Hyatt Studios Jacksonville/St Johns Town Center

We had a long drive from Melbourne to go to the Mayo Clinic. We weren’t sure what the day would hold. We arrived and was told that I made the reservation for the wrong day. It was for the next day. We were so tired and needed to get some rest before our appointment the next day. The person at the desk was very rude. When I explained my mistake she said that it was my mistake we booked through hotels .com and could call them. But she said, with a big smirk on her face they are just going to call me and I will not approve a credit. You will not get refunded for the next day and we had to pay a higher price to stay the night we needed. She was just so mean about it that I asked to speak with her manager and she said the manager wasn’t in and she did t care because it was her, the person speaking with me last day. We aren’t sure how long we will need to stay near Mayo in the future but there is a possible 3 week stay coming up And we will not be considering this property. Last thing we needed after a long drive. Breakfast is a joke. Some breakfast bars and orange juice. The beds are uncomfortable. Too bad but the main reason we won’t stay is the attitude.

Staff was welcoming and helpful. The property was clean and well maintained. I like that the room came equipped with full refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffeepot and all the necessary utensils, pots, pans etc. Would definitely stay there again.

Staff was friendly but we found the room to smell and realized there was a large amount of old, moldy popcorn stuck in the A/C unit. By the time we found it, it was late on our only night staying so we didn't not raise the issue to staff until we checked out so they could take care of it for the next guests.

The staff was amazing! Rose and Mallisa were extremely helpful!! Room was clean and ready early. 10/10
