All locks on back doors have been removed so anyone from the street can quietly enter the facility through the back doors as they are not secured at all, not a safe place to be. Be advised there is not an elevator on site so second floor is not accessible to disabled or elderly.

We returned to the property around 9:30 pm to find a group of people leaving the pool via the back parking lot. They had been swimming, still in wet swimsuits, and left in their vehicle. It did not appear they were staying at the hotel. When we got to the door to go inside, we found we did not need our key card for entry because the door lock for the door was a big empty hole. The door opened into a small entryway where a door on the left went directly to the pool and a door to the right went directly to the hotel lobby. None of those doors were locked. Unsettling.

We returned to the property around 9:30 pm to find a group of people leaving the pool via the back parking lot. They had been swimming, still in wet swimsuits, and left in their vehicle. The room was clean and hotel is pretty quiet. I found out after arriving that there was no elevator so i asked for a ground floor room which was accommodated. The room had a musty smell but this is an old hotel after all. Air conditioner worked well. Did not like the bed or the pillows. Neither were comfortable but i was tired and somehow managed to sleep anyway. I did not try the breakfast.

Very nice lobby and good breakfast. The only things I didn't like was the pool and hot tub being out of service; and before we arrived, I tried to call and no one answered the phone. But I tried later and they answered then.

Advertised as having a pool. however that has been down for maintainace for a few weeks and was not available for use. Shower was disgusting. No slip mat inside tub was slippery and slimy and there was black mold growing around the trim of it. Felt gross while in the shower and felt like I was going to get foot fungus afterwards.

It smelled strongly of disinfectant in the hallways, and somewhat in the rooms. The beds were below average, the pillows very poor, and when I walked around the room barefoot and the got in the shower, I left footprints.

The beds are hard as a rock-I got no sleep at all. The TV was not functional at all-it wouldn’t ever leave the guide screen no matter what we tried. The room was dirty. The whole night sucked.

The room was terrible. The bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable and the pillows were lumpier than the bed. The room we were in had fleas I had flea bites on both hands and so did my husband when we woke up. My sister n law woke up with a flea on her sheet. Worse night ever. We will not.be going back there

The bed was super comfortable and the place is clean, just smells weird and my air conditioner did not work well. This is our 2nd stay here so for the money it is good! The breakfast is your typical breakfast with cereal, sausage, eggs, gravy biscuits, etc.

Staff person behind the desk was clearly under the Influence when we checked in, but did her best to be professional and friendly. The room that was supposedly set aside for us was "dirty" even though we arrived at 10:00 at night, so we had to be given a different room, so the air conditioning had nothing turned on(in late July) and it was over 80° in the room. Overall, the room was still a decent value for the money, and these types of issues might not occur every visit.

We just stopped in for the night. Check in took a while and it wasn’t even busy. The lock on our room was broken, so we just used the safety bar to keep the door shut. The beds were lumpy. However, we were so tired from driving, we didn’t care. The place was quiet and the area was safe. We did get a good night’s rest.

Great place to stay especially if you like antiques this property is surrounded by the best antique stores in the area. 1 and only thing that could be better is breakfast it was sub par but at least they had breakfast.

This location is between Springfield & Branson. It is dated but if you are looking for a clean space to sleep you are good here. Breakfast was what you would expect at hotel continental. Muffins, breads, waffles, eggs & sausage. Terrible coffee but that because I am high maintenance in that arena! Close enough to convince stores, Walmart & a Starbucks. Room was clean, dated, slightly musty and the air conditioning was hella loud. One flight of steps won’t break the rating- the ice machine is in the hallway and given it was Memorial Day it was used and loud next to the room. Again, who can be mad when people are gearing up for a fun day with patriotism’s. If you need a place in this exact area the selection is limited but this was a solid option. Pool was in use and it looked clean.

This location is between Springfield & Branson. It is dated but if you are looking for a clean space to sleep you are good here. Breakfast was what you would expect at hotel continental. Muffins, breads, waffles, eggs & sausage. Terrible coffee but that because I am high maintenance in that arena! Close enough to convince stores, Walmart & a Starbucks. Room was clean, dated, slightly musty and the air conditioning was hella loud. One flight of steps won’t break the rating- the ice machine is in the hallway and given it was Memorial Day it was used and loud next to the room. Again, who can be mad when people are gearing up for a fun day with patriotism’s. If you need a place in this exact area the selection is limited but this was a solid option. Pool was in use and it looked clean.

Great place to stay especially if you like antiques this property is surrounded by the best antique stores in the area. 1 and only thing that could be better is breakfast it was sub par but at least they had breakfast.

The location is off the highway so it was very quiet. The room was very spacious. The beds were comfortable. The pool was amazing we spent a few hours in the hot tub. The breakfast was good. Hotel staff was nice

This hotel room needed a remodel. Mattress was old , pillow’s lumpy and just dingy. Room smelled of strong chemical cleaning Breakfast was advertised as great. It was not. Breads were stale. Unappealing The man checking us in was unfriendly. The next morning the man at the desk did greet us.

The breakfast was no5 cooked well, biscuits hard, always out of coffee, no healthy choices like oat meal, yougurt. No boiled eggs. Fruit was old no bananas. Our room smelled of old cigarette smoke.

Hotel was dated, there was pizza slices on the ground outside the door and the door look d like someone spilled milk all down it…went outside to get belongings out of car and there was a man peeling beside the car..and the ac in the room did not work

We chose this hotel because they have an indoor pool, hot tub and free breakfast - in the price range that we like to stay in. The staff were polite and we had no issues getting our room. This is close to shopping, restaurants and easy on/off for the main road. Breakfast was yummy too.

The person at the front desk said he noticed I booked a handicapped accessible room room with a King bed and asked if I would like to change to a non-accessible room. What he failed to tell me is that I was being bumped from a single King bed to double queen beds. I am 6'3 and 300 pounds and appreciated the extra room. When I asked him why I was bumped to the smaller bed he said he told me. I assured him he didn't and he said I was lying and he was insulted and was a jerk. Truth is he didn't say hello or make any type of conversation or eye contact when checking in. I'd say he didn't say teh to 15 words. Also, they had the AC off in the hallways and in the rooms so when I arrived on a day that was 101 degrees actually temp I arrived to a room that the curtains were wide open and with the sun shining in made the room sweltering. I turned the AC high and left for 4 hours and came back to a room that was still in the uppers 70s. This hotel obviously doesn't care about customer service. The rooms were clean but that is about all that was pleasant about this stay.

There were bugs in the bed and the mattress was filthy! When they took my credit card at check in they told me it was just to take the number and no charge, they put a $50 hold on the card without informing me. I was so grossed out that I couldn’t even stay there!
