Staff very friendly,easy check in and a nice Continental breakfast.only thing I wish the jets in hot tub was working one of the main reason I decided on this motel was the hot tub.

1 Elevator did not work. Parking lot is shared with another hotel next door and the weekend was busy, so had to park really far away. Breakfast buffet was standard stuff, but only one waffle batter dispenser, and both days sausage was awful.

Very friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast seating was tight but the food was good and replenished quickly. Beds were comfortable. The pool area was nice, hot tub was closed for repair. While the room and building were clean, it is in need of repair and updates. Mildew and what looked to be mold were in the corners of the bathroom, near the tub, and the bathroom door was warped due to moisture. There were only three sets of towels for the suite and one roll of toilet paper (hanging) that was half-gone. Lighting was quite dim in the "living room" area of the suite. Since the hotel is positioned right off of 95, the highway noise was noticeable for the light sleepers in our family. The parking lot is shared with an adjacent hotel. There were only a few spots open when we arrived later in the evening. Not sure what they would do if it was full. Overall, our stay was fine for one night and for the price. Not sure I would stay again.

Coffee was awful. It was coffee flavored water. Room was nice but smelled like mildew. There were no cleaning wipes in the gym to wipe down equipment before and after use.

The listing online says it has on-site guest laundry but it doesn’t. I planned my week-long trip with the plan to do laundry mid-week, however I arrived and found out I had to go to a laundromat. There were no convenient laundromats available and the one open 24 hours was several miles away. Super inconvenient and this misleading amenity should be changed on all media platforms. Other than that, the stay was great.

The breakfast was ok and the room was somewhat clean. There was a left over chicken nugget in the couch from a previous person who stayed there. The box spring was very squeaky when I turned to get comfortable and the bed was not that comfortable. The shower was nice and hot but the shower had mold on the floor and the plastic shower floor was damaged and dirty looking. I showered with my flops on. The ceiling had small holes and the paint was chipped around the shower head. I wouldn’t stay there again.

I’ll start this review as a warning…. Our bathroom tub had mildew that was discovered that night when I stepped in the tub to shower…. I tried cleaning with a rag (as shown in my photos) but there was just too much… When we checked out I politely addressed it with the desk staff and her response was “yes, it needs to be redone”… well, if you knew that room needed to be redone b/c of mildew in bathroom then why did you rent it??? Just unacceptable.. we slept since it was already late and we had unpacked our entire car and ready for rest. We got up and left immediately.. Comfort Suites should be ashamed.

My stay was not what I expected. I’ve stay here before but this time it was very disappointing. Mildew on the shower floor and walls. There was a step to get into the stand alone shower. There was mildew on the base off that. Mildew in the bathroom sink. Elevator dirty. Old hard bagels for breakfast. House keeping did not check if we needed anything. The only thing I like was how convenient it was to the softball field that we were there for.

The lobby, breakfast and staff were great. The floor we were on had a moldy smell as did our room. The room was spacious but had many spots that just weren't clean. The toilet was peeling. Many mold spots around the tub, what looked like boogers on the wall, shower head was pretty gross. The bottom of the door was peeling apart.

This property was conveniently located off of 95. The location was set back a bit from the road and quiet. Staff was friendly and check in only took a few minutes.The room we stayed in was a 2 room suite with standard amenities. It had a sepated "living" area with a sofa bed, tv, desk, and chair upon entry. It was separated from the double bedroom by a door. The room was spacious and beds were firm, but not uncomfortable. I did notice a bit of wear on the flooring and a small bit of water damage on the front of the bathroom vanity, but other than those things (which did not negatively impact our stay) the room was clean and everything operated as intended. Breakfast was good and staff was attentive in keeping the area clean and stocked. All in all, I would stay here again.

Room was fine but the room key didnt work after initially getting into the room and it was never able to be fixed. We weren't the only ones either. Add to that, the door wouldn't close on its own. Kind of a safety issue from a security standpoint. Wife and I couldn't both leave the room at the same time otherwise we'd have had to get the front desk to unlock it for us manually.

Room was spacious and clean. The hotel is located near shopping and lots of restaurants. Bed was a little in the hard side, but it was fine for 2 nights. Room had a fridge and microwave, which I appreciate. They did serve breakfast, it smelled good, but I didn’t eat anything. Will stay again.

This is usually my go to hotel whenever I want to go to Kings Dominion. Its about 10-13 minutes away, and they are really building the area up. Unfortunately, the building is starting to show its age. Paint chipping in the showers, lights flickering in the bathroom, and it wasn't the cleanest hotel. We asked for another room when we checked in due to all of these problems. The front desk attendant at the time was extremely sweet and helpful (I believe her name was Mary, she's from New York!) She was able to get us into a cleaner room. The price is good for what you get, but they are going to need to do some updating soon. Especially with all of the construction and newer building being built around the hotel.

Having the "living room" area before the bedroom was nice and kept the noise from the hallway down to a minimum. Breakfast each morning was hot and ready and wasn't the same thing each day. The pool area was nice but HIGHLY chlorinated, to the point where when we were in the hot tub it was burning our eyes. Neither of us count connect to the hotels wifi, when I asked at the desk I was told that it was because I had an Android phone, this is a known issue for the hotel and nobody there knew how to fix it. Bigger issue was parking. 2 hotels shared a lot so parking was at a premium

Our stay at Comfort Suites At Virginia Center Commons was a complete nightmare. I had called ahead to secure an early check-in due to our 8-hour flight for my 6-year-old’s wrestling tournament, but when we arrived, our room wasn’t ready. Hours later, they informed us they wouldn’t even have it by normal check-in time. When I spoke to the manager, she became unhinged—yelling, screaming, and even calling me the “B” word. When we finally got our room, it was disgusting—dirty towels, food in the fridge, and used feminine products in the trash. When I showed the front desk pictures, I was called a liar, screamed at again, and even witnessed another employee trying to calm the manager down as she berated him too. Another guest was having the same experience, and when I spoke to them, the manager threatened to kick my family out. This place is beyond unprofessional—avoid at all costs!

I booked two rooms for two nights for a business trip and after the first night my employee that has the 2nd room laid the key on the counter when they left to go do the job. When they went back to stay for the 2nd night, after working all day, he couldn't access his room they thought he was checking out and instead of calling the person who booked both rooms together to confirm they still needed both rooms they were left with only one room for a work group they would not refund or give him another room said we would have to pay for another room. This is not customer service we travel over 280 nights a year for business will never book this hotel again. Hotels.com is trying everything they can to have the hotel refund us but no luck so far. The desk staff CW was rude and very unaccommodating and lied and said he asked to be checked out why would he do that if we lived over a thousand miles away and still had work to do

No one was at the desk when we arrived. Waited around 10 mins before someone showed up to check us in. Room was dirty. Had food crumbs all over end table, floor and pull out sofa. There were no linens for the pull out sofa and when we asked for them we were given a pile of pillow cases, no sheets, no blanket and no pillow, just pillow cases. Lost power to half of the room and no one was able to fix it. Was told we could either deal with it until maintenance came in the morning or check out. We weren't able to charge our devices, watch TV or have any lights in the bedroom all night. We stayed 2 nights, no one ever came to clean the room or restock toiletries the entire time. Had to keep going to the desk for tp, tissues etc. Overall a terrible stay with awful customer service.

We have stayed before, unfortunately the management was aggressive and rude this time around, this reduced the star rating. Unfortunately this attitude was not only towards us as guests but also towards the staff who were attempting to assist us in our inquiries. Hopefully this attitude will be addressed and changed positively as the hotel is great.

We had to leave early and did not try breakfast - our room wasn't ready and we got upgraded - the lady at the front desk was very helpful, and the upgrade still fit our needs perfectly. We were happy with our stay, and may stay again soon. We visited for my husband's surgery at the VA hospital, and we were informed that Choice Hotels offers help to Veterans under these conditions. We intend to check into this for our next stay.

When I first checked in, the front desk employee was outside smoking and talking on her cell phone. When she came in she smelled horrible of cigarette smoke. She just told the person on the phone to hold on and placed the phone on the counter so they could hear all my personal information I was asked to provide. After she entered it she asked if it was correct, which it wasn't but she said she didnt need to correct it. When I asked if it was an updated room she simply relied with "the hotel is 20 years old." Not a very good welcome or first impression but overall the room was clean except there were several hairs on the ceiling in the shower.

This property was conveniently located off of 95. The location was set back a bit from the road and quiet. Staff was friendly and check in only took a few minutes.The room we stayed in was a 2 room suite with standard amenities. It had a sepated "living" area with a sofa bed, tv, desk, and chair upon entry. It was separated from the double bedroom by a door. The room was spacious and beds were firm, but not uncomfortable. I did notice a bit of wear on the flooring and a small bit of water damage on the front of the bathroom vanity, but other than those things (which did not negatively impact our stay) the room was clean and everything operated as intended. Breakfast was good and staff was attentive in keeping the area clean and stocked. All in all, I would stay here again.

This was an overnight stay to deliver something to a relative. We had stayed here in the past and were happy with our room and the amenities. On this stay, we had a room that faced I-95 and the noise prevented my wife from getting a good night's sleep. She had to go to the couch and close the bedroom door. Aside from this Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play? Also, have a selection of "NA" for the items that you want a comment for. Not everything you wish the customer to comment on is applicable to their experience.

It was very convenient for me. I was able to walk to the Venue where I was playing all weekend. And able to walk to Texas Roadhouse to eat. But there were other places to eat in a close proximity.

I always enjoy staying here! You can always expect the level of quality to be above most of the rest. The staff are friendly and are happy to take care of you your needs, and anything else. So this is why I’m going to mention about the breakfast. I can’t say that I was even halfway satisfied with this. This morning they had sausage and eggs and sausage, gravy and biscuits. It was around 830 and I can understand keeping the volume of food items low as not to waste. I’m sorry to say there were nothing but crumbs of eggs in the pan and nothing but grease marks left from where the sausages used to be as it had none. The biscuits are always hard on the bottom and the sausage gravy this morning was just like water thin and almost transparent. The coffee was out and there was just a little of the bold left, which I cut with water to make a half a cup of coffee. An employee was there to manage the food situation, but they were doing a very poor job in my opinion. She did bring just a few more eggs out, but there was a mad dash for that little bit of eggs. She didn’t bring any more sausage. I think it could have been a little bit better.

Room & hotel were clean. Staff was helpful & nice. Breakfast could've included bacon. The sausage patties were rubbery, & eggs were stiff like in texture. No grits or oatmeal offered. Didn't get a chance to use the hot tub.

It’s an older hotel but the water pressure was good. The beds were hard and the breakfast was decent but the area was messy and they were out of so much stuff and then they took forever to fill up the missing food, plates and silverware. It was definitely chaotic, everyone stood downstairs waiting for somebody to help. A decent stay but breakfast and a hard bed made me rethink picking this location for next time.

Breakfast could've been better. Kids were coughing around the food . They didn't offer eggs with cheese and they don't do shell eggs. Overall the stay is good. You have to request to have your sheets changed.

Wish the breakfast went a bit later. We were doing a lot, so we just weren't up in time. The guy on the desk when we checked in was ... unique. Not bad necessarily ... but not particulalry quick or efficient after a long drive. Parking is fine. Room was fine. Clean but nothing spectacular. There was a pool and hot tub. The pool was a tiny bit cloudy, the hot tub was more so and foamed up a ton when turned on. Apparently, another guest told me that's the result of people have sunscreen/lotion/stuff on their skin that gets into the water. So, they do need to be on top of treating that. Also, the pool area lights weren't even on when we went in? So, mostly good, very convenient location for Kings Dominion.
