Nice clean property with adequate parking and easy access to route 404. This hotel is located about 20 minutes from the Harrington casino and is convenient to downtown Denton. There are a few stores and fast food restaurants within walking distance. The pool is nice and free breakfast is adequate. The televisions need to be upgraded. I would stay here again.

Check-in was pleasurable the person at the front counter was amazing and very very nice. The place was clean. However the pool needs to be acid washed and cleaned. We went down for breakfast and by the time we got there there was nothing left at 9:15 in the morning. And the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

Checked in late at night, check in was perfect. The guy at counter was very friendly and quick. Lobby was very clean and nicely up kept. The room was nice size and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Only downside about the stay for me was the breakfast, the hot foods were just ok. We didn’t go in, but the pool looked like a nice size. The grounds around hotel were nicely keep also. I would definitely stay here again

In our last three hotels we have stayed in, this one was by far the best. The breakfast looked good, but we already had plans to meet family. The beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly. I am not sure what else you really need. It looks a lot nicer on the inside than the outside. The outside is just a bit dull.

Overall the place was great. The only issue we had was flies in our room. Every time we killed one another one was there. Killed at least 10 and they were still flying around.

My room at the Best Western was very clean. The king sized bed was very comfortable and awesome. The water pressure was great and the bathroom clean. At night, the area was really quiet and there were several places to get food. I will definitely return.

Expensive! Rooms were ok. Ours was non smoking but smelled like smoke. Had a coffee pot but had to plug in on the nightstand. Bedding had stains Pool was murky… breakfast was decent. $120 night hotel not the $215 we paid.

I really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Hotel and room were clean, staff were friendly and helpful, bed was comfortable, it was easy to find, good water pressure in the shower, walmart and restaurants nearby.

Drive past this and go stay in Easton, as it is the only hotel in Denton and it shows. The staff was laughing and talking noisily in the hallways, idk what they were doing but it wasn’t cleaning because the room was kinda gross. Stains on the couches and covers. Window shades didn’t close enough to keep the room dark. The bed was horrible, lumpy yet hard in the worst way - I should send them chiropractor bill. Breakfast was a joke, stale bagels and toast, coffee that blurted out of those endemic sludge machines. I tossed it all and left. When I mentioned the horrible mattress to the desk clerk, he replied “yeah, we hear that a lot”. It has been quite a while since I have had a hotel experience this poor. Would have given zero stars if Hotels.com allowed. Avoid at all costs.

My daughter and i stayed here for 5 days while she attended the Ironman in Cambridge. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, overall great stay.... the only issue we had was the fridge froze our food. Would recommend and stay there again !!

The property supplied the basics of what I needed for my trip: shelter, bedding, and breakfast. However, I was disappointed with several of its features. The entire bedroom furniture was worn and in poor condition, especially the office chair, which was torn and unclean. The bed was not well-made, and the white curtains were mismatched, one of them actually being badly rumpled. I would loved to have had a complimentary Bible available, but there was none.

I selected this property because it was the closest I could find for an event I was taking part in at St Michael's in nearby Talbot County. The staff was polite and professional and the room was in excellent condition. However, the room's digital clock was non-functional, which was of concern because I needed a reliable wake-up early the next morning for the aforementioned event. The property location (Denton, Caroline County) worked well for me because of nearby gas stations/shopping & it was very convenient to the highway and main local roads. If I have a reason to visit this part of Maryland again, I would consider staying here.

I was very disappointed in the beginning. I pulled up our front and sat there for about five or 10 minutes watching these four people out there one was very active. I think it was in his red truck. He was going back-and-forth and then there was a couple there anyway long story short I finally went in and I’m waiting at the desk and I’m calling for help and I’m calling on the phone and nobody’s coming. I wait 11 minutes and I walked outside to the door And ask does anybody know where the person is at works here and the guy says I am I work here why anyway I wasn’t a very happy camper then he went in and got behind the desk and he was not very pleasant and all he said we’re gonna help you with. I said I’d like to check in and I give him my ID in my card, but he wasn’t very pleasant and I didn’t appreciate him, making me wait when he was outside waiting discussing other things with other people while I’m in there waiting to get checked in she never happened to me before and I hope it never does again that wasn’t a very pleasant experience he wasn’t very pleasant. Either he said he had to take care of what he had to take care of outside and his truck. He had to go back-and-forth to do whatever it was get whatever it was he needed, but he was outside for like a good 25 minutes at least

Hi, I have stayed at this hotel many times in the past as Denton Maryland is my hometown. Me and my husband were in town for the weekend helping my parents move (I live in North Carolina now) and after driving for 7 hours and helping my parents move in their new house I was looking forward to a good nights rest Friday. When we arrived at the hotel and got to our room and opened the door their was dirty towels on the floor and only one bed was made. Now like I said this is my hometown so I knew the gentleman on duty (John) and he apologized and immediately gave us another room and kept apologizing. I knew it wasn’t his fault so I let it go. I wished John was working Saturday night when we returned to the hotel but unfortunately he wasn’t and the customer service we received that night was horrible. We opened our door to the room and it was clean but we didn’t have any clean washcloths or towels. I called down to the front desk and the man on duty was not helpful at all and had a nasty attitude. He said I had to come back down to get them and when I got back down to the front desk he only had towels. I asked him for some washcloths and his response was “we don’t have any more and I have to wait until the morning”. I told him we use washcloths and it’s hard to believe that there isn’t any clean washcloths in the entire hotel. He was argumentative with me and when my husband showed up he offered us another room. He was so rude and nasty i will NEVER stay there again.

Checked in late at night, check in was perfect. The guy at counter was very friendly and quick. Lobby was very clean and nicely up kept. The room was nice size and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Only downside about the stay for me was the breakfast, the hot foods were just ok. We didn’t go in, but the pool looked like a nice size. The grounds around hotel were nicely keep also. I would definitely stay here again

We have stayed in hotels from Florida to Maryland and this Best Western is hands down, our favorite hotel. From the gentlemen at the front desk, to housekeeping....to the dining area, these Associates do an IMPECCABLE job. We stay there from Virginia, to visit my elderly Sister, and family....and will always ONLY stay there. Thank you!!

The keycard for the room wasn’t working, so I had to go back down to the desk, leaving my girlfriend standing outside our room with all of our stuff. They “fixed” it. Still didn’t work, so I had to go back down. I finally asked them if they could just let us in the room for now while they figure this out. They agreed to do that, but then the woman started helping another person that had gotten there after me. She wanted to check to see that his keycard was working since mine wasn’t. Okay? Can you take care of the person with the actual problem first? So my girlfriend went down after we ate our food to get our card. Still wasn’t working. So I went BACK down, told them, and finally this time they were able to get it to work. But wait! Story’s not over! After breakfast the next morning, we went back up to our room, and it wasn’t working again! So we went down and they fixed it. I’m not sure what the issue was, but it got to be pretty annoying. The staff was helpful, but they weren’t very pleasant. They just didn’t really say much. They would take my card, do something with it behind the desk, and just hand it back to me, saying “It should work now”. Sometimes not even saying that. It was a fine enough stay, but this issue made it kind of annoying. Definitely wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

I completely forgot about the black guy. He normally work second shift, but he’s extremely ignorant and rude. He told my children to shut up then came to my hotel room telling me that my kids were too loud that the people downstairs complained but my phone didn’t work in the hotel and I told him and he said it was my damn problem. I then go to leave and tell him he needs to learn some respect and he got in my face.

Our bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Staff was friendly and attentive, and breakfast was very good. We had to drive about 25 minutes to Easton for a selection of restaurants but found the drive to be pretty easy. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would recommend this Best Western to others who want a quiet and comfortable stay.

Nice clean property with adequate parking and easy access to route 404. This hotel is located about 20 minutes from the Harrington casino and is convenient to downtown Denton. There are a few stores and fast food restaurants within walking distance. The pool is nice and free breakfast is adequate. The televisions need to be upgraded. I would stay here again.

My room at the Best Western was very clean. The king sized bed was very comfortable and awesome. The water pressure was great and the bathroom clean. At night, the area was really quiet and there were several places to get food. I will definitely return.

I selected this property because it was the closest I could find for an event I was taking part in at St Michael's in nearby Talbot County. The staff was polite and professional and the room was in excellent condition. However, the room's digital clock was non-functional, which was of concern because I needed a reliable wake-up early the next morning for the aforementioned event. The property location (Denton, Caroline County) worked well for me because of nearby gas stations/shopping & it was very convenient to the highway and main local roads. If I have a reason to visit this part of Maryland again, I would consider staying here.

Check-in was pleasurable the person at the front counter was amazing and very very nice. The place was clean. However the pool needs to be acid washed and cleaned. We went down for breakfast and by the time we got there there was nothing left at 9:15 in the morning. And the bed was extremely uncomfortable.

My mom and I stayed here for the Dover Motor Speedway race weekend since it is under an hour away from the track, luckily this wasn't the first time I stayed here (last time was May 2018). The gentlemen the night I checked in was very friendly and the room itself was very nice and no complaints on my end. The breakfast choices were good. I would stay here again for another race weekend.

Would have been 5 stars but came down at 7:30am on Sunday to absolutely no hot items available on the breakfast bar. It looks like it was completely clear, cleaned out, and they did not have another tray available to replace any of the food items. This caused a huge crowd in the breakfast room waiting to make individual waffles. I brought it to the attention of the front desk and they told me to knock on the door of the pantry. I informed the person working and they were busy microwaving eggs. I waited 15 minutes and just as we made the decision to leave and go somewhere else for breakfast, she came out, not with a new tray, but just the microwavable container to dump the eggs on top of the scraps of the old eggs. I understand you get rushes during breakfast, but there should be trays available and ready to go to replace.

Drive past this and go stay in Easton, as it is the only hotel in Denton and it shows. The staff was laughing and talking noisily in the hallways, idk what they were doing but it wasn’t cleaning because the room was kinda gross. Stains on the couches and covers. Window shades didn’t close enough to keep the room dark. The bed was horrible, lumpy yet hard in the worst way - I should send them chiropractor bill. Breakfast was a joke, stale bagels and toast, coffee that blurted out of those endemic sludge machines. I tossed it all and left. When I mentioned the horrible mattress to the desk clerk, he replied “yeah, we hear that a lot”. It has been quite a while since I have had a hotel experience this poor. Would have given zero stars if Hotels.com allowed. Avoid at all costs.

We booked our room and declined the insurance. We were sure we would be going. It was our Granddaughter's B-day and very important to us. Unfortunately we developed a bad virus and had to cancel. It would have been very inconsiderate to expose any one else to the symptoms of the virus we were suffering with. The staff didn’t think it was important. We are very aware of the rules with the cancelation policy. All we wanted to do was move our stay to a later day. I thought the fact that we would have to spend additional cash on dinning and anything else we needed during our stay. The decision was left up to the hotel staff. They refused to accommodate us. So we lost our payment. They did not offer any compensation. So we missed the B-day and had to eat the cost. I had hoped the staff would have been more considerate and accommodating. Bad bussiness if you ask me.

My stay was 10 days. Extremely professional and friendly staff. All worked hard. Clean rooms. Pool was nice. Washer-dryer worked out great. Breakfast was fresh everyday. Very good management team running this Hotel.

Very friendly hotel staff and above average free breakfast. Room was comfortable & clean (all I really insist on in a hotel). Very convenient location with a 7-11, Mcdonald's, and even a small thrift store all less than 100 yards away. Definitely a wise choice if you are visiting this area.
