The room was very clean, spacious and had a small desk, tv console table and nightstands which meant more counter space. The staff were professional, friendly and helpful. I stayed on the third floor (top floor) which had a filtered water fountain right outside of the elevators. This boutique hotel looks recently renovated (>2 years). The lobby is quite small but enough. The hotel itself isn't too large (3 floors only it seems) and feels secure. The front door requires key access after 4:30pm. It's a very short walk to coal harbour (10-15 minutes?) so it's very conveniently located. I liked that there was a water/sparkling water.coffee/tea station on the first floor. I'd stay here again!

The property was nice..Everything was close and walkable..but; going up to the stairs with big luggages to the property was a struggle for us and also going down. We we need to carry a heavy luggages back and forth bcoz they only have stairs and it was very heavy. We went on a cruise and we both have 2 luggages so it was a struggle.

The hotel is under construction. When finished it will be worth the rate charged. It is not yet there. I was not happy about paying premium for a project under construction. A discount during this period should be applied.

Our only issue with this hotel was the lack of an on site restsurant for breakfast and dining. Other than that it was clean, comfortable and stylish, with very helpful and friendly front desk staff.

Lovely stay although the hotel is undergoing construction so be aware that around 7am it gets noisy. I stayed during a work trip so was fine as I was up anyway but if I was on vacation and hoping to sleep in, I would have been disappointed.

They are remodeling so some construction “mess” but not noisy. Beautiful room-very clean and comfortable. Small lobby, few amnesties. Right downtown Vancouver so convenient for getting to places. Parking is in a garage a block away from the hotel. At night you use your keycard to get in the lobby off the street. Haven’t seen staff much.

I booked this hotel because it had EV charging station. Turns out it no longer exists. Had I known that I would’ve went to a different hotel so that my car can get charged while parked. I was not offered any sort of remedies or compensation for this incident which I think I should’ve. Other than that the hotel is great.

I loved the staff. They are all very nice and caring! Love the building. However the parking that the hotel offers is really very inconvenient. It’s very difficult to get in and out. I scratched my rental car while trying to enter it. It’s a really bad structure!

comfy and cute room, no breakfast due to renovations but understandable. they offer 15% at white spot which is nice! parking is close and hotel is central to everything. walked to the skytrain and rogers arena!

I have stayed here a few times and this most recent stay was definitely my worst. There is always a lot of noise with this hotel, however the price and location is worth it that I ignore it. However this stay, there were tiny bugs in the bathroom crawling on the floor and walls. There was construction happening literally directly outside our window that we were not told about, which began at 8:00 AM and almost shook the room. There was loud music being played underneath us, and it was a terrible morning. I really wish the stay was better, because my stay in previous times has been better. Unfortunately I would steer away from this hotel now in the future.

Room was beyond our expecation. Large, quiet, and most of all clean. Bed was made every day even though we didn't really expect it. They also provided bottled water everyday which was a nice surprise. Staff were friendly and provided many recommendations as it was our first visit to Vancouver. Felt increbdily upscale and close to all the major attrations we wanted to see. Would definately recommend for anybody looking to stay downtown.

The property was a great locati9n for walking around and exploring downtown Vancouver. However found the quality of the hotel a bit of a let down. The first thing we noticed is that half the hotel is under construction. Our windows (which we had to open because there is no AC) opened directly into the alley which was loud from 7am onwards due to construction which we were not warned about. The bathroom door did not stay closed and alsays slid open so we had to make a DIY carboard doorstop for it. There were brown poop stains on the wall behind the toilet and splattered on the blinds of the window behind the toilet. Cute idea but wouldnt stay again. Would go to a nicer hotel in the same area.

Hotel is excellent. Had everything that a person would need for a nice stay. Bed was comfortable, room was spotless and nice staff. Will definitely book again. The only negative is no fault of the hotel, but downtown Vancouver is being destroyed by homelessness, drugs and immigration. The Canadian politicians and government should be ashamed of itself.

This hotel is on the "safer" side of Gastown but is way overpriced for what you get. The hotel is being renovated and we couldn't easily locate how to even get in. It didn't help when we got to a vacant storefront/front desk. We kept pushing a button outside for service and waited over 5 minutes for someone to arrive in this touch-and-go neighborhood. The hotel is LOUD with paper thin walls. We used Vancouver as a stopping place coming and going to Whistler and actually cancelled our return trip at this hotel. Probably better to pay a bit more to get a lot better.

Our room was spacious, comfy, modern and just wonderful. Tea and coffee making and complimentary water every day. The best cafe just around the corner and an amazing Italian restaurant next door.and the staff were so helpful and friendly. Altogether a great place to stay. We will be back in three days😂

Very nice bright clean room, great staff! Location was convenient to Gastown and a quick walk to Waterfront Station. Area was a bit seedy at night and the shouting/sirens/etc. went late most nights, but that might not always be the case. No temperature control in room, noise from hallways and other rooms was coming through loud and clear, but that’s probably normal for a heritage building.

Check in was super easy! Very friendly desk attendant! The hotel is really cool with its historical feel and Victorian aesthetic. It was clean and quieter than I expected for being downtown. Bed was very comfy! I very much appreciated the deep bath tub so I could soak after my outdoor, evening event and the cozy robe. Nespresso machine in the room was a nice touch. Location was convenient to downtown and Stanley Park and very easy to catch ride share right out front.

The hotel is newly renovated, clean, and the staff are very friendly.... but don't stay here in the spring or summer - there is no AC. You can open the windows, but it's super noisy outside at night. I also recommend waiting until the constuction happening next door is finished. It was noisy and smelled strongly of chemicals and paint fumes.

The Victoria Hotel is a beautiful boutique hotel on the edge of Gastown. It has been modernised, but retains its historic character. It was a pity that some of the staff on the front desk were not very helpful and did not follow through with requests. We were not the only guests put out by the poor communication of some front desk staff. It seems more training is required.

The staff was wonderful and very accommodating to all requests. We arrived before check in time, but our room was ready within a few minutes of us getting there. They help bring our luggage to our room and stored it for us when we checked out. The room was beautiful and fully upgraded.
The staff was wonderful and very accommodating to all requests. We arrived before check in time, but our room was ready within a few minutes of us getting there. They help bring our luggage to our room and stored it for us when we checked out. The room was beautiful and fully upgraded.

What a great hotel. All the good things about "boutique". The check-in experience was a rarity in this day and age. My flight got me into Vancouver at around 10 in the morning, I went straight to the hotel to drop my bags and head off to a tradeshow, unexpectedly though, the front desk "checked" and my room was available to check in immediately. I could leave my stuff there, go to the bathroom, have a quick coffee and prepare for the rest of the day. Makes an incredible difference when you just got off a 6 hour flight!!! What a contrast to the "chain" hotels that insist on keeping you waiting until 3pm in the afternoon before you can check in. The room was great, the location great, the service great, near to coffee shops, near enough to walk to th convention centre, near to restaurants. This was one of the best hotel experiences I've had, can't fault a single thing. Thanks guys, I'll certainly be back and will tell anyone I know who's going to Vancouver that they should book with you guys. Keep up the GREAT work

Check in was super easy! Very friendly desk attendant! The hotel is really cool with its historical feel and Victorian aesthetic. It was clean and quieter than I expected for being downtown. Bed was very comfy! I very much appreciated the deep bath tub so I could soak after my outdoor, evening event and the cozy robe. Nespresso machine in the room was a nice touch. Location was convenient to downtown and Stanley Park and very easy to catch ride share right out front.

Great stay. Location was walking distance from Gastown and Canada Place with plenty of things to do. Short 10-15 minute drive from Granville island/Stanley Park and maybe 20-30min from Capilano Suspension Bridge. However, unless I didn’t know how to work the AC, we didn’t have heat, but also our fault for not asking. Lastly, parking is $25/day if you have a car, but conveniently in the same place as a market and Starbucks, which was awesome to have a block away.

The location is great! Within a 6 min drive via Uber to the cruise port. It is within walking distance, but we had multiple pieces of luggage and it was just easier to take the Uber...and that was only like $6. Beautiful facility and great customer service!

Very nice bright clean room, great staff! Location was convenient to Gastown and a quick walk to Waterfront Station. Area was a bit seedy at night and the shouting/sirens/etc. went late most nights, but that might not always be the case. No temperature control in room, noise from hallways and other rooms was coming through loud and clear, but that’s probably normal for a heritage building.

The Victorian Hotel is a delightful, clean and well appointed boutique hotel with very professional and hospitable staff. It is also in a very convenient location in downtown Vancouver for transport, eating and shopping. The only downside is the number of homeless people living around the area. They are not threatening but sad to observe. Maybe that is a good thing, in that they cannot be ignored by guests.

Loved the stay, been there often but with the renovations, wow! Friendly service, chat with you about dinner recommendations and make you feel pretty special. Close to the sea and round the corner from jam cafe. Bliss!

Our only issue with this hotel was the lack of an on site restsurant for breakfast and dining. Other than that it was clean, comfortable and stylish, with very helpful and friendly front desk staff.

It was a lovely hotel. It was easy to find after catching the Hullo ferry and walkable. Caught a bus close by to watch a show. Breakfast in the restaurant below hotel in the morning was good and reasonably priced and able to be charged to room. Portable air conditioner in room worked well, but too noisy to run all night and it was a hot night being summer.

Really lovely hotel, our room was modern, clean and comfortable - and the staff were all really friendly and helpful. There are plenty of places for food and drinks within a 10 minute walk (brunch at Nemesis Coffee was worth the queue out the door!) The local area definitely has some social challenges but we never felt remotely unsafe - just something to be aware of.

My daughter and myself enjoyed our stay. The parking was not great, but safe. It needs a casual resturant so guests can get a coffee or breakfast in the morning. Overall the staff was great.

comfy and cute room, no breakfast due to renovations but understandable. they offer 15% at white spot which is nice! parking is close and hotel is central to everything. walked to the skytrain and rogers arena!

Tolles Boutique-Hotel, neu renoviert und gut erreichbar. Obwohl kein Frühstück im Hotel angeboten wird, gibt es Vorschläge für gute Cafes in der Nähe. Personal war immer sehr freundlich, wir können das Hotel wärmstens weiterempfehlen.

My daughters stayed here for a concert at Rogers. Great location. Totally walkable. Shared bathrooms were not a big deal. Staff recommended food truck for the girls that was delicious and affordable.

Look no further- this is the hotel you want to stay at! We have just had our second visit to this little jewel of a hotel. Its boutique, beautifully decorated and maintained, rooms are sparkling clean and the amenities terrific. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is not a negative to staying here. It’s perfect! And the Italian restaurant next door is delicious too. Thankyou team for a lovely visit to your city.

For instance, there were no outlets near the head of bed to plug in phones or computers and there was no ledge or step in the shower to allow for shaving. There was also only one luggage rack and a very small armoire for hanging clothes - not enough room to accommodate two people's belongings. Also, the door to the toilet and shower was a slider, not the best for privacy in any situation, but to it was sticky and jammed easily. Parking was not included and the staff seemed unclear how to direct patrons to street parking or add $50 per night to the bill. Finally, there is a Salvation Army across the street and hotel is located right on the edge of an undesirable area with some transient activity. Didn't feel safe.
