Cocohut Beach Resort Koh Phangan

Nydelig plass rett på en rolig strand , hvertfall i september og ingen fullmåne 😅 Utrolig hyggelig og hjelpsomme ansatte. Restauranten ute stengte kl 21, noe som var litt kjedelig for oss som ville sitte litt lengre, men vi flyttet oss til andre delen og hadde hele området for oss selv og spilte kort noe som var behagelig. Eneste jeg har å påpeke er at man må passe på paraplyen som er på rommet. Det regnet en del da vi var der og noen andre gjester hadde tatt vår paraply og vi fant den ikke. De kom heldigvis til sin rett så vi slapp å betale. Men ellers så er vi storfornøyd med denne plassen og vi anbefaler på det sterkeste 🙏 Takk for oss ❤️

Mi reciente experiencia en el hotel no ha sido agradable ni acorde con los standards de beach resort de nivel, sino mediocre. Si bien se encuentra en una playa poco concurrida (no es la principal del full moon party), el personal de recepción es extremadamente cortante, desagradable e irrespetuoso, dirigiéndose a ti sin mirarte a la cara incluso. El resto del personal sí especialmente agradable. Solo las chicas de recepción son especialmente ariscas, lo cual choca en un lugar vacacional pensado para familias con niños. La limpieza exterior es correcta, si bien en algunas zonas se podría mejorar. En las habitaciones, estando en la playa, habría que mejorar la profundidad de la limpieza, especialmente suelos y baños, que fácilmente se llenan de arena y suciedad. No creo que sea un tema del personal de limpieza, sino del equipo de gestión del hotel. En cuanto a la comida, el nivel es mediocre, por calidad (un 2/5) y por previsión de pedidos (de 5 días 3 no tenían pizza ni sushi). De nuevo, la gestión del restaurante parece el problema y no tanto el personal. Por si fuera poco, sufrí una intoxicación alimentaria en el hotel (solo comí allí por comodidad los 2 primeros días) y la dirección del hotel se negó a creerme pese a mostrar las pruebas del hospital y los tickets de su restaurante. Finalmente, como resort con entretenimiento, mediocre también, con ninguna actividad programada de entretenimiento, instalaciones sucias o cerradas y mal trato. Jamás volvería ni lo recomendaría

Overall, this is a very good hotel for the price (at least in low season) with an unbeatable location right next to its own stunning beach. The facilities are generally well thought out, and would definitely consider staying again. There are a few areas that could be improved. The beach would benefit from more regular cleaning as quite a bit of rubbish washes ashore, and it seems like a missed opportunity not to have sun loungers available given how beautiful the beach is (and the potential to offer beachside drink service). The beach café service was sometimes slow, and while the cliff rooms were comfortable enough, the bathroom was disappointing - especially the sink, which never seemed to produce hot water. Outside the hotel and further along the beach could also do with a tidy-up, as there is quite a lot of litter in places. Finally, the hotel provides four plastic bottles of water each day; switching to refillable glass bottles would be a much more environmentally friendly. Despite this, enjoyed my stay and would likely consider returning.
