Mountain Retreat: Near Mt. Mitchell & Blue Ridge Parkway. AMAZING VIEWS!

This was the perfect place for a four day get away, I wish I could have stayed longer. The views from the condo are incredible. It's also secluded, but not too secluded. A perfect balance for an outdoor vacation. The condo was clean, cozy and has all the appliances and utensils you would expect. It's close to a lot of good hiking and sightseeing as well. It even has a pool that's perfect for kids or a dip after a long hike. Can't say enough about my communication with Chris the owner. He was very responsive and made sure I got settled in. I will definitely be returning and can only image what the views will look like in the fall.

View was spectacular as I opened the front door. House had everything I needed and host was quick to answer messages and provide helpful suggestions. I didn't use any of the community amenities available but they would have been nice. I'll come back here again.

Perfect! The view was amazing!

Quaint chalet. Older property with nice updates. Super clean and host was easy to communicate with. Beds were very comfortable. New mattresses, bedding, and pillows. Firm mattresses. We only stayed one night on our way through town so we didn’t get to take advantage of any of the amenities. Quiet neighborhood. The view is gorgeous. Mt Mitchell is nearby. However, the part of the road that takes you there in 15 minutes was closed so we had to go 2 hours around the mountain to get to the other entrance. Definitely check ahead of time if that is one of your main destinations. Would definitely stay here again.

The stay was amazing! Beautiful place with beautiful views and so close to Mount Mitchell. Wish we could have stayed longer but will definitely come back. Our host, Chris, was on point with everything, from checking in to all the places we can hike, he was so helpful. Great experience overall!
