Loyalty Inn Maryville

Bathroom was dirty, bed was terrible. I booked two double bed but the room has one bed. Front office staff/owner was extremely rule and did not comply with hotel.com terms about # of pets. Instead of assigned my reserved room he asked to go other place around 12am. Statement was " I own this property & I don't care what Hotel.com says" I even called earlier about my late check in due to travel delayed. Rather arguing with that rude man I rather cool him down and stay there for few hours. I had to pay $120 cash. And it sound like that person did a big favor to let me. WOW !! Not sure why major OTAs still list this properly. I should have read reviews before make my reservation !!

No door on bathroom. No soap no towels. Bed sheets were wet. Room had an oder. I can’t believe that our experience was not refunded.

Room was right in the process of being remodeled. Paint all over light fixtures, bathroom door was busted, bath door handle was in place but fell off in my hand as soon I turned it, extension cords running all over for lights, cobwebs, dead bugs, furniture needed cleaned. Rooms did not look anywhere near s net and tidy as the pics on the website. Pool was not accessible. If was almost like the hotel had been purchased and they were desperate to start making money so they just threw a couple beds and towels and sheets and cheap comforters on the beds. No chairs to sit in, no breakfast offered as advertised on site. If I hadn’t had to get to bed early for an early morning appt I would have demanded my money back and gone somewhere else. The site said it had many great reviews. It could be nice but I think they’re jumping the gun on remodeling and reopening. NO ONE AGOULD WVWR RENT OUT ROOMS IN THAT CONDITION. Very disappointed.

Heater didnt work

This is an older, well-worn hotel in dire need of cleaning and renovation. When I travel, I don't need much, just a clean bed and bath is all I'm looking for. My bed was clean and comfortable, and the place was quiet, so 2 stars for that. There was no housekeeping, so anything needed you had to ask for. The lighting in the room was dim. There was not much room on the small desk/table to work because the microwave was on it. A lamp had to be unplugged so you could plug in the microwave if you wanted to use it. There was no coffee available or a coffee maker, no ice or water, or other amenities. I did notice a single washer and dryer. Only the very basics here.
