Lovely hotel a short walk to town, nice breakfast, which you pre book, compact but pleasant room, bathroom due a make over but no issues, nice staff and parking available outside. Been a few times now and have no issue in recommending. Prices have crept up though.

Old school charm with friendly staff and a small and homely bar which was great to welcome some childhood friends of mom’s. Triple beds were a plus for the intervenerational travelers.lovely big towels!

Noisy with small happy dog in room next to mine. Dinner service normally offered each night not available one night. Staff were asked to hold cooked breakfast items each morning until I could enjoy my coffee, never happened, cooked food always arrived too soon. Shower small, uncomfortable, awkward, water never hot enough. On positive note location by seaside was lovely. One female staff person in particular worked very hard to accommodate guests. No lift to bring bags to second floor. Stayed 3 nights, linens were never replaced, garbage never emptied.

Our stay was great. We were in Dunoon for a show and the hotel was perfect. The owners are extremely welcoming. The hotel is warm and clean, the service is exceptional and the breakfast is fantastic. Definitely staying there anytime we are over that way. Outstanding!

We liked the location of the hotel it's only a short walk to the river,the hotel was clean and well maintained we enjoyed the food and the staff were friendly and attentive, the only trouble was the water never got hot in the bathroom which made it difficult to get a shave and a shower.

My room was very tired and shabby. It is incredibly creaky so you can hear everyone moving about meaning a good nights sleep is tricky. Cleaning could have been better. I needed to leave at 7:30 but breakfast was not served until 8 and no option for a light alternative or discounted price to take account of this.

A long weekend to visit family. Hotel was very welcoming and although our room was very tired looking, it was clean and comfortable. From the time we booked in until we left, we felt looked after. Breakfast was 10/10. We took our dog and it was stressless and we would definitely stay again.

Loved this hotel value for money clean rooms and communal areas had dinner and breakfast the choice was great. staff very helpful and smiling day and night,rooms need a wee upgrade paint wise and refresh grout in bathroom but otherwise lovley hotel could even see the sea at back of property Loved it

Hotel staff made us feel welcome. Room was a wee bit dated but more importantly clean and warm, had lots of hot water and a great shower. Breakfast was fantastic, very good ingredients and well cooked. Hotel situated a bit outside town centre but it is within walking distance. Will recommend to friends and family, will return on next visit to Dunoon.

Staff service was very friendly & efficient. Rooms are a little dated but we had a very comfortable beds & everything we needed. Only criticism would be that the lighting was not great mainly due to high ceilings on 1st floor at front, however we had nice view of Clyde. A fabulous cooked breakfast was included in price. The hotel also offers evening dining but you need to book. Again food was delicious with a good selection available at a reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay & would revisit.

Well it was Ok, but some one had done a poor job at painting as they had not bothered to mask the door handles and the furniture in my room looked poor as there was chips all over the furniture. Also paint on the edges of the carpet, and I did not sleep in the bed but on top of it as it felt like needed to be replaced.

Booked a long weekend away here and we absolutely loved it! Its such a lovely hotel with quaint and interior and furniture. The staff are so helpful and kind it was easy to see why this hotel is so popular. I will definitely be back as it was perfectly located for a beach walk and close to Dunoon highlights to visit. Thank you again for a fabtastic stay

This hotel was very acceptable for a short stay. We found the room a tad chilly. The restaurant was closed because it was sunday which we did not realise ahead of time. The breakfast however, was delicious.

This hotel was very acceptable for a short stay. We found the room a tad chilly. The restaurant was closed because it was sunday which we did not realise ahead of time. The breakfast however, was delicious.

Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Our room was huge and that made the stay very comfortable. The sunrise from the velux windows was amazing.

Noisy with small happy dog in room next to mine. Dinner service normally offered each night not available one night. Staff were asked to hold cooked breakfast items each morning until I could enjoy my coffee, never happened, cooked food always arrived too soon. Shower small, uncomfortable, awkward, water never hot enough. On positive note location by seaside was lovely. One female staff person in particular worked very hard to accommodate guests. No lift to bring bags to second floor. Stayed 3 nights, linens were never replaced, garbage never emptied.

Staff service was very friendly & efficient. Rooms are a little dated but we had a very comfortable beds & everything we needed. Only criticism would be that the lighting was not great mainly due to high ceilings on 1st floor at front, however we had nice view of Clyde. A fabulous cooked breakfast was included in price. The hotel also offers evening dining but you need to book. Again food was delicious with a good selection available at a reasonable price. We enjoyed our stay & would revisit.

A friendly and helpful welcome from Becca who made sure our phones were connected to the free WiFi and also give us directions locally. Parking outside easy. The room was a wee bit dated but they are upgrading. The room was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Usual tea and coffee facilities, free toiletries and the bonus of a bath!!!! Lots and lots of piping hot water and great pressure so filled up in a jiffy. There were chickens clucking in the garden so we had high hopes for our breakfast eggs! Choices for breakfast are made in advance which allows for quicker service and less food waste. Breakfast was served by Marianna who was very chatty and friendly. The quality of the breakfast was tremendous. Lots and lots of choices,served on hot plates 🎉 , big glasses of orange juice, beautifully presented and must be the best value breakfast we have ever come across. Poached eggs are a great test in a hotel and our four were excellent and had fab runny yolks. Friendly goodbyes and we hope to return on another trip. Thanks girls!

The room was clean and the amenities were fine. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly! That was the best part. The only small issue was how dark and small the bathroom was.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Park Hotel. Lovely walk each evening into town along the beach, my kids loved the near by play park as well, and just very friendly and welcoming staff, which often is all that is needed to turn an average stay into a memorable one. Great breakfast too.
