Beautiful room on the first floor! Looks out over the water. The infinity pool is beautifully landscaped and very private. The hotel itself is well kept and clean. Staff is very nice.

The view of the bay from the 3-season porch in our room was beautiful. We enjoyed having coffee in the morning and wine in the evening with a spectacular view. The room is nicely decorated in cute nautical decor. The infinity pool is heated and we enjoyed conversation with other guests. Clean and quiet, this is a great place to stay. We liked it so much, that this was our second time staying here. Please note that this is a motel and there are no grills, in-room coffee maker or microwave, or laundry facilities which make it better suited for a weekend stay rather than a full week. That said, I would go back again and again.

Beautiful location overlooking the bay and ocean. There is a heated pool and an open area right by the water with chairs. Close to Rockland. There are breakfast places nearby (via car). The room is nice and clean. Everything worked as planned.

Nice location. Room was beautiful and well maintained. Only complaint is that the pool was not very warm. The watch of my husband marked it at 73 degrees, not quite as warm as i would expect for a "heated pool"

The resort exceeded our expectations. We loved the infinity pool overlooking a beautiful Maine harbor. Also enjoyed walking down the Adirondack chairs by the water. We plan to return next year.

Very clean, cozy and comfortable rooms with cute details. The ocean view was amazing and the grounds were beautiful. We especially liked the heated infinity pool with a view of the cove. Would definitely stay again!

This property markets on their website that they have an outdoor heated pool that opens in May. I chose to stay here and drive 5 hours so we could use the heated pool. It would have been a lovely time in the afternoon except they do not hear it at all. The water was freezing. I don't know why the website markets this as one of the main attractions of the property and presents false information.

The location was good and the decor was nice, but the bed needs replaced. The edge of the accessible shower and the tile near it was moldy. The balcony and view were super! Towels were great, fridge was fine. Would have liked a coffee maker or microwave!

Lovely room—above expectations. The wine glasses in the room were a nice touch, but were plastic (not a big deal) and not clean (big deal). Plastic is harder to clean than glass, but it matters. Hope they’ll pay closer attention to this. Otherwise—very pleased with all.

I have to say that the Island View Inn was the cleanest, and best maintained hotel we stayed in during our recent week long trip to Maine. The view was great, the quality of the hotel is just a step above any other from that trip. I Can't compare it to others in the Rockland area, since we didn't stay in others, but compared to other locations in Maine, the quality and value was a level above those in similar or even higher price range. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved Island View Inn. The decor is just lovely throughout the entire facility. Every detail thought out and executed to perfection. Our room was clean, comfortable, and we loved the enclosed porch area that offered us spectacular views of the cove. We highly recommend Island View and plan to be back soon.

Very beautiful and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of outside seating to enjoy the view. View from room was beautiful. Bed was comfortable, as well as seating in room and sunroom. View from swimming pool was outstanding. Binoculars were a nice touch. Housekeeping changed out our towels and freshened up room daily.

My wife and I stayed there for 2 nights in June and were very happy with the accommodations. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. The whole place looked new or completely renovated. It was very peaceful and the view of the ocean and island was beautiful. Room was tastefully nautically decorated. Close to restaurants, shopping, pubs, etc. Very nice and friendly staff. This was a very stress free and peaceful getaway. We will be going back before fall.

I book our trips and there is a joke in our family about some of the bad hotels I have booked in the past. Well this trip redeemed my bad choices in the past. My wife was raving about this place. She said I hit a homerun. I would agree. The staff was super friendly. The room itself was elegant without being ostentatious. The enclosed porch/balcony was very comfortable with spectacular views of the ocean.

Loved the bay view and walk down to the water. We have a beautiful private balcony which allowed to hear the water. Very quiet, beds werent super comfortable butbwillows were. Immaculately clean. Will def be back.

Awesome hospitality at the inn. Not only were they accommodating and helpful but just generally nice people overall. They allowed me to leave my sea kayaks in a safe and secure spot overnight while we took a trip out to Nebo Lodge...they also helped jump my dead vehicle in the morning to allow myself and my fiancè to go home! Lovely experience and the infinity pool is amazing to boot!

Short stay since our flights were delayed and it was a stop on our way to Acadia. The front desk was accommodating for the after hours check in and it was the perfect spot for a coastal stay! Room was great, bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean! Thankful to have found this place fairly last minute. Would love to stay again!

The most quaint spot you can imagine. I want to gatekeep but honestly it deserves all the praise! Outstanding service, clean amenities, quiet and serene space. Short drive into both Camden and rockland so not exactly walkable to restaurants and shops but the property makes the short drives worth it. So cozy and cannot say enough good things - just know you will have to drive to get to shops, restaurants, walkable streets etc.

Short drive into both Camden and rockland so not exactly walkable to restaurants and shops but the property makes the short drives worth it. Beautiful view of the bay & Atlantic Ocean. Very clean & our room was nice size & decorated so nice. There was a pair of binoculars in the room to see those sail boats way out. A lovely coffee shop on main st downtown with homemade quiche & pastries or sandwiches. Homemade bread - the Atlantic Baking Co.

The location was good and the decor was nice, but the bed needs replaced. The edge of the accessible shower and the tile near it was moldy. The balcony and view were super! Towels were great, fridge was fine. Would have liked a coffee maker or microwave!

Very clean and well kept. Only coffee available on site so breakfast needed elsewhere. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice accommodation in a beautiful spot. Apart from coffee & tea in the morning, there’s no place to get any kind of food or drink, even snacks, so plan to go out to eat 4-5 miles away. Still, very nice.

We loved our room, it had a loft in it! We would have loved to stay for a week but they were full. The pool with the infinity edge and ocean view was amazing. Water temp was perfect. would have liked a coffee maker in the room but the coffee in the lobby was good.

My husband and I spent a night last minute. What a gem. Beautiful facility, super clean, comfortable bed, very nice pool. Id rate our stay a solid 5 if they offered hot water/ coffee in lobby beyond 7-11am and a snack machine onsite would have been nice too.

Beautifully located small hotel. Super clean. Friendly staff. Big rooms with enclosed balconies, all with a sea view. Nice swimming pool. No catering facilities but nice places to eat nearby.

The room was huge and had a gorgeous sitting area with amazing beach views!!! The pool area was spacious with plenty of seating and well landscaped. We enjoyed walking the ocean path too. Close to great restaurants like Ports of Italy. Plenty of shops as well as Mt Battie and some lighthouses.

The inn exceeded our expectations in every way from the nautical theme room decor to the well appointed bathroom. The view from the spacious balcony was gorgeous. Outdoor furniture included comfortable deck chairs, lounger & tables. The infinity pool & its ocean view was wonderful. The pool was clean, heated, beautifully landscaped-,plenty of umbrellas & pool seating. Dining either in Camden or Rockland was very convenient with many excellent choices. The inn staff was very friendly & helpful. Made you feel welcome. Definitely returning to Island View Inn on our next Maine trip.

This is our fourth year back at this property. They have two different motels/inns on the same property, Strawberry Hill and Island View. They have an infinity pool as well as a standard pool. Property is beautifully and meticulously landscaped and it sits on a hill overlooking Glen cove. It's an exceptional place to stay and we would highly recommend it. The beds are super comfortable with high-end pillows and bedding.

We absolutely loved this pre ious room. We were #16 on the ground floor facing the water and it was perfect. Beautifully decorated and serene. The only complaint was that the mattress was a little firm but we would stay here again. We had a little bonus room with another small bed and tv that was so cute for a child or small adult.
