Nice place out of the way when visiting Springfield. The economy room has no dresser or a table to work on but the common area just off the room was doable. The lounge was nice and the limited menu was very good

Very quiet and clean woukd be how I woukd describe this hotel. The staff were very customer friendly and attentive. The bar onsite was managed by staff that know customer service and how to treat a guest.

I had a great time. The room was amazing. The view was great. The people that worked there, it was the best part about it.All they make you feel like you're at home. They have a full bar and restaurant. They do have a gaming room if that is your thing. Close to a Dollar General, so if you forgot anything right there. If you would like to eat out, there are restaurants, close and a corner.Cafe that has an amazing breakfast

This was a great property with a comfortable bed and our room had a beautiful view of the river. Quiet, good TV, excellent water pressure in shower, everything clean. It could use a few extra amenities such as a set of drawers or a clothes closet with hangers to put clothes in, or a suitcase bench. The bar, which stays open until 1 am is great addition especially when everything else around the lodge is closed, and has delicious pizza and great and friendly bartenders.

Very cute “lodge” theme decor. Super friendly staff. Loved the small bar area with great pub food and local diners. Rm 106 was adequate in size but only we carried just one small bag. No closet or drawers for storage. Bathroom big enough for one person. No shelf space. Nice river view from room.

The lodge was clean and the staff was great. The hotel is very dated and tired. Carpet in the room was old as was the bedding. We could hear the people in the room next door talking. Our room was in the basement so no outside windows. Only a window into the inside hallway that was lit all night.

We stayed 2 nights in a double Queen. The room was very spacious and the price was really good. We got a rollaway bed as well. The beds were rather uncomfortable and I ended up sleeping on the rollaway the second night and let the kids have the beds. That was my only issue with our stay. Staff were very nice and helpful. The continental breakfast wasn’t bad at all either. I’d stay again but may ask for a rollaway again for myself.

My room was small, with only a queen bed, nightstand and a chair. TV was mounted on wall. There was no in-room coffee maker, closet/wardrobe, microwave, mini-fridge, desk or table. Despite being small the room decor was cute, bed comfortable and everything was clean.

It was clean. Staff was nice. Just a note not a complaint, the walls are paper thin, so you can hear whats going on next door like you are in the room. So nice place to sleep, not a romantic get away. Lol.

We had a very small but comfortable room. It included a breakfast with some good choices. What stood out to us was the staff. They are exceptionally thoughtful and helpful. We stayed as part of a family event for Thanksgiving and the staff did all they could to make everyone's stay comfortable and meaningful. We also appreciated the group facilities in the basement for our family reunion at Thanksgiving.

Couldn’t speak highly enough of Riverbank! Great place to spend a weekend. They also let me do laundry and even gave me detergent all for free. Happy to find an affordable, local, nice, and welcoming place to spend a weekend.

A little miss leading on the description. It is an old bank that has been converted into a hotel. Some of the rooms do not have windows to the outside and it sits right next to a railroad track. The owners are extremely nice and helpful.

Clean and comfortable room. A variety of lodging options, from a small economy to a suite with a jacuzzi. Limited dining options but tasty food (appetizers, pizza, wine and beer). Very close to Lincoln's New Salem. Situated along the banks of a lovely river in a quaint historic town. Very friendly and accommodating staff!

River view rooms are the hidden gem at this property. Service and hospitality were very good, food was exceptional and surpassed expectations! Great pizza as well. Only issue we encountered, had nothing to do with the lodge, was everything is closed on Monday & Tuesdays pretty much town wide. Great experience over all.

I stay at this hotel quite a lot…a clean, wonderful little hotel! A major bonus is an on-site restaurant with outstanding pizza and nachos. The free breakfast is just dry goods but it’s enough. A quaint little hotel!

Though we live just about a hour from the wedding we attended, we wanted somewhere to stay for the night. It is a quaint little lodge that is quiet. We loved that they offered food til 1:00 a.m. after we'd gotten in from the reception late. Just FYI the pizzas are huge and delicious! Breakfast had a good selection of grab and go items as well as others. Suited us just fine. The staff was very kind. Our room was one of the economy smaller ones facing the river, in a distance, where we saw many turkies on the waters edge. It was beside the train tracks but when a train passed by you could hardly tell. No whistle blowing and it was quite cool to see so many coal train cars. Again, a small room with a TV, bathroom and chair, but suited our needs of a cozy place to crash for the night. Comfy beds and affordable. We would stay here again.

This was a great property with a comfortable bed and our room had a beautiful view of the river. Quiet, good TV, excellent water pressure in shower, everything clean. It could use a few extra amenities such as a set of drawers or a clothes closet with hangers to put clothes in, or a suitcase bench. The bar, which stays open until 1 am is great addition especially when everything else around the lodge is closed, and has delicious pizza and great and friendly bartenders.

this place has great decorations I loved all the wood carvings it has excellent soundproofing if you get loud very nice staff a cold but delicious breakfast and by that I mean it is not hot eggs or hot bacon it is delicious things like Pop-Tarts and scones and a wide variety of beverages for the morning the bar inside the hotel is fun and nice and open till 1:00 am

Was there for a wedding. No prob about getting an iron and the board. I mentioned that uber might not work there. They offered a ride by a staff member. Im picky but i was happy. Oh, beer $2 happy hour. Plus 50 cents regular price. Where i live i pay $ 8.

This was a great place to stay for a couple of nights. Everything was clean and in working condition. I would suggest getting rid of the carpet in the rooms. We would definitely stay again.
