Cambria Hotel Akron - Canton Airport

Solid experience.

Check in was a bit of a mess. Had to wait 20 minutes for a clean room, but when we finally got to the room, it hadn’t been cleaned. Gave us a another room with a broken toilet seat.

The front desk girl was the rudest and most awful hotel contact I have EVER encountered! We showed up around 6pm and while checking in, I asked about scheduling our airport shuttle for the next morning. The girl was so nasty and rude Saying that they require a 24 hour notice. She admitted that is not posted or advertised and said it’s not her problem, she just works there”. When I asked if she could please at least try for us because we really needed that shuttle, she got even ruder and it became an argument with her saying she won’t give me a room and to leave the hotel. We went outside and made calls. Thankfully the Marriott not only had a room for us, but even though their shuttle was broken down, she set up a taxi at no cost to me. Do NOT go to the Cambria!!!

Hotel was clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly.

Room and bed were great. The only downfall was a group of kids ran the halls in a stampede from 12:30-3:30 am.
