It was a decent stay for the couple days we were there. The indoor pool is a bit cold with the indoor air too it was a little rough. The pool room only had 3 towels which wasn’t enough for our family and it took a couple times of asking to get any. Breakfast upset my stomach 2/3 days I ate there. The room was nice and clean. Comfortable for our family.

Cons - Bathroom was dirty, had hairs on the counter, dirty shoeprints on the floor, and the tub was dirty. Bed headboard had stuff all over it and room was humid and had a smell. Hotel was very nice and clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. We were disappointed that the heater for the pool was apparently not working so the pool was too cold to enjoy. This was one of the main things we had looked forward to when booking. Overall, tho, we still had a good experience.

Would not recommend. Stayed at this location for a graduation 4/2-4/4. After the first night my sister and I woke up with bed bug bites. When we reached out to their management, all they did was refund 1 night. In addition we established a late checkout of 2pm prior. The day of departure around 10am we get a call saying we need to be out by 12 due to the next guest arrival. My concern is why would they be so quick to rebook this room when we’ve reported bed bugs? Poor management, little care for the consumer.

We checked in and when we went to our room we found a bug in the bedding. We went back out to the front desk and reported this. She accommodated this by giving us another room without hesitation. Other than no body wash in the shower the room was clean, bed was comfortable.

The staff was especially helpful and friendly. Our room was ready ahead of time and everything looked nice and clean. It was very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast included protein - eggs and sausage. I did think the room was small and thankfully we didn't have lots of big suitcases.

This Fairfield Inn is not up to their normal standards. The room doesn't have any USB ports, and the TV is small and not a smart TV. The AC unit sounds like a 747 every time it comes on in the middle of the night. They did not come and clean our room. There are much better choices for the same amount of money in Cookeville.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was great, & the hotel was clean. Our king room was nice, but was incredibly small. We were surprised at how "tight" the space was for a king room. Hardly extra room for 2 people to walk around getting ready. And besides the mirror above the bathroom vanity, there is no other mirror in the room. It would be great to have a full-length one somewhere.

The rooms were not equipped with propee linens for bed. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. I could feel the springs in the mattress. Did not get a good night sleep. Just a horrible experience. Very disappointing because Mariott chains are not usually like this.

Arrived at 3:30 to check in and was told there was an issue with not having enough cleaners so there was not a room available yet. We returned at 10pm to check in and were told they overbooked and there was not a room available. There were several people that this happened to on the same night, and to our friends the previous night. Clearly they are unable to manage a hotel.

The pool room only had 3 towels which wasn’t enough for our family and it took a couple times of asking to get any. Breakfast upset my stomach 2/3 days I ate there. The room was nice and clean. Comfortable for our family.

Nice hotel at a good price. They could get rid of the plastic cutlery and other disposable items in the breakfast area and use reusable plates etc. Other than that a nice hotel.

We stayed as part of a large group for a wedding and loved our stay. The breakfast was filling. The room was clean, but the closet had an odd smell. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Overall good stay!

This property seemed to be in a safe part of town. It was clean and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff for the most part were friendly and smiled. We would recommend this property to other travelers.

I can't speak highly enough about this hotel, the 2 gentleman who worked the desk (sorry I didn't get their name), the peace and quiet, and the location! I moved my son into Tech this weekend, and this hotel was the perfect distance from the college, restaurants, sams, Walmart, omg everything you can think of that you would need. Thank you so much to the head of housekeeping (short, thin lady), and the front desk clerk (one of the gentlemen I mentioned earlier) for letting me check out late. I needed to come back and change after church and I didn't get done with church until 1230. I was so grateful for that bit of kindness shown. Please acknowledge all that were mentioned......preferably monetary. They kept the hotel running and should be appreciated! #spreadingtheword
