We spent extra money to stay at this hotel over another because of the hot tub and pool. Hot tub was broken, pool was freezing. The kids couldn’t stay in the water for more than 20 minutes. Went to take a hot shower and the shower head broke off. Wasn’t fixable by us or the staff. Asked for blankets for the pull out bed, we paid extra for, and was given a single sheet- no extras in the room, like I would expect when booking a room that claims to sleep 5. The ac was loud and rattled all night. Breakfast was small and things were empty when we got there shortly after it opened. Had to ask staff to refill and bring more things out, it wasn’t being monitored. The coffee was undrinkable- more coffee grounds than flavor. The gas station coffee was significantly better. The entire stay was just a huge let down and for the cost was unacceptable. The one evening staff was kind and apologetic but unable to fix anything or help us out since we booked third party.

False advertising. It was a Rodeway Inn but now owned by Quality Inn & Suites. No elevator was a problem. It wasn't very clean. Our key didn't work and it took a while to get a new room.

We were going to stay in Richfield for the 1a high school basketball state tournament. We decided to stay in Salina because the rates were half the price…but you get what you pay for. We were satisfied only because of the cheap price. The pool was freezing cold and the hot tub was barely warm. The breakfast was mediocre when it was stocked, but it wasn’t well stocked on some days (though it was okay on other days). There were rarely towels in the pool area. The staff was friendly but scarcely available to help. They also had an issue with our payment through Expedia, but we sorted it out with Expedia’s help. Mostly the icy pool was the deal breaker for us not being likely to return here again.

Nice place. The best Quality Inn I’ve stayed at so far. The only thing I didn’t like is the Indoor Pool was too cold for my tastes. The Hot Tub was only warm, which was okay.

Hotel was poorly cared for. Hot tub was lukewarm and smelly. Ice machine was out. Orange juice machine was broken. Overall was lacking pride of ownership and was run down and worn out. It was clean enough and met the needs of getting a room for the night but don’t expect more than that.

Safe location…staff was super friendly…but… sauna doesn’t work, hot tub was luke warm, TV remote barely worked, breakfast didn’t open at time posted online, comforter had something on it, top bed cover was super stained and microwave was literally retro. I would cancel this reservation and go to a different hotel if I could get my money back. The bathroom is visibly dirty with dirt and hair piled up along the edges. The pullout bed had hair in the sheets. Stain on a comforter of the bed.

We had to switch rooms due to lack of cleanliness. The room we switched to was better than the two other options we were shown, which also required cleaning, but we still had to purchase cleaning supplies from the local truck stop and do some cleaning on our own in order yo utilize the bathroom facilities. The toilet bowl was not scrubbed properly which was unsettling to say the least and the shower, tub, and sink required scrubbing as well. The bedding is ridden with stains which caused us to purchase bedding/ blankets to sleep on top of instead. The ac units are old and do not cool the rooms appropriately. The incidental charge of $250 does not match the quality of this property. This was a quick one night stay on a road trip back home from the west coast. Would not recommend this stay at all. If you can, keep driving until you can get to a more populated area or stay in the city before Salina.

This used to be a roadway inn. Pretty sure the only change has been the sign. The beds fell to the middle and the bathroom was dirty. The room was a quiet though and the woman at the front desk was nice.

The hotel staff are trying hard but the first room they put me in had a filthy unflushed toilet. They assigned a new room that was handicapped accessible and clean but had a very noisy air conditioner. This hotel is convenient and safe for a single woman so I’ll continue to stop here - but hope they can continue with their improvements.

If I have spent the day riding in a dusty UTV all day (as it appears many of the guests of this hotel have) and all I want is a place to lay down and rinse off, then I suppose this hotel fits the bill. Barely. For everyone else, probably not. If you use the pool, get a tetanus shot. Dead bugs floated all over the surface. The weeds in the parking lot made it look like an abandoned building. Breakfast? Horrible. The bed wasn't too awful. I apologize to whoever was in the room below us, as there is no way they did not hear us walk across the floor, no matter how we tried to be quiet. Plugs in the room didn't work. The rooms are beaten up. There is a lovely fish tank behind reception. Other than that, it's obvious the owners and management don't give a damn about this property. But you are in Salina, so you are probably already desperate.

The condition of the room was rough. The top latch on the door was broken in half. The light switch in the bathroom was cracked in several places. The in-wall toilet paper holder kept falling out of the wall. Border around the bottom of the wall was peeling off. Dirt in the corners of the bathroom floor. Sink faucet was barely a trickle. I realize that you get what you paid for and I had low expectations of luxury since I only paid $89. However, it was quiet. The woman at the front desk was friendly. Fingers crossed that breakfast will be good tomorrow morning.

Check in was wonderful. The gentleman at the counter was friendly and suggested some local restaurants that were open on the holiday. The room was okay. You could tell the rooms have been painted recently but done very poorly. Bed was comfy. AC unit was old and was very noisy and could barely keep up. The staff upon check-in was fantastic! He was super accommodating, extremely helpful and very kind. The room we were given - while conveniently located - was mediocre, and mostly surface-clean. The beds were comfy and clean, the bathroom not so much. Given the age of the location and the cost of the reservation it was worth it. The morning of check-out however, was a completely different story. The staff literally bombarded our room, more than an hour before checkout time, without knocking OR introducing himself (“Room service…” as they typically do). I happened to be just on the other side of the door, on crutches just a few weeks post-surgery having broke my tibia & femur. His entrance knocked me to the ground. The staff member looked down at me and without even so much as offering an apology or a hand up, proceeded to ask me if we planned to checkout that morning. I was dumbfounded and astounded at the audacity and ignorance of such an inconsiderate human, especially one employed in the CUSTOMER SERVICE field! We left as quickly as possible only to realize that I had failed to pick up my necklace from the floor when I fell. It was a custom made necklace and easily identifiable. I called the location to inquire as to whether or not they had found it while cleaning the room after our departure. We were going to stay in Richfield for the 1a high school basketball state tournament. We decided to stay in Salina because the rates were half the price…but you get what you pay for. We were satisfied only because of the cheap price. The pool was freezing cold and the hot tub was barely warm. The breakfast was mediocre when it was stocked, but it wasn’t well stocked on some days (though it was okay on other days). There were rarely towels in the pool area. The staff was friendly but scarcely available to help. They also had an issue with our payment through Expedia, but we sorted it out with Expedia’s help. Mostly the icy pool was the deal breaker for us not being likely to return here again.

The hotel was nice and modern and very clean and we furnished. The manager, I think his name was Ernesto, was exceptionally kind and helpful. He made a special effort to accomodate a special request I had, and he did it with a smile and genuinely seemed personally invested in making his guests feel welcome. My brother and I felt very comfortable there and greatly appreciated his unusual kindness. I will definitely return to this hotel if I am back in Salina at some point in the future.

The manager tried to enter the room shortly after 1 in the morning. She claimed she did not remember which room she had placed me in. The only thing stopping her from entering completely was the door bar. Once she realized she could not gain entry she tried to walk away as if nothing had happened. She scared me and had me fearing for my safety and didn’t even stay to explain why she had tried to enter and woken me while trying. Safe location…staff was super friendly…but… sauna doesn’t work, hot tub was luke warm, TV remote barely worked, breakfast didn’t open at time posted online, comforter had something on it, top bed cover was super stained and microwave was literally retro. We spent extra money to stay at this hotel over another because of the hot tub and pool. Hot tub was broken, pool was freezing. The kids couldn’t stay in the water for more than 20 minutes. Went to take a hot shower and the shower head broke off. Wasn’t fixable by us or the staff. Asked for blankets for the pull out bed, we paid extra for, and was given a single sheet- no extras in the room, like I would expect when booking a room that claims to sleep 5. The ac was loud and rattled all night. Breakfast was small and things were empty when we got there shortly after it opened. Had to ask staff to refill and bring more things out, it wasn’t being monitored. The coffee was undrinkable- more coffee grounds than flavor. The gas station coffee was significantly better. I liked their beds, if they could clean the bathroom and not leave things from previous visitors in the room it think I would go back for the bed. Breakfast was empty in an hour, they had the front desk person refilling breakfast foods but he was too busy.

The hotel staff was nice and friendly, the breakfast had good options for my family. The rooms were mostly well maintained. Our room was missing the battery in the smoke dectector. And the it took several hours for the AC to cool down the room. There is no elevator in the hotel. And the wifi was open to the public and not password protected, so we didn't use it. Also the paint was peeling off the pool, so there was a lot of floaties in the pool that seemed questionable.

Needs MAJOR cleaning, maintenance, and probably some security. While entering the side door to go to the room there were a couple transient looking people hanging out that looked and sounded higher than a kite wearing no shoes and speaking gibberish. When we got to the room, the door was propped open and window was open without a screen and the air was off so extremely warm inside. Unpainted drywall patches all over the room, lights that didn't work, toilet paper holder half pulled out of the wall, the tub/shower looked like it was going to come off the wall. I wish I would have taken pictures so I could post.
