I would give it a medium rating. Which is what I should have expected for the price. It had a pretty high rating so I thought it would be better than it was. Staff was very helpful. They don't provide a coffee maker in the rooms. You have to go to the lobby where they have coffee. Rooms were ok and fairly clean

Considering I only paid a little over $100 for the night and it was a quick nine minute drive from downtown San Antonio I will book this hotel once again when needed

As soon as you walk in, you were overwhelmed by the smell of mothballs I’m guessing. Not sure what that smell was. That area was the nicest of the hotel. Our room had mild Dewey smell. The tub had mildew stains around and rusted spots. The hairdryer literally had exposed wires. The food choices for the breakfast was ridiculous. I attempted to eat a blueberry muffin and it was very stale. Just not what I was expecting for the price that was paid. Would not stay at this place ever again. Would not recommend it to any of my family or friends. They spent the money. Looks like to update the lounge area, but did absolutely nothing to update the rooms. The room was very poorly lit two little lights by the bed and one by the TV just was not enough light. I am not gonna open the window fully on the first floor to get outside light.
