Phaos 1870, A restored Winery

We had a pleasant stay overall, and the place itself is truly beautiful and well maintained. The setting is charming and offers a nice atmosphere for a short stay. However, the location was quite challenging to access, especially when traveling with luggage. The path and stone stairs leading to the rooms are not very suitcase-friendly, which made our arrival difficult. As two young women traveling on our own, we would have really appreciated a bit more guidance or assistance, as none was offered by the driver or upon arrival, which made the experience feel a bit impersonal. That said, we still enjoyed our stay and can see the care put into the property. With clearer information or a bit more support regarding access, the experience could be even more comfortable for future guests.

Mauvaise expérience. La marche du stationnement est en montant avec des marches equivalent à huit étages ( selon mon iPhone)!! Très loin du 5 minutes sans valises. Le SPA dans la chambre etait sale ( moisissures vertes) et bruyant, nous causant des problèmes de sommeil. L’eau n’est pas potable et on nous a fourni qu’une seule bouteille pour un séjour de 4 nuits. L’entretien du bâtiment est négligé: - pas d’ombre à l’extérieur, le revêtement de bambou de la tonnelle ayant été enlevé - le lavabo de la salle de bain des maîtres fuyait et il y avait de la moisissure autour. - le support à papier de toilette de la salle de bain des maîtres était arraché du mur, tenant de peur au mur. - aucune commodité: pas de grille-pain, pas de micro-ondes, pas de savon à vaisselle ni linge de vaisselle. Nous avons dû laver avec du savon à main les deux assiettes et ustensiles et les essuyer avec une serviette de bain. L’environnement est en rénovation, finalement endroit à éviter. Je ne recommande pas. Très décevant.

Charming location and room.

Property is nice, inside the narrow streets wish you can only walk to the property. The window have a great view to the caldera. Response from hosts is prompt, and attentive. Next door by window is a mini farm with chicken, rusters, dogs.. wish can be quiet or not, secound night dog cry all night but is not part of the property. Expedia advertises parking.. not sure why. you can find public parking in the surrounding st.. you need to walk to property.

Awesome spot, very close to places to eat. Sunset view is spectacular. Bed very comfortable, reception staff very accomodating and will do anything to make your stay more enjoyable
