Athens The L7 Str - Luxury Boutique Collection Hotel

Front staff was missing a lot. Airport transfer never came to pick us up when we arrived. Kitchen staff was great.

I have stayed at the Warehouse boutique apartments as the main hotel was under construction! The staff were so nice 👍 helpful, responsive and communicative. The apartment was clean, comfortable. We enjoyed our stay! Best, Despina

The hotel and staff were good, not a vast choice for breakfast but what was available was nice. The problems started on the second morning, we had a knock at the door from court officials, the owners of the hotel were being evicted so we had 45 minutes to pack up and leave. The officals had asked the owners to provide us with alternative accommodation but had no response.

Terrible management. While the staff was very friendly, this hotel really failed. On multiple levels. They advertise many things as services you will get but they don't provide them. The worst of all was the fact that I requested an airport transfer from them- specifically as they asked- both in the Expedia app (twice) as a direct response to their question on whether I needed it, and I emailed both the info and reservation addresses of the hotel the day before to ask for my car transfer. There was no car transfer. I ended up getting an Uber. They advertise that you can't drink the water in the hotel, although you can in Athens as a rule, but they want to charge you three dollars per bottle instead of free bottles in the room which is normal at hotels. They give you four free capsules of Nespresso, and say from there after they are $1.50 each. These should also be free as they are in most hotels- including the Newel I stayed in last week. They advertise a happy hour. There was no happy hour. And they advertise a rooftop bar experience. But it was closed of course in the winter. The problem here is that they have very poor management that let's far too many staff go during the off-season and so the service is horrible. I'm only giving it three stars because I liked the people I did meet at the hotel- they were trying but they were understaffed and probably underpaid from what I could tell. It really only deserves two stars but I will give it three because of the people.
