AJIRA Resort Sahl Hasheesh

Amazing staff and hospitality. Everybody went above and beyond. Great facilities.Lovely room with a terrace .bifold doors and a sea view. Golf carts run you around the resort where several pools bars and restaurants serve delicous fare..

When leaving these reviews, sometimes you have to think about what you paid versus—what you actually received. Then at the same time, look at what their competitors like Serenity, KAI and others in Sahl Hasheesh are charging. Therefore, for approximately £50 per night, with a buffet breakfast included and a free shuttle to the beach, AJIRA is good value for money resort. AJIRA is a 10 minute walk from the seaside, but the actual patch of beach that you will want to use (sun-loungers, beach service etc) is a 25 minute walk, or waiting for their shuttle aka black limo service (tame your expectations about limos). Ahmed, who was on the day-shift, really cares about getting every detail right for every guest. Then you have men like Taha (beach server), Farhan (breakfast server) & the senior pool server who are keen and committed. On the negative side, the quality of the food at the restaurant is very poor. On our first night, we had our dinner in the restaurant and every bite was unpleasant. We never went back! At breakfast time, there is a lot of variety, but we learnt to always go for cooked omelettes, plus any eggplant dish. Falafels, white cheese, rye bread, were generally good too. Lots of things were faulty, like the room door/key card system, lukewarm fridge, safe and defunct telephone. However, the genuine will to fix these issues was evident from all the staff we encountered. I would encourage you to tip your service well in EGP - NOT LOOSE EU COINS!

No beach on site, but its wallkable by 15 mins, or a car from morning to sunset to take you, small bar on the beach, sea a bit rocky shoes good idea. swimming pools across the road 2 mins, nice pool sea view,small bar. restaurant nice, all inclusive is available but its a set menu but there is a good choice, breakfast is a very nice buffet style, we had good service in restaurant from Ibrahim worth a mention as hes always serving not standing around. Nice hotel for relaxing, would have to take a taxi if wanted any nightlife, but a few bars in saal hasheesh 15 mins walk. overall we really enjoyed our stay,and all the staff in the hotel are very helpful and exceptionally nice.

Meget godt hotel, beliggende 5 min kørsel fra stranden, der er gratis transport til og fra stranden. Hvis man er til snorkeling ligger der et super flot rev lige neden for hotellet hvor der er en badebro, vi så både eagle Ray og skildpadder der 🐠🙏

La propiedad es fabulosa. Playa privada con transporte gratuito, varias piscinas, excelente restaurante, muy rica la comida y la atención por parte de los meseros

Very quiet and calm area. The service is excellent. They put more energy on the design rather than the taste. Food is below average. Aircondition is noisy, but able to sleep with balcony door open. Everyone has positive energy and welcoming attitude. And always very helpful. Pool and beach beautiful. Thank you for a nice stay. See you again.

Posto dove rilassarsi totalmente, tt molto cordiali. Il cibo è buono ma poco variegato; soprattutto la colazione. Il mare è strabiliante. Qui la barriera è ancora viva e si possono vedere una marea di pesci. Anche la navetta per la spiaggia e' molto utile. Grazie di tt.

Personal sehr bemüht und nett, Rahmenbedingungen wie Sauberkeit und Lage eher weniger

Struttura nel complesso carina, spiaggia attrezzata gratuita, piscina minuscola e non usufruibile completamente diversa dalle foto. Le camere sono ampie, avevamo chiesto una matrimoniale ma non ci è stata fornita, la pulizia esterna è buona e nel complesso anche quella della camera con presenza pero di calcare, migliorabile insomma. La zona è distante dal centro di hurghada e dunque un po’ isolata ma sicuramente la baia di Sahl hasheesh è una delle migliori come barriera. il personale parla poco inglese e volevano addebitarci, in un tentativo vano di spillarci dei soldi, delle bibite che avevamo comprato al supermercato spinneys..

Le personnel est super et c’est ce qui permet d’oublier le reste… entre la chambre vétuste et très sale ( je n’attends pas d’une chambre qu’elle soit un bloc opératoire ) mais les rideaux et murs tachés et la moitié du mobilier cassé… la nourriture du buffet est passable Celle du restaurant est horrible L’eau payante je trouve ça moyen aussi Et sinon on paye une nuit sur le site à un prix et on se retrouve à payer le double à l’hôtel sans explications

I stayed there for 3 nights but actually my stay was disappointing. The first room had a strong bad smell (1102), and the second one I was moved to had a bed bug (1103). The air conditioner was very noisy in the last room (1105), and the cleanliness was poor with hair left from previous guests. The food quality and variety at both breakfast and dinner were below expectations. On my last day, loud bass-heavy music played at the beach from early morning, and staff didn’t take my request to lower it seriously. Overall, not a comfortable or relaxing experience however the service wasn't too bad to be honest

Sauberkeit: lässt zu Wünschen übrig, Reinigungspersonal schlecht geschult und Reinigungsgeräte Primitiv. Reception Freundliche Angestzellte. Frühstück/Abendessen:Warme Speisen waren immer Kalt. Zimmer: Klimaanlage veraltet und LAUT. Glastüren zur Dousche schleiffte am Boden, konnte kaum geöffnet werden. Technische Anlage(Licht, Toilette, Wasserhahnen etc.) müsste erneuert werden. Kommen erst wieder wenn das Ressort Saniert wurde. Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Alors par où commencer, j’ai pas envie de dénigré l’établissement mais sans mentir il y a bcp de point négatif. Premièrement nous arrivons à l’hôtel vers 22h le mec a l’accueil nous dis que nous avons un all exclusive à noter que nous avons que le petit dej compris… bon ça encore ça va. En arrivant dans la chambre des tâches sur le mur noir je sais même pas ce que c’est… impossible de ranger nos affaires car impossible d’ouvrir la porte du dressing. Nous avons Wifi gratuit dans l’hôtel mais bon faut il encore qu’il marche par ce que juste d’envoyer un message sur what’s app 10min pour s’envoyer. Et la meilleure pour la fin par ce que je trouve ça très drôle. Il y a dans la chambre une télévision à disposition avec Netflix YouTube… Lorsque j’essaie de lancer une de ces applications il est impossible de l’utiliser, « votre télévision n’est pas connecté à internet » je décide donc d’appeler la réception, il viennent à 3 pour au final me dire que c’est pas possible. Je demande pourquoi et le mec hausse les épaules sans donner de réponse. Ça reste un bon hôtel dans l’ensemble mais je suis désolé vous pouvez trouver bcp mieux pour le même prix

Trevliga personal. Restaurang chefen Mr. Mansour är så hjälpsam och fixade allt som vi behövde .. Mysigt and väldigt rent suite jag har Ingenting negativ att säga! Städpersonalen jätte hjälpsamma och kreativa med att formerar djur med handdukar. God middag, och frukost. Receptionist Mustafa jätte hjälpsam och trevlig.

We booked a deluxe room with a queen bed weeks in advance. Upon arrival, we were told there were no queen rooms available. Instead, we were given a room with two single beds. Staff said they would “make it one bed,” but the beds were just pushed together, leaving a gap between them, so my partner and I slept on separate beds. The beds were worn out, the sheets had makeup stains, and the entire room was filthy. The floor was covered in dust, dirty shower, grimy toilet with two half-used rolls of toilet paper, and a clogged basin. Water from the shower flooded the entire bathroom. The water from the basin was brown, the reception said there waa nothing they could do The wifi didn’t work, when we complained, we were told to just keep turning it on and off, it never worked. We asked to have our room cleaned, but were told the cleaners had already gone home. Dinner was another disaster. The menu was uninspiring, so we tried pizza, but it was bizarrely crispy and tasted awful. When we went back to our room, the AC had turned into a heater. Two staff members stayed in our room until 1am trying to fix it, without success. Asked for another room, we were told there weren’t any available, not even a fan was offered. We had to sleep in suffocating heat, in the desert. The manager didn't care. Thanks to Expedia support staff who stayed in contact with us, helping us out because the manager didn't give a damn. We left after one night, out of 3 nights.

Discreto! Nonostante il personale è molto simpatico e cercano di fare del loro meglio, non tutti parlano inglese, quindi è difficile comunicare. Ho avuto un po‘ di problemi con Internet, poi hanno chiamato il tecnico ma comunque funzionava a singhiozzo. Cibo niente di che. La struttura ha bisogno di manutenzione. Fattore positivo, il personale è simpatico e amichevole

Hotel staff is very polite and helpful. We had a great time. Security personals, front desk staff, waitresses and cleaning staff strive to please and help.

All staff are very helpful and friendly. They made a beautiful birthday cake for us. The food is extremely high quality and very generous portions. Ahmed was there at every mealtime and also at the pool bar to make sure we did not want for anything - thank you Ahmed - you made our stay very memorable

Très bon Hôtel avec une qualité / prix excellente. - Installation Propre et récente. - Piscine très confortable avec jolie vue. - Plage sable agréable avec service au top (pensez juste à prendre ses chaussures d’eau, il y a un mélange pierre sable au fond de l’eau). - Service OK mais sans plus, le personnel ne comprend pas bien l’anglais se qui crée beaucoup de quiproquo. - Restaurant est très bon, mais même soucis lors des commandes de plat (mauvaise communication). - Attention quand même avec les produits non cuits comme partout en Égypte les estomac Européen ne digère pas leurs eau ni les aliments frais laver à l’eau du robinet.

Chambre propre, le personnel gentil mais certains sont incompétents, pas de commerce à proximité donc très calme. L’eau a coupé pendant plus 24 heures sur les premières 48 h ce qui est inacceptable. Pareil pour l’électricité qui a été coupé à plusieurs reprises. Gros manque de réactivité de l’hôtel.

Beau complexe, nous avons très apprécie, nourriture bonne. Situé dans un très beau quartier mais loin de tout un peu. Dans un nouveau développement.

This place was amazing the room was clean and beautiful the food amazing too and the staff were very kind this resort is a little bit too far from downtown.

Albergo inserito nel contesto di un grande villaggio di ville di lusso, ancora da ultimare. Stanza bella, spaziosa, pulitissima. Personale gentile e cortese. Bella la piscina, servizio in spiaggia eccellente, spiaggia raggiungibile con transfer, comunque a circa 1,5 km dall' albergo (che è vicinissimo al mare, ma davanti vi è una scogliera)

Chambre propre, le personnel gentil mais certains sont incompétents, pas de commerce à proximité donc très calme. L’eau a coupé pendant plus 24 heures sur les premières 48 h ce qui est inacceptable. Pareil pour l’électricité qui a été coupé à plusieurs reprises. Gros manque de réactivité de l’hôtel.

Then at the same time, look at what their competitors like Serenity, KAI and others in Sahl Hasheesh are charging. Therefore, for approximately £50 per night, with a buffet breakfast included and a free shuttle to the beach, AJIRA is good value for money resort. AJIRA is a 10 minute walk from the seaside, but the actual patch of beach that you will want to use (sun-loungers, beach service etc) is a 25 minute walk, or waiting for their shuttle aka black limo service (tame your expectations about limos). Ahmed, who was on the day-shift, really cares about getting every detail right for every guest. Then you have men like Taha (beach server), Farhan (breakfast server) & the senior pool server who are keen and committed. On the negative side, the quality of the food at the restaurant is very poor. On our first night, we had our dinner in the restaurant and every bite was unpleasant. We never went back! At breakfast time, there is a lot of variety, but we learnt to always go for cooked omelettes, plus any eggplant dish. Falafels, white cheese, rye bread, were generally good too. Lots of things were faulty, like the room door/key card system, lukewarm fridge, safe and defunct telephone. However, the genuine will to fix these issues was evident from all the staff we encountered. I would encourage you to tip your service well in EGP - NOT LOOSE EU COINS!

Rooms are very clean, tea coffee water provided in room, no hairdryer in bathroom, but irons, hairdryer on request, tv, mini bar. No beach on site, but its wallkable by 15 mins, or a car from morning to sunset to take you, small bar on the beach, sea a bit rocky shoes good idea. swimming pools across the road 2 mins, nice pool sea view,small bar. restaurant nice, all inclusive is available but its a set menu but there is a good choice, breakfast is a very nice buffet style, we had good service in restaurant from Ibrahim worth a mention as hes always serving not standing around. Nice hotel for relaxing, would have to take a taxi if wanted any nightlife, but a few bars in saal hasheesh 15 mins walk. overall we really enjoyed our stay,and all the staff in the hotel are very helpful and exceptionally nice.

La propiedad es fabulosa. Playa privada con transporte gratuito, varias piscinas, excelente restaurante, muy rica la comida y la atención por parte de los meseros

Le personnel est super et c’est ce qui permet d’oublier le reste… entre la chambre vétuste et très sale ( je n’attends pas d’une chambre qu’elle soit un bloc opératoire ) mais les rideaux et murs tachés et la moitié du mobilier cassé… la nourriture du buffet est passable Celle du restaurant est horrible L’eau payante je trouve ça moyen aussi Et sinon on paye une nuit sur le site à un prix et on se retrouve à payer le double à l’hôtel sans explications

I stayed there for 3 nights but actually my stay was disappointing. The first room had a strong bad smell (1102), and the second one I was moved to had a bed bug (1103). The air conditioner was very noisy in the last room (1105), and the cleanliness was poor with hair left from previous guests. The food quality and variety at both breakfast and dinner were below expectations. On my last day, loud bass-heavy music played at the beach from early morning, and staff didn’t take my request to lower it seriously. Overall, not a comfortable or relaxing experience however the service wasn't too bad to be honest

Discreto! Nonostante il personale è molto simpatico e cercano di fare del loro meglio, non tutti parlano inglese, quindi è difficile comunicare. Ho avuto un po‘ di problemi con Internet, poi hanno chiamato il tecnico ma comunque funzionava a singhiozzo. Cibo niente di che. La struttura ha bisogno di manutenzione. Fattore positivo, il personale è simpatico e amichevole

All staff are very helpful and friendly. They made a beautiful birthday cake for us. The food is extremely high quality and very generous portions. Ahmed was there at every mealtime and also at the pool bar to make sure we did not want for anything - thank you Ahmed - you made our stay very memorable

Sauberkeit: lässt zu Wünschen übrig, Reinigungspersonal schlecht geschult und Reinigungsgeräte Primitiv. Reception Freundliche Angestzellte. Frühstück/Abendessen:Warme Speisen waren immer Kalt. Zimmer: Klimaanlage veraltet und LAUT. Glastüren zur Dousche schleiffte am Boden, konnte kaum geöffnet werden. Technische Anlage(Licht, Toilette, Wasserhahnen etc.) müsste erneuert werden. Kommen erst wieder wenn das Ressort Saniert wurde. Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Très bon Hôtel avec une qualité / prix excellente. - Installation Propre et récente. - Piscine très confortable avec jolie vue. - Plage sable agréable avec service au top (pensez juste à prendre ses chaussures d’eau, il y a un mélange pierre sable au fond de l’eau). - Service OK mais sans plus, le personnel ne comprend pas bien l’anglais se qui crée beaucoup de quiproquo. - Restaurant est très bon, mais même soucis lors des commandes de plat (mauvaise communication). - Attention quand même avec les produits non cuits comme partout en Égypte les estomac Européen ne digère pas leurs eau ni les aliments frais laver à l’eau du robinet.
