Hotel einen Monat zuvor über Expedia gebucht, direkt nach dem Erhalt der Buchungsbestätigung festgestellt, dass die Buchung für den falschen Monat war. Daraufhin das Hotel gleich schriftlich kontaktiert mit der bitte um Stornierung. Leider keine Reaktion seitens des Hotels, auch weitere Nachrichten blieben unbeantwortet. Kontaktaufnahmen durch Expedia mit dem Hotel blieben ebenfalls fruchtlos. Da die Buchung nicht erstattungsfähig war, blieb ich auf den Kosten sitzen. Das ist sehr ärgerlich, dass das Hotel auf keine Nachricht reagiert hat und auch von seitens Expedia hätte ich mehr Hilfestellung erwartet.

The staff we met were lovely and helpful. The online check in is not easy for people who are on bicycles for 6 hours before arriving so we weren't able to access our room. It got sorted with a phone call to a concierge and though the restaurant was closed (at what we thought was an early hour) the staff stayed to serve us lovely food. People are lovely, systems are weird.

No available dining options, which required trip into nearby town. Excellent experience apart from that small detail.

We booked a family room for the third week in July. Receptionist welcoming and spoke English. Room was of a good size, with bunk beds over the main double bed for our family. A couple of niggles though: The lighting system is confusing. There are limited instructions as to how to turn them off, though this is in German and French and not English. If you are reading this and having the same problem, you need to click the left hand switch twice to turn them off and have the room and darkness, otherwise every time you turn one light off, another one will turn on in the room. It took a call to the concierge to find this out (I suspect he was a little annoyed, as he told me twice that the instructions were on the wall - maybe expecting Facebook, French or German). Though the room was clean, the carpet needs washing, as there was an order of stinky feet to it. The room was also very hot, even with a ceiling fan, so you may want to bring a fan of your own to keep cool during the night.

Familievenligt hotel med gode værelser. Godt indrettet. Værelse mangler ikke noget. Legeplads og andet at lave i godt vejr. Restaurant var middelmådig med manglende betjening.
