Had a great stay, great location for visiting the Cuyahoga Valley national Park and Cleveland Ohio! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna! The breakfast was great, so were all the staff! Clean, Spacious rooms, with comfortable beds. Would stay here again!

Most of the staff was friendly and quick to help. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety. Something kept happening to my room keys and they would not work. I had to return to the desk to have them reenergized. Lastly, the elevator needs maintenance, badly.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the general condition of the hotel was quite good. The breakfast buffet was well done. A couple of things that could be improved on - the condition of the elevator (the floor mat and floor and walls) were very dirty - also, there was a lot of trash in the parking lot and lawn (most of it from the truck stop next door) that needed to be picked up.

Pool water was cloudy. The toilet in our room ran a lot because it had cheap parts and wasn't installed correctly ( I fixed it). The stairway doors and back door slammed if you didn't catch them. However, the breakfast was quite good. I especially enjoyed the fresh oatmeal (not packaged) and all the toppings (dried fruit, nuts, and cinnamon). Well stocked and nice selection of bread. Kudos for that.

I was very impressed with the hotel over all. But i definitely choose this one because of the pool and gym. The gym def needed some work. The treadmill was uneven and equipment was older. The rooms on the other hand were amazing except the beds a little on the harder side.

Usually HI Expresses are clean, and updated, but this place was not. Was dirty, room had a musty smell, AC did not work, and walls were paper thin. Breakfast was good, location was convenient to Cuyahoga National Parks for hiking, and staff was friendly. Wouldn't stay here again.

Upon checking into our room we found that the toilet was broken and that we had dirty bedsheets (looked as if there was residue from someone eating Cheetos and fruit punch stains on the bed along with crumbs all around the bed). When we called the front desk to report the condition of the room they offered to move us in more a questioning type manner like I was crazy for asking to be moved. We stayed 5 nights and housekeeping didn't clean the room once. The pool was cloudy and the lights were never on inside. My husband was told they use the natural light during the day. The staff didn't seem like they wanted to be bothered to help. The breakfast was good. A nice mix of hot and cold items. I'm disappointed because we have stayed at mutliple Holiday Inn Express locations and have always had a good experience. I guess you can't expect it at every location.

Great beds, the room doors were not safe both the connecting room and hallway room were not locking. The hallway door allowed a man to just push it open until he realized he was in the wrong room. Friendly people and the room was clean. No ironing board or iron.

Sandy at the front desk was very friendly and made excellent restaurant recommendations when asked. The room was clean, and the AC/heater worked well. The hotel offered complimentary bottled water and hosted an ice cream social in the afternoon, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was good and appeared to be prepared with care. My only complaint was that the walls were quite thin, so we could hear people walking above us late into the night, as well as conversations in the hallways, which kept us awake. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a clean room and warm staff.

The hotel was in good shape and was clean. The hotel staff were friendly. The WIFI at this hotel is terrible. I was getting sub 1 Mb download speeds (approx, 100 times slower than my house) which made accessing a steaming service painful. The room doors slam shut. Not only do you hear the door slams, but you also feel them reverberate in the room. The property is adjacent to a Pilot truck stop so be prepared to hear truck sounds throughout your stay. Pack and use ear plugs.

For a basic hotel, it's fine but they should get the basics right. The biparting sliding shower door could not slide- the rollers or glides weren't rolling or gliding. I had to lift up the glass and coax it open, closing was the same. The handle was on the glass was also completely loose. Not good to find this out at 5:00am

It was the noisiest place we have EVER stayed. The walls seemed made of paper. We were near the end where there were steps- door slamming all night. Also could hear everything in the room next door. Literally regular volume conversations could easily be heard and understood.

Arrived around 10:30PM, no one was at the front desk, rang the bell and had to wait a while to be checked in. Except of that, everything else was good, the room was very clean, and the air conditioner was super quiet, nice! Liked the breakfast, a lot of choices!

Excellent breakfast with a variety of options. Clean room and comfortable bed. Staff was very helpful. My car battery needed to be recharged, as I left my interior lights on overnight. A staff member was prepared to recharge the battery in minutes. I’ll likely have to visit Cleveland multiple times over the next few years. I am sure this hotel will be where I stay regularly.

The entire staff was very welcoming. Things were very clean and breakfast was exceptional. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

The entire staff was very welcoming. Things were very clean and breakfast was exceptional. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

The hotel was great, the staff were friendly, and breakfast was really good! It was close to the National Park, which is what we needed, plus a great Mexican restaurant and convenience store. The only issue was not on the property itself, but by the hotel there’s a gas station with a lot of semis and our room was facing that, so at night I could hear noises coming from the trucks. I assume rooms facing the other way wouldn’t! But not a deal breaker as I’m a heavy sleeper.

We had a really good stay at this hotel. Very close to Cuyahoga national Park, which was our destination. The morning breakfast was wonderful both days that we stayed. Within 3 miles of other restaurants.

Sandy at the front desk was very friendly and made excellent restaurant recommendations when asked. The room was clean, and the AC/heater worked well. The hotel offered complimentary bottled water and hosted an ice cream social in the afternoon, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was good and appeared to be prepared with care. My only complaint was that the walls were quite thin, so we could hear people walking above us late into the night, as well as conversations in the hallways, which kept us awake. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a clean room and warm staff.

We had to wait a while for breakfast, they were out of almost everything. The water pitcher was just ice. Our keycard didn’t work and had to get it fixed a couple times. The hotel could use some updates. The room was great. The hotel was good. We’d stay again.

Excellent breakfast with a variety of options. Clean room and comfortable bed. Staff was very helpful. My car battery needed to be recharged, as I left my interior lights on overnight. A staff member was prepared to recharge the battery in minutes. I’ll likely have to visit Cleveland multiple times over the next few years. I am sure this hotel will be where I stay regularly.

Overall an ok experience. Didn’t have enough staff for breakfast services that day and we had to wait to get the food and coffee refill. Room was clean but housekeeping forgot toilet paper when we checked in.

Was forced to join awards program to get into room 30 minutes early. Room had weed smell. Dated. Can’t control room temperature. Pool was milky. Breakfast was very sad.

We stayed just one night, and our stay was very nice. We arrived after 11pm and the employee that checked us in was super sweet and quick getting us in. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. We would stay here again

Room was ok ... could not turn air or heat off... tried for extra towels had none ready... tried for more blankets had zero... woke up next day for the free breakfast.. pancakes was not working at all .. all hot pans was empty accept for lil bit sausage gravy... then finally after smoking out front ..WOW... CAME IN AND eventually brought biscuits out fresh hard and cold.. asked for partial refund.... DID NOTHING...NOTHING IS EVER DONE... NOTHING typical corporate running..and do NOTHING
