The room was absolutely gorgeous, and as advertised. Be ready to climb a 100 stairs to your room though. We got a room with a jacuzzi, and the bartender would deliver our drinks to us there that was super helpful. The staff overall were exceptional, and welcoming! Please be aware when booking that the patio's and jacuzzi's are not blocked off from the rooms next door, or the people walking up And down the stairs.

My wife and I only stayed 2 days but we wish it was longer. The views are amazing and the food was the best we had since traveling the last 2 weeks. We went to France and Rome and the food here was on another level. We will come back for at least a week next time. There is shopping and cafes nearby. The service was excellent and rooms were so nice. We did a private jacuzzi and it was worth it. They also gave us a departing gift, thank you!

Highly highly recommend this beautiful location! The staff was wonderful, spa amazing and views just unbeatable. We also like the location - close to markets and restaurants and just a quick 10 minute ride to Fira or across the island to the beaches. Also recommend renting an ATV to zip around!

Excellent stay. Would book again. Imerivigli is quieter than two big towns most stay in. Highest point on island (for lodging) and views are great. Service was excellent. Special call out to Georgia who was amazing. Place is spotless. We were upgraded without asking due to hotels.com status (the first time I think this ever happened). Breakfast included was very good. Would book room with outdoor jacuzzi if possible.

A beautiful location with the most amazing views across the caldera. Everything here is organised and run with perfection and discreet efficiency. Every member of staff is charming, helpful and respectful - absolutely nothing is too much trouble. They are there to help and advise whenever you need but are quiet and unintrusive. The hotel is pretty, cleverly designed and spotlessly clean, bed linen and towels changed everyday (towels twice or more!). Breakfast is brought to you on your terrace - lots of choice and all delicious. The swimming pool is lovely and we never had to share it! We stayed in the lovely Caldera suite with the jetted plunge pool which was great fun. Our couples massages were the best I’ve ever had - thank you to our masseurs! Marialena was so helpful, before and during our stay, and willing to assist us with anything - as were all the staff there. I could go on and on! We loved our stay at the Iconic! Notes 1. The steps could be challenging to anyone not too fit! 2. From about 2.30/3 pm there is NO shade on the terrace!

Wow! The view of the caldera and the sea is breathtaking from your own private patio and hot tub. The staff was extremely flexible and very attentive. The room was the best we stayed in our multiple Greece stops. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We would definitely go back and recommend this to our friends and family!

We had the most amazing room with a deck that had 2 lounge beds over looking the sea. Everyone was so nice & accommodating. Our breakfast each morning was excellent! We highly recommend the Icontic Santorini.

Gorgeous hotel! Would highly recommend. We only stayed here for one night as it was a last minute booking, but we wish we could have stayed for longer. - The room was beautifully decorated, very clean and had a very comfortable bed. - Our terrace had a hot tub, table and sun beds which were located down a few steps (we loved this as it was a bit more private) and the view was incredible! Clear, wide and unobstructed views of the caldera. It looked like most of the terraces for the rooms (including ours) were not completely private - as you walk through the property, you can see a lot of the terraces, however the hotel felt very exclusive and quiet, so guests and staff only walked by occasionally. - Service was friendly and efficient. - Breakfast was ample and delicious - you preorder the day before and confirm the time you want to have it. It’s served in the restaurant or to your room for a fee. - The main pool is lovely and a decent size. It’s worth noting that it’s quite deep with no “shallow” end. The very edge of the pool is the most shallow at just below 1.5 meters and then it quickly gets deeper. The only minor issue was the AC unit making a loud clicking noise every so often throughout the night which was not ideal for us as we are sensitive sleepers. However, we loved the hotel and had a wonderful stay. If we ever come to Imerovigli again, we'd definitely stay here!

This property was top notch, excellent service and outstanding facility. The rooms were beautiful and well equipped. We had a room with a plunge pool. All rooms had view of Caldera, table for breakfast and lounge chairs. The staff was extremely attentive. The pool bar/restaurant was small but good food and drinks. We were picked up at the airport and all luggage transferred to our room. There\'s a lot of walking and steps so it was very appreciated. Absolutely beautiful stay. The room would be cleaned and stocked when we left during day and evening. The staff would leave ice, fresh water bottles and chocolates. Very unique "cave" like room with large bathroom and lovely sitting area. All white walls and decorations. Bathroom with all modern amenities. The breakfast everyday overseeing the Caldera was exquisite with fruits, fresh juices, coffee, eggs, waffles. Delicious. There is nothing negative I can say. Went on a trip with my teenage daughter and it was wonderful time. Walked to Fira and evening trip to Oia for sunset dinner. Perfect vacation. Stayed for three days after visiting Athens. Make sure to take the Catamaran trip one day--worth it.

Fantastisk hotell. Vennlige folk som jobber der. Jentene i resepsjonen spesielt( de var to stjerner) informative, og med et stort smil om munnen. Gi disse mer lønn og pass godt på de. De var virkelig bra representanter for hotellet. Renholderene var også veldig hyggelige og grundige! Servitørene kan drilles mer, tror de var mer bartendere eller ferske i gamet( har jobbet 12 år selv i hotell og restaurant) men veldig vennlige. Alle må starte en plass. Men djevelen ligger i detaljene. Rommet vårt var stort og veldig fint. En av de beste sengene vi har sovet i noen gang. Utsikten på hotell er den beste og fineste vi noen gang har opplevd. Bare den er verdt oppholdet. Solsengene var også svært behagelige. Frokosten var veldig god. Området er veldig sentralt. Anbefaler hotellet på det sterkeste.

This hotel was magnificent. The views were incredible, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served every morning on our private patio with stunning views. The room was comfortable and clean. The food was spectacular. Highly recommend this hotel.

It looked like most of the terraces for the rooms (including ours) were not completely private - as you walk through the property, you can see a lot of the terraces, however the hotel felt very exclusive and quiet, so guests and staff only walked by occasionally. - Service was friendly and efficient. - Breakfast was ample and delicious - you preorder the day before and confirm the time you want to have it. It’s served in the restaurant or to your room for a fee. - The main pool is lovely and a decent size. It’s worth noting that it’s quite deep with no “shallow” end. The very edge of the pool is the most shallow at just below 1.5 meters and then it quickly gets deeper. The only minor issue was the AC unit making a loud clicking noise every so often throughout the night which was not ideal for us as we are sensitive sleepers. However, we loved the hotel and had a wonderful stay. If we ever come to Imerovigli again, we'd definitely stay here!

This property was top notch, excellent service and outstanding facility. The rooms were beautiful and well equipped. We had a room with a plunge pool. All rooms had view of Caldera, table for breakfast and lounge chairs. The staff was extremely attentive. The pool bar/restaurant was small but good food and drinks. We were picked up at the airport and all luggage transferred to our room. There\'s a lot of walking and steps so it was very appreciated. Absolutely beautiful stay. The room would be cleaned and stocked when we left during day and evening. The staff would leave ice, fresh water bottles and chocolates. Very unique "cave" like room with large bathroom and lovely sitting area. All white walls and decorations. Bathroom with all modern amenities. The breakfast everyday overseeing the Caldera was exquisite with fruits, fresh juices, coffee, eggs, waffles. Delicious. There is nothing negative I can say. Went on a trip with my teenage daughter and it was wonderful time. Walked to Fira and evening trip to Oia for sunset dinner. Perfect vacation. Stayed for three days after visiting Athens. Make sure to take the Catamaran trip one day--worth it.

Fantastisk hotell. Vennlige folk som jobber der. Jentene i resepsjonen spesielt( de var to stjerner) informative, og med et stort smil om munnen. Gi disse mer lønn og pass godt på de. De var virkelig bra representanter for hotellet. Renholderene var også veldig hyggelige og grundige! Servitørene kan drilles mer, tror de var mer bartendere eller ferske i gamet( har jobbet 12 år selv i hotell og restaurant) men veldig vennlige. Alle må starte en plass. Men djevelen ligger i detaljene. Rommet vårt var stort og veldig fint. En av de beste sengene vi har sovet i noen gang. Utsikten på hotell er den beste og fineste vi noen gang har opplevd. Bare den er verdt oppholdet. Solsengene var også svært behagelige. Frokosten var veldig god. Området er veldig sentralt. Anbefaler hotellet på det sterkeste.

The room was absolutely gorgeous, and as advertised. Be ready to climb a 100 stairs to your room though. We got a room with a jacuzzi, and the bartender would deliver our drinks to us there that was super helpful. The staff overall were exceptional, and welcoming! Please be aware when booking that the patio's and jacuzzi's are not blocked off from the rooms next door, or the people walking up And down the stairs.

This hotel was magnificent. The views were incredible, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served every morning on our private patio with stunning views. The room was comfortable and clean. The food was spectacular. Highly recommend this hotel.

I love this hotel! We had a gorgeous and spacious cave room, hot tub overlooking the caldera, delicious breakfast every morning and the best location…just a short walk down to Fira. The staff was very gracious and the property was immaculate! I highly recommend this hotel to complete the Santorini experience!

Wow! The view of the caldera and the sea is breathtaking from your own private patio and hot tub. The staff was extremely flexible and very attentive. The room was the best we stayed in our multiple Greece stops. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We would definitely go back and recommend this to our friends and family!

We had the most amazing room with a deck that had 2 lounge beds over looking the sea. Everyone was so nice & accommodating. Our breakfast each morning was excellent! We highly recommend the Icontic Santorini.

Amazing views and top rated service, I could not asked for any better hotel to stay in Santorini. I adored the views from our deck, sit there every chance I could, watched sunrise and sunset almost daily during our 6 nights. The room is a bit small but it is Santorini’s most popular location. I husband said he felt like we lived in a cave and that’s the idea to experience Santorini.
Amazing views and top rated service, I could not asked for any better hotel to stay in Santorini. I adored the views from our deck, sit there every chance I could, watched sunrise and sunset almost daily during our 6 nights. The room is a bit small but it is Santorini’s most popular location. I husband said he felt like we lived in a cave and that’s the idea to experience Santorini.

Where do I start. The staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was to much trouble for them. Especially Georgia who's recommendations were fantastic from places to go, trips to go on, to restaurants to eat at. What an amazing place Iconic is. I would highly recommend staying here

This was an incredible property. It is well located and away from the crazy cruise line traffic, but still central to get everywhere. Be warned there are many many steep and uneven steps you need to navigate to get to the hotel, but they are very helpful in carrying your luggage.

Excellent stay. Would book again. Imerivigli is quieter than two big towns most stay in. Highest point on island (for lodging) and views are great. Service was excellent. Special call out to Georgia who was amazing. Place is spotless. We were upgraded without asking due to hotels.com status (the first time I think this ever happened). Breakfast included was very good. Would book room with outdoor jacuzzi if possible.

Staff were amazing and could not do enough for us. Breakfast was excellent and you could sit outside in different places. They recommended great restaurants within easy walking distance (think Vivaldi) and we loved doing the walk to Oia but being there confirmed for us that Imerovigli is the perfect location on the island to stay because you get a quieter city and can still see the sunset from the top. Just seek it out.

I'm not sure what I can add that hasn't already been said. There's a reason this hotel has an almost flawless customer satisfaction score on this website. The property itself is very unique, with gorgeous rooms built right into the side of the volcano. And the views! Just stunning to gaze out onto the caldera, towns, and ocean below. What really sets this place apart, however, was the incredible customer service. Every single member of the team worked very hard to make sure we had a memorable stay, and we couldn't be more appreciative of their efforts! If we're ever back in Santorini, we'd stay here again without a doubt!

There was some confusion at first about the room we had booked, but the staff took great care of us and gave us an upgrade for the night until we were able to get into the exact room we wanted. They were more than accommodating and very friendly, we would definitely stay here again!

Highly highly recommend this beautiful location! The staff was wonderful, spa amazing and views just unbeatable. We also like the location - close to markets and restaurants and just a quick 10 minute ride to Fira or across the island to the beaches. Also recommend renting an ATV to zip around!

Great property. Was nice not being in IA or Fira as they both get quite busy. Close enough to walk to Fira and knocks off a decent amount of time for those planning on doing the hike to IA

Excellent stay with the most stunning view! The stairs will give you a bit of a workout, but that applies to almost all properties. I would definitely recommend the Iconic and stay again - it’s in a good location to walk to many things and get a true feel for Santorini.

This hotel was magnificent. The views were incredible, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was served every morning on our private patio with stunning views. The room was comfortable and clean. The food was spectacular. Highly recommend this hotel.

My wife and I only stayed 2 days but we wish it was longer. The views are amazing and the food was the best we had since traveling the last 2 weeks. We went to France and Rome and the food here was on another level. We will come back for at least a week next time. There is shopping and cafes nearby. The service was excellent and rooms were so nice. We did a private jacuzzi and it was worth it. They also gave us a departing gift, thank you!

A beautiful location with the most amazing views across the caldera. Everything here is organised and run with perfection and discreet efficiency. Every member of staff is charming, helpful and respectful - absolutely nothing is too much trouble. They are there to help and advise whenever you need but are quiet and unintrusive. The hotel is pretty, cleverly designed and spotlessly clean, bed linen and towels changed everyday (towels twice or more!). Breakfast is brought to you on your terrace - lots of choice and all delicious. The swimming pool is lovely and we never had to share it! We stayed in the lovely Caldera suite with the jetted plunge pool which was great fun. Our couples massages were the best I’ve ever had - thank you to our masseurs! Marialena was so helpful, before and during our stay, and willing to assist us with anything - as were all the staff there. I could go on and on! We loved our stay at the Iconic! Notes 1. The steps could be challenging to anyone not too fit! 2. From about 2.30/3 pm there is NO shade on the terrace!

Staff were amazing and could not do enough for us. Breakfast was excellent and you could sit outside in different places. They recommended great restaurants within easy walking distance (think Vivaldi) and we loved doing the walk to Oia but being there confirmed for us that Imerovigli is the perfect location on the island to stay because you get a quieter city and can still see the sunset from the top. Just seek it out.

Gorgeous hotel! Would highly recommend. We only stayed here for one night as it was a last minute booking, but we wish we could have stayed for longer. - The room was beautifully decorated, very clean and had a very comfortable bed. - Our terrace had a hot tub, table and sun beds which were located down a few steps (we loved this as it was a bit more private) and the view was incredible! Clear, wide and unobstructed views of the caldera. It looked like most of the terraces for the rooms (including ours) were not completely private - as you walk through the property, you can see a lot of the terraces, however the hotel felt very exclusive and quiet, so guests and staff only walked by occasionally. - Service was friendly and efficient. - Breakfast was ample and delicious - you preorder the day before and confirm the time you want to have it. It’s served in the restaurant or to your room for a fee. - The main pool is lovely and a decent size. It’s worth noting that it’s quite deep with no “shallow” end. The very edge of the pool is the most shallow at just below 1.5 meters and then it quickly gets deeper. The only minor issue was the AC unit making a loud clicking noise every so often throughout the night which was not ideal for us as we are sensitive sleepers. However, we loved the hotel and had a wonderful stay. If we ever come to Imerovigli again, we'd definitely stay here!

This property was top notch, excellent service and outstanding facility. The rooms were beautiful and well equipped. We had a room with a plunge pool. All rooms had view of Caldera, table for breakfast and lounge chairs. The staff was extremely attentive. The pool bar/restaurant was small but good food and drinks. We were picked up at the airport and all luggage transferred to our room. There\'s a lot of walking and steps so it was very appreciated. Absolutely beautiful stay. The room would be cleaned and stocked when we left during day and evening. The staff would leave ice, fresh water bottles and chocolates. Very unique "cave" like room with large bathroom and lovely sitting area. All white walls and decorations. Bathroom with all modern amenities. The breakfast everyday overseeing the Caldera was exquisite with fruits, fresh juices, coffee, eggs, waffles. Delicious. There is nothing negative I can say. Went on a trip with my teenage daughter and it was wonderful time. Walked to Fira and evening trip to Oia for sunset dinner. Perfect vacation. Stayed for three days after visiting Athens. Make sure to take the Catamaran trip one day--worth it.

Amazing Views! Amazing staff! Amazing location! We had a great four night stay with Iconic. Breakfast was excellent, fresh cooked right in their onsite restaurant. We have nothing but great things to say. The view is like nothing we’ve ever seen and the hotel does everything to highlight it. Fully recommend.

A wonderful stay. Firstly, the location is spectacular (but you must be able to deal with steps) and the thoughtfulness and quality of layout and fixtures and fittings was excellent. The warm and friendly team had such great attention to detail, the daily housekeeping was better than most hotels I have stayed in. All the meals we tasted were delicious and the WhatsApp to reception was a really thoughtful way of working . The service provided and the way requests were dealt with, all contributed to a fantastically luxurious and relaxing holiday.

Great hotel with excellent views. The location is very chill, there is not much to do in the town. You would have to go to Fira or Oia if you want more things to do and see. Other than that, it is a very nice romantic getaway

OMG! If you want to feel like Royalty go stay at the Iconic hotel in Santorini! We had the most wonderful stay. First, let's talk about the view! It's one of the best views I have ever experienced. We got to walk around and the view from the other hotels didn't match up. And the room is beautiful - a REAL cave, not man made! Then the communication through the Expedia app was a plus. They kept us informed and offered services like booking a private driver to take you from the airport or booking activities for you around the island. We decided on a last minute sunset cruise and they were able to find one for us and it was an amazing one. Then you arrive at the hotel and they are welcoming you where the driver leaves you. If you know Santorini, it's all STAIRS and you can get lost so having them carrying our luggage & directing us to the hotel felt so good. Then they give you sparkling wine & inform you about the island, recommending restaurants (that we tried and their recommendations were on point). We thought of using public transportation to go around but they gave us their honest opinion about it and we decided on renting a car that was actually much cheaper for us to go around and getting back to the airport. The private chauffeur was €70 to/from the airport and renting a car was only €55/day allowing to travel all over the island. They had the car delivered to the hotel and the plus is that the company has free parking in Oia. And the breakfast? So good! We'll be back!

Absolutely stunning property. Staff couldn’t be more friendly or helpful. We were welcomed by Sozon who was truly wonderful. The room was immaculate, as was our private pool area. The food in the hotel is exceptional. Highly recommend staying here. We will definitely return in the future.
