Overall nice experience. Areas that needed improvement was simple maintenance. Hot tub jets were broken a pool area, our kitchen table light wasn't working, a lot sand on and debris by edges of the pool. Basic maintenance is needed and things would be 5 star.

The restaurant was spectacular. The adult pool was lovely and they served food and drinks if you wanted it. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Pros - we loved having breakfast every morning in the restaurant. The cost was included in our stay and well worth. The staff were friendly. The views of the lake are lovely. Cons - the rooms are in serious need of updating. Our bed sagged significantly in the middle, the couch was worn, the dining chairs were in need of repair (ripped and worn). The fitness room is very small and has minimal equipment. I would stay here again and try another room if I there was a good rate but if all rooms are the same condition it is definitely not worth the price.

Spirit Ridge is so relaxing and soul filling, I highly recommend it if you need a getaway to fill your cup. The year round heated pool, hot tub and steam room make it an awesome getaway!

Absolutely love the property- the suite, the pools, the cultural centre, and the winery. The only thing they could improve is the fitness centre, in addition to weights more equipment including an exercise ball and workout bench would be helpful.

The hotel staff and location are excellent! We enjoyed both restaurants and the service was very good. The only criticism I have is that the cushions on the loungers around both pools need to be cleaned or replaced and also the cushions on the restaurant chairs need the same. They are stained and tired out.

Awesome spot. Rooms are essentially a full condo with kitchen and a balcony patio which has a bbq. Only two kinks in the resort is that the pools, especially the adult one aren’t big enough for when it gets busy. And the gym simply doesn’t cut it (cardio equipment and dumbbells up to 40lbs). But beyond that it’s an awesome spot and we will return.

Great communication from staff. They texted to make sure everything was up to standards and responded quickly when we requested a bathrobe. The room is great and the pool and hot tub were really nice!

Check in was 2.5 hours late. Pools were both dirty. Hotel was understaffed. No cleaning supplies in the gym. We paid $800 a night and I expected WAY more. The potential is there - gorgeous view and spacious rooms, just need way more invested into staff.

The room was very clean, spotless.Staff were courteous and very helpful. Food at the main restaurant was totally tasty. We enjoyed our meals at supper and breakfast. Wine tasting was fun! The cultural centre was excellent in artisically conveying the importance of the enviroment, and the Indigenous history of the Okanagan. Loved the view of spotted lake. We will definitely return. ABG

Beautiful location. The hotel common space and rooms weren’t overly clean. My sisters room didn’t receive any housekeeping the entire 4 night stay. The pool was very very cloudy, you couldn’t really even see the bottom. We didn’t feel comfortable swimming in it. Staff was friendly.

Overall very beautiful & a lovely stay. The only complaint i would have is that our bathroom was dirty. The toilet was DISGUSTING! And the bathtub was not in the cleanest condition either. Check in staff was amazing! The views were amazing as well. Overall it was a great experience, just a yucky bathroom.

The outside walkways of the property smelled like urine. It’s a dry desert climate and when people urinate at night outside the smell lingers because there is no rain to wash it away. I suggest the property wash the rock beds beside the walkways with water

Check in was late & we weren’t given an eta when the room was ready. Staff just said they didn’t know & they did very little to try & make up for the room not being ready. We received a call that our room was ready at 6.30pm, no apology. We were told we’d have a late check out to make up for the late check in, on the day we were checking out I went to reception to check what time our late check out was, only to be told my check out was at the regular time, after arguing about it, a late check out of 2hrs was given, very poor from the staff & again no attempt was made to apologize or try & make up for it. The resort & room was dirty & outdated. Given how much it costs to stay there $750 per night, we were expecting a clean room & the resort to be in better condition. Overall not happy with the staff or the resort. Next time we will definitely be looking at other options to stay at in Osoyoos.

Pet friendly, vineyard & restaurant within the property. Pool, secure parking. Staff polite. We stayed 3 nights. First check in was easy but BBQ was not cleaned. It was greasy n dirty. I had to clean it before using. Balcony light was too dim. Can hardly see cooking at BBQ. Plus, one shower, the shower gel container was empty. Second day, overall was okay. Third day, we came back to suite at 5:45 pm to find the unit has not been cleaned. Beds not made, dirty towels not removed & refreshed, kitchen garbage etc., not removed, floor not vacuumed....Front desk was called and was told someone will be there in about 20 minutes. Not knowing what to do, we waited before making dinner. By 6:48 pm, no one dame, so we cooked and made dinner. Staff finally came shortly after 8 pm. Staff was apologetic and friendly but they could only refresh our towels and supplies! Removed garbage. We have stayed here many times over the years with great outcomes. So, we are quite disappointed as we expected better! Even the kitchen supplies are way too basic! There is only one cutting board! There should be at least two. One for raw and one for cooked/ ready to eat foods like fruits and vegetables. This is basic food safety practice!

Had a great stay at the property. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I loved my patio with a view of the lake. The only reason it got four stars is because we were on the 2nd floor of building A and we could hear the people a floor above us, making noise at all hours of the day. Which is not the hotels fault but did affect our sleep.

Love the property and walking around. The sculptures are beautiful. This time we had a oddly laid out condo. Comfortable overall but the bathroom was weird with doors all overlapping. The shower was horrible because the spray was VERY strong but unmovable. Couldn't get away from it.

Initially after a pre selected checkin time I was told my room wasnt ready with not eta for when it was going to be ready. The manager took full accountability and provided me with compensation. I really appreciated his professionalism. The resort itself is quite nice with lots to do and the staff are polite. Only minor thing is that it needs a bit of a refreshing for paint, wallpaper etc

Overall the property was nice and we enjoyed our stay. Very quiet location and unbearable view. However, the service wasn’t on par with my expectations for this price point. The restaurant did not open for breakfast until 8:00 am (unusually late for a hotel) and there was no drinks service available at the pool apart from a short period on only one day. It’s clear that you have substantially reduced staffing for the shoulder season but this was certainly not disclosed when we booked. There was also a large corporate group staying at the hotel and clearly preference was given to those guests (for example the rooftop patio was blocked for their exclusive use one evening we were there). I won’t be rushing back.

Check in was late & we weren’t given an eta when the room was ready. Staff just said they didn’t know & they did very little to try & make up for the room not being ready. We received a call that our room was ready at 6.30pm, no apology. We were told we’d have a late check out to make up for the late check in, on the day we were checking out I went to reception to check what time our late check out was, only to be told my check out was at the regular time, after arguing about it, a late check out of 2hrs was given, very poor from the staff & again no attempt was made to apologize or try & make up for it. The resort & room was dirty & outdated. Given how much it costs to stay there $750 per night, we were expecting a clean room & the resort to be in better condition. Overall not happy with the staff or the resort. Next time we will definitely be looking at other options to stay at in Osoyoos.

Fantastic property, friendly staff, and everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. The manager was pulling double duty in a suit taking guests down to the private beach on a golf cart when someone called in sick, and he looked genuinely happy to be doing it - a true professional. Little moments like that really add up to create a magical experience. We can’t wait to return!

Restaurant on site was understaffed and the waiters couldn’t keep up. Dinner menu is just okay, however breakfast was wonderful. Service was great in the morning hours. We had to wait until 5:45pm for our room to be ready. Understaffed hotel staff. No one to keep up with all the cleaning. Don’t sell out your hotel if you don’t have the staff to clean the rooms on time for 4pm check in. Others were very upset standing around waiting. Rooms are nice. We stayed in the Desert Suites building. Clean and modern touches. One of the double beds must have had springs broken in Room 203. Very noisy bed. Pool and water slide were fun for the kids. Book ahead for the wine tastings on site.

Do not expect good service as a repeat customer. Staff and management were not accommodating what so ever. After requesting an alternate room we were promised that we would be switched first thing the following day as the hotel was at full capacity for the night. We followed up 3 times over the next 24 hours and were again told there was nothing that can be done due to the hotel being at full capacity. The hotel was almost empty. The parking garage wasn’t even at 50 percent capacity and the outdoor parking was less than 10 percent full. You could go on the hotels website and book other rooms online however the front desk staff and management continued to claim the hotel was full. This was an awful experience to say the least. This completely ruined our trip. After travelling across the country a 3rd time to stay here, it’s safe to say we won’t be back.

We didn’t get the room we paid for until 4pm on our last night—right before packing up to leave. We had to repack daily, and were promised our luggage would be moved while we were out, which never happened. Every day our room keys were deactivated, and we spent far too much time re-explaining everything to new front desk staff. There was zero communication between shifts and no consistency. Not the best location to access beaches but there is a nice view and a shuttle. Some of the rooms are starting to look a little tired. Checking into this place is always a nightmare!! Expect long waits, extra nonsense charges, etc.. Will stay at the Watermark next time.

I like its location, away from all the noise and busyness of the main beach. Located on the other side of the lake and perched on its ridge. The view from the pool and restaurant above the pool area is breathtaking. The private beach is great, equipped with lounge chairs and boat, canoes, etc. rental. Also, a fast-food shop right on the beach. Had a great lunch there. The facilities are clean and well kept. The kitchen well equipped with all the basics. Just one dissatisfaction, the sound proof between floors is not the best. The people on the suite above us, where so uncaring about how much noise they made. It sounded like they were dragging a table -though out the suite for hours. Luckily it was in the morning 8-11:00AM. Thankful they left the day after we arrived. Perhaps it will be wise to ask people to be aware and kind not making excessive noise for the floors below. I didn’t report this right away as I didn’t want any retaliation

Was hoping for lake view but had partial vineyard view which was serene & worked out fine. The property is up on the hill so do need a vehicle but nice to be away from the busyness of town. The staff & food at the restaurant was exceptional!!!! Would highly recommend staying at this property.

The room was very clean, spotless.Staff were courteous and very helpful. Food at the main restaurant was totally tasty. We enjoyed our meals at supper and breakfast. Wine tasting was fun! The cultural centre was excellent in artisically conveying the importance of the enviroment, and the Indigenous history of the Okanagan. Loved the view of spotted lake. We will definitely return. ABG

The resort is well run. The views from both the room and restaurant are amazing! My wife and I shared the Salmon platter for 2 and it was excellent. If you’re hungry, try the ribs. They were very tasty and plentiful. Don’t miss out going to visit the Cultural Centre, it was very interesting.

Extremely under staff and slow service. No other restaurants around. We were there on labour day weekend and a few days after. During the weekend the restaurants were not too busy but the wait time to sit, order, and receive the food was over one hour. no changes occured on the days after the long weekend and the staff were blaming it on the upcoming conference. but I did not see anybody showing up for the conference while we were there. not sure what was the issue. but definitely will not go back. better options in Penticton or maybe Walnut resort

The hotel staff and location are excellent! We enjoyed both restaurants and the service was very good. The only criticism I have is that the cushions on the loungers around both pools need to be cleaned or replaced and also the cushions on the restaurant chairs need the same. They are stained and tired out.

Front desk was awsome and our waitress at dinner was very good. The only poor thing was our service at brunch. The waitress brought us the wrong meal and then argued with us about it when we pointed out the error. We had indicated that one of us doesn't eat meat, which was why we ordered the vegetarian option. She brought us a bison burger and then was unable to privide a vegetarian option for the guest who does not eat meat. She argued that she had not made the mistake and that we had misordered.

Overall it was a great stay. The pool was a perfect set up for the kids and the staff was very helpful in helping us make changes to our stay. Two areas of improvement. The kitchen sinks were very slow to drain, making it difficult to do the dishes. The beds felt lumpy or too soft

We stayed in a 1 bedroom queen suite in the Desert Suites building. Location was convenient to lobby, parking, pools and dining. Our room was clean and had all the usual amenities. The property could pay more attention to cleaning common areas, including the exterior windows and doorways. We enjoyed dinner in the on-site restaurant twice. Service, wine selection and food were all very good. Be aware the restaurant closes at 8pm. We saw a family and another couple get turned away shortly before 8:00 because the kitchen wasn't taking any new orders. All staff we encountered were very friendly, courteous and helpful. We enjoyed the overall ambience and energy and would stay again.

As always, the staff at Spirit Ridge are what really made our stay special. From finding my lost wallet with all its contents in tact to the friendly service at The Bear, The Fish, The Root, The Berry, I always feel welcome. The rooms are clean, the beds, very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed.
