From check in to check out, everyone was great. It was dated, but don’t let that make your decision. The room has everything that you need, even a full working kitchen. They have a little shop where you can buy snacks. It’s a pet friendly hotel, so if you don’t like pets…..❤️

The room was fine but the power went out for a while causing a little inconvenience. I’ve stayed a the TownePlace Suites several times in the past 4 years and always enjoy the complimentary breakfast, but on this visit I noticed that the bagels were different. Not the same large ones and only 2 varieties, plain and Everything. In the past there were sesame, raisins, plain and everything and always fresh. I would have liked a gf bread and pastry option. Staff was great. Parking easy and safe.

The staff is excellent, however the hotel was undergoing renovations. Noise from work being done for long periods. The sofa bed was thin and required several blankets to soften and add support to the bed. Once open the sofa bed took up a lot of room limiting access to parts of the room making it impossible to leave open during the day. Parking was limited at times due to near full capacity. Airport noise was not noticeable in odd numbered rooms that faced West. Those even numbered rooms facing East and the Airport got a lot of jet noise especially in the early morning hours. The new laminated floor replaced carpeting and was cold and slippery, but easier for housekeeping to clean. Breakfast was excellent with hot and cold offerings and various drinks and fruits. The staff really responds to any requests and keeps the place clean and maintained. WiFi had to be reentered if you left the premises and returned. Also limited channels selection. Rooms were fairly well soundproofed but hotel over all is quiet. Have wide variety of items to give out or borrow to make the stay easier. Room rates varied and at times some were pricey. Found the Queen bed and bedding to be very good but the renovated rooms were very Spartan with no pictures on the walls.

Breakfast is a plus with good variety and the location is very near shopping and main roads. The room was clean, quiet and the well equipped kitchen was also a plus, especially for longer stays. Rates are higher than expected in view of the renovations. Once it is back to full operation I would give it a 4 star rating.

The place seems to be showing its age. The halls are banged up and it looks like it could use a facelift. The rooms are comfortable. The staff is nice. The location is great. It is dog friendly.

Great staff, great location and great shopping. Dated but now ging into full renovation as of 9/9. Great pet hotel and breakfast is excellent with a variety of delicious selections.

Most of it was great. Placement of the 1 elevator was strange. Hallways could use a lift. Maybe carpet instead of fake wood.

Power outages on Wednesday. No elevator service, had to walk 3 floors at 78 years old. Construction outside of building, no parking in certain areas. HASSLE

Loved that I could take my furry friend with me, my doggie is my companion. The hotel has everything you need for everyday basic living and the bed was super comfy. I would stay there again.

Near shopping areas however rooms were not clean. Bed sheets and towels used and not changed out of my room upon check in

We decided to come visit family and our old home town in NY. It was a long stay, 8 days. We needed a middle LI locale hotel to be close to family and friends. We should have read the google reviews. 1st, we had no idea the hotel accommodates homeless & ‘asylum’. We are understanding about their situation, but as paying customers of almost $2000 for the stay we were not comfortable. When breakfast ran out early, it wasn’t replaced. We saw tenants go up to their rooms with box full of food. The long term tenants hung out in the parking lot and some seemed to sleep in their cars. We even saw a vehicle parked our entire stay with no plates. The pit bulls were intimating too when you open your door. We definitely didn’t feel safe. As far as cleaning? We kept up our own room because we didn’t want our room accessible and open. The hotel hallways were filthy. Floors we had to walk on and then walk into our room. The elevators buttons were dirty. We actually saw milk on the button for floor #2 our entire stay. Save your money and go to a better hotel. READ THE REVIEWS ONLINE.

Room was filthy. Desk folks didn’t care. Someone came in to clean, took pictures. Did not apologize. A ‘coupon’ for breakfast was offered, when breakfast was ALREADY INCLUDED. Bedside lamps flickered, no offer to fix or attend to.

It was very clean and great place, my room didn’t have any trash can in the room or bathroom hence it’s received 4 stars and not 5.

Our bedroom door would not lock when closed. you had to kick it to get it open. the walls are very thin- you can hear your neighbors conversations and anyone above you too. Room was not stocked well (missing shampoo/hair blow dryer) and was questionably clean.

Too small for the price, floor tile worn and separated in the hallway. Stains on bed linen, small ironing board, and lights not working in the room.

If you’re expecting a Marriott you will be greatly disappointed. This property is filthy and unkept. Our front door didn’t close, there was pee on the pull out bed, there were dead bigs on the sills, there was something running down the kitchen walls, we had no soap… and this was just our room. The whole property needed cleaning and maintenance. We went down for breakfast at 9 am and there was nothing there. When we asked the receptionist she just said thank you but did nothing about it. It was definitely not Marriott standards by any means and for what they charge for a room cleanliness shouldn’t even be a question.

Was by the elevator so a lot of room noise from elevator mechnical use. Lighting not super bright

I was in a 2 bedroom suite(upgrade) due to my suite wasn’t ready when I got there. Spacious, clean, bed comfortable, just a tad bit squeaky.

It was okay the front doors were not automated, which made it difficult when pushing in a cart of luggage. We had the two bedroom suite. It was okay looking hardwood floors bed was a little too soft but it was all right. The couch was comfortable. The television was extremely outdated so it took 15 minutes to sign into my Netflix account. When we went to put things into the refrigerator we noticed it was warm we checked the settings and somebody had turned it off so we turned it on and at that point it stunk like fish really bad permeating the entire Hotel room. We called downstairs they made arrangements to swap it out approximately 2 hours later they did so.

The room was good! It was clean, spacious and comfortable. My one complaint is that, the cable went out on Saturday evening and still wasn’t on when I checked out Sunday. Netflix was all we had to watch no All Star weekend events to watch. Pet friendly hotels are not my thing. The people could not keep their dog from barking.

Bed was comfortable but there were no outlets next to the bed-An medical issue if you use a CPAP. Also no clock in room. Some of the lamps didn’t work. Garbage pail in kitchen area was too large for cabinet making the cabinet door stick out. Strong shower but had to remove drain cover so water would drain.

2 bedroom offered nice privacy and space for a family of 5

Ashley at the front desk was so helpful and incredibly nice. We however, had an issue with the pull out couch bed, she did attempt to replace the mattress for us but it was unfortunately no better with the new mattress. It was very uncomfortable and we were not able to sleep on it. We also had to ask multiple times for sheets and blankets. Breakfast being included is great, but we were very disappointed with the limited options and the poor quality. We are not sure if we would return to this hotel.

My overall was a 4/5. Staff was awesome, nice and polite. The only downfall i had was the first room the heater was to loud and there were very loud guests down the hallway. I was then moved to help but the walls are a little thin and could hear a lot from next to me on both side, door slamming, chatter. Another bad thing was the TV remote was half broken, then got the box replaced, which fixed it to what it was but still only half the remote worked. The walls are paper thin, and my neighbors phone conversation kept me up all night. In the AM, the shower had no hot water. Would never return. On the positive, the front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

Our stay for one night was good except that the heaters were VERY loud. We had to just turn them off despite it being 15 degrees out bc we couldn't sleep, as they kept turning on and off. Breakfast was good with several options for our family.

The place was very clean and good for the price. Communication was non existence. Front staff present on arrival was not welcoming.

An all around awful experience. I have always used Marriott and never had a problem any of their properties, that is until I stayed here. When I arrived, I was not greeted. I stood there for several minutes waiting to get checked in. I was simply handed a keycard, wasn’t even told what room I was in. I had to look at the key card to figure out where my room was. Was never told how to find my room, where the elevators were, what the amenities if any were, no Mention of the hours for breakfast, nothing on how to get the wifi, etc. It was very apparent the staff were more interested in their own conversation than giving an ounce of attention to a paying customer. As I made way looking for the elevator, I passed a staff only room where I heard a lot of yelling and banging. I do not know what was going on in there, but clearly a staff member was having a bad day and felt the need to let everyone else in the hotel know. The room was fine. My only real complaint is how thin the floors are. Whoever was upstairs above me sounded like they were stomping and banging nonstop. I was pondering calling the police because the noise was so loud, it sounded like a fight was going on upstairs. When I left, I again was not greeted. No thank you for my stay or hope I had a nice stay etc. just took my room keys and that was it. I actually had to ask if I was done here/could leave. This is without a doubt, the worst Marriott I have ever been to. The GM should be embarrassed.

The evening lady at the front desk was amazing. Our initial room had a problem with the sink and we had to be relocated, she worked so hard to get us another room because the hotel was full. But the second room we had was clean and tidy and everything worked well. Had a great night sleep and no issues at all. This was our fourth stay at this same hotel and it’s always been wonderful experience

The staff was really friendly and proessionsl. When a situatiln arose with my chechout, they were prompt and efficient, with immediate results.

Liked the area next to Walmart to grab some food options for the room and 20 minute drive to Hofstra university

The food options for the included breakfast were good. There was coffee and water available in the lobby. The bed was not as comfortable, too soft. There were plenty of restaurants and shopping in the area. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Check in and out was fast.

Great place to stay for a family..The breakfast was different every day and we all enjoyed it.

Breakfast was absolutely terrible so my chances of staying at TownPlace Suites by Marriott will definitely never happen again. Accommodation was clean and all employees were professional.

Front desk check-in people are helpful. Complimentary breakfast is convenient and good.

Breakfast was not really good. Staff too slow....poor choices for Breakfast. It didn't look like a Marriott. Rest was cleaned.

The staff is friendly but the tv didn’t work on all channels and wasn’t fixed over the 6 days stay. The breakfast promised was unavailable in its entirety for the hours promised- example the staff is allowed to put out only 10 bagels a day no matter home many guests are there. So get there at 6 am or forget bagels. Other items were available including juices, coffee, tea, eggs and bacon. Hot water is not available for enough time to wash hair and condition, it get cold. Maybe it’s in a timer.
