Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Grand Rapids, MN

When i arrived in my room for my week long stay, I was greeted with a dampness or some kind of odor. Something akin to a wet towel. But there weren't any visible. So i put my stuff down and opened the window to get some fresh air, and the screen was broken and falling out of the window frame. There was 1 mini trash can in the entire room, no batteries in the remotes, the microwave was unplugged and there were 4 flashlights in the room,.my guess from the previous stay, which is concerning since the room WAS CLEANED before I arrived. The bed was firm and hard, it made for a terrible night sleep. The one bright spot was the staff. They were super accommodating and helpful. I wouldn't stay again until the renovations are done, and even then its a maybe. The breakfast was non existent. Thank goodness for the Circle K gas station and Super 1 store right across the street. Avoid at all costs unless its all you can afford or is available

We were not able to stay here at all. It was open, when it shouldn't be. Renovating complete ground floor was a horrible mess.

Lower floor closed due to water damage. No notification of damaged hotel. No elevator to second floor.
