Beautiful village location, pub full of character with great food and drink. Ideal on a sunny day. Highly recommended. Only comment (minor point), room was quite small, no real desk space to work from. Plenty of tables and room in the pub itself to work from though so not a big issue. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Staff very helpful bags carried to our room. The bathroom was very poorly lit had difficulty seeing though the mirror as lights were reflecting and casting shadows and there were no other mirrors in the room. Disappointed that there wasn’t a lift as my husband was disabled and needed his oxygen to get up stairs.

This was our first stay here and will definitely be back when we next need to visit our friend. Doggy friendly Hacker had a lovely time. We were in Loganberry twin everything spotless. The room was hot but we are in a heat wave and they provide a fan which we made full use of! Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good. The beds were super comfortable our two night stay was excellent -see you again The Swan!

Pleasant country pub with a lovely outdoor seating area. Food and service were good,. Stayed in the "Gooseberry" bedroom which was clean and comfortable. The only issue was the kitchen extractor fan which created quite a loud hum in the room until it was switched off in the evening

We arrived on what was clearly an unexpectedly busy sunny evening and the staff were at full stretch. However they turned the whole evening around, remained fully focused, polite and managed people's expectations and we told them that they had done a great job. The photos of the outside don't do the place justice, they've done a huge amount more work and it's a very inviting place to sit in the sunshine. We would highly recommend this and would come back should we find ourselves in the area. Top marks to the owners and staff.

We enjoyed a great one night stay at the Swan Inn. We got a warm welcome and great service throughout our stay. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good. The following morning we enjoyed a really tasty breakfast before we headed off. It rained the whole time we were there but in a way that made it even nicer to be inside enjoying the great food and drink the Swan has to offer. They are dog friendly so our lab also enjoyed his night away. Highly recommend.

We found The Swan at Hanley extremely nice, a very lovely character pub with a good warm atmosphere. We had eaten there before so knew what to expect, but this was the first time we had stayed overnight, and will certainty stay again.. it is very clean and comfortable.

Great single night stay at The Swan Inn. Check-in nice and easy, especially as I turned up a bit early. Room spotless. Single bed, and a bit softer than my usual bigger firmer bed but perfectly acceptable. Free Wifi was essential as mobile signal was virtually non existent and without it could not even make a phone call. Included breakfast was very good from stated locally sourced items

A very nicely presented pub with lots of character. Very clean room and pub area. Busy with people enjoying good food and company. We stayed in a small room and we were delighted with the comfort of the mattress. We are not very tall so it suited us well! Excellent breakfast and good service all round!

Staff and cleanliness was good however, there was a generator vibration through the room until 10.30pm which didn’t allow for an early nights sleep. When I telephoned reception Staff offered to change my room but I had unpacked and was in bed. The room also smelt of cooking. Surely they can soundproof the room. Thank you

Food quite overpriced for what it is. Easy to find and clean. Dog friendly but they don't provide any dog amenities like a bowl or bed etc. The bed was rather uncomfortable and extremely squeaky, to the point of you rolled over or even slightly moved it squeaked and made a lot of noise which lead to a rather poor night's sleep. Wouldn't say it's worth the pricetag - if it was a cheap £50 room it wouldn't be so bad. But definitely not somewhere we would stay again

Eaten here before and staying for 1st time. Clean warm well decorated and appointed room. Greatly enjoyed a good nights sleep Bathroom was skightiy tired and the pub would do well to give notice that no bathroom products are supplied

Stayed in a very cosy small twin. Mattress way to spongy for my liking. On the positive side staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent . Shame they stop serving food at 4pm on a Sunday so had to dine elsewhere.

Lovely stay, rooms were great, dining good. The rooms we stayed in had noise from the kitchen extractor fans whilst the kitchens were in action, but v quiet otherwise - if you're likely to want an early night, ask for rooms not affected by the fans.

What an idyllic position, by the village pond complete with ducks and 5 duck houses. Staff very friendly and helpful. I found the lighting in my bedroom too dark to read my book but bed and bathroom perfect. Food helpings rather too big but delicious.

Lovely village location. The pub is really nice with a great menu. The room was a nice size and very quiet. The bed was extremely firm. We like a firm bed but even this was a little much for us. Fine for one night, but not for a long stay. There were no USB chargers in the room or toiletries, so make sure you bring your own. Breakfast was amazing.

We were allocated Gooseberry room, which whilst bigger, suffered from a constant low level humming noise all night. This was in addition to kitchen noise mentioned, which fell silent at around 10pm. At 2am the fire alarm went off, which we were later told was a fault in the process of being fixed.

We were welcomed by lovely staff giving an immediate good impression. Our room was small and a bit dark, but had everything we needed. Our dinner was amazing, beautifully presented and generous. Thanks to the weather we were able to sit in a beautiful garden looking onto the village green. Breakfast was brilliant. All the food is locally sourced and delicious. As to the cost, we were delighted at the value for money. Lovely pub with loads of character and lovely staff.

Very well positioned for access to Worcester, Malvern, Ledbury etc. All staff really friendly. Breakfast was fantastic in terms of quality quantity and choice. Had meal in restaurant one night which was excellent. Room was good size and decorated nicely. Wouldn't hesitate to return

We couldnt have asked for a more welcoming stay. We had been caught in a 10 hour traffic jam on our way home. We arrived with our 2 dogs; tired, hungry and very much in need of a shower and bed. The staff could not have been more helpful. They made us up sandwiches, salad and crisps on arrival as the kitchen was closed. The breakfast was one of the best we have had with all local produce. We can not thank the staff enough for their hospitality. Genuine human kindness!!! The pub was very quaint. The bedroom was very tired but fully functional for the cost. The location is lovely on a beautiful village green.

The staff could not have been more helpful. They made us up sandwiches, salad and crisps on arrival as the kitchen was closed. The breakfast was one of the best we have had with all local produce. We can not thank the staff enough for their hospitality. Genuine human kindness!!! The pub was very quaint. The bedroom was very tired but fully functional for the cost. The location is lovely on a beautiful village green.

Our stay has been lovely. Considering the business of the pub , rooms are very quiet... food was to die for. The staff managed to squeeze us in for dinner as we didnt book and they was extremely busy. Nothing was too much trouble. 100% will stay again

Great 2 night stay. Very attentive staff. Breakfasts were superb and the evening meal was great and very reasonably priced. Great selection of beer and wine.

OK ROOM but noisy canned rap music from Restaurant below was shock for Country Pub. Being told I had bar bill when only in bar to pick up key was irritating, bot whether careless bar staff or bad folk in other room, former applies both scenarios

We had an excellent stay. The girls working there when we arrived late were brilliant. They made us some sandwiches even though the restaurant had closed and nothing was too much trouble. Best service we have had in a long time.

Beautiful village location, pub full of character with great food and drink. Ideal on a sunny day. Highly recommended. Only comment (minor point), room was quite small, no real desk space to work from. Plenty of tables and room in the pub itself to work from though so not a big issue. Will definitely be back when in the area.

Very well positioned for access to Worcester, Malvern, Ledbury etc. All staff really friendly. Breakfast was fantastic in terms of quality quantity and choice. Had meal in restaurant one night which was excellent. Room was good size and decorated nicely. Wouldn't hesitate to return

What an idyllic position, by the village pond complete with ducks and 5 duck houses. Staff very friendly and helpful. I found the lighting in my bedroom too dark to read my book but bed and bathroom perfect. Food helpings rather too big but delicious.

Lovely village location. The pub is really nice with a great menu. The room was a nice size and very quiet. The bed was extremely firm. We like a firm bed but even this was a little much for us. Fine for one night, but not for a long stay. There were no USB chargers in the room or toiletries, so make sure you bring your own. Breakfast was amazing.

We were welcomed by lovely staff giving an immediate good impression. Our room was small and a bit dark, but had everything we needed. Our dinner was amazing, beautifully presented and generous. Thanks to the weather we were able to sit in a beautiful garden looking onto the village green. Breakfast was brilliant. All the food is locally sourced and delicious. As to the cost, we were delighted at the value for money. Lovely pub with loads of character and lovely staff.

Food quite overpriced for what it is. Easy to find and clean. Dog friendly but they don't provide any dog amenities like a bowl or bed etc. The bed was rather uncomfortable and extremely squeaky, to the point of you rolled over or even slightly moved it squeaked and made a lot of noise which lead to a rather poor night's sleep. Wouldn't say it's worth the pricetag - if it was a cheap £50 room it wouldn't be so bad. But definitely not somewhere we would stay again

Stayed in a very cosy small twin. Mattress way to spongy for my liking. On the positive side staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent . Shame they stop serving food at 4pm on a Sunday so had to dine elsewhere.

Generally good but the loud humming was irritating and may affect all rooms? Air conditioning for a ground floor Beer Keg store? fortunately ended 10pm in Winter but wondering re Summer or even Spring or Autumn. Wasn't impressed by heavy small metal teapots half filled and awful potato fritters and streaky bacon in full English.

We arrived on a Sunday when restaurant closed at 4 pm but they had live music and Caribbean Street Food which made for a very pleasant evening. Good choice for breakfast which was well presented and cooked

Overall a great place and the owner has done a great job. Staff were very friendly. Evening meal reasonable but not anything special. It's a shame they let themselves down with minor things. The owner should really say hello to the guests but never did. Vacuuming outside my room at 6:50am is ridiculous. I needed a quick breakfast and ordered a few items with no cooked breakfast but they couldn't bring my toast after waiting an age so I had to abandon it! As a guest you couldn't actually get into the main building before 8am, another poor situation

Absolutely superb ! Great staff, room was lovely, real ale was perfect, and the food was outstanding. I had the venison and it was absolutely perfect ! The best meal I have had in a very very long time. I highly recommend.
