from it all - great cottage in beautiful setting. Town is only just down the road and plenty of food options if you don't feel like cooking.
