Other guests were active at all hours of the night. Constant chatter, children and adults stomping around the hallway. There were many guests that appeared to be living out of thier rooms. Wasnt able to sleep due to many disruptions and loud speech.

I did not stay at this property and would like a refund. It was filthy and disgusting!!! I have no idea how they have 3 stars. The door jam to one room was attached with a piece of wood after being ripped out of the metal frame. Lamps were broken. Window was broken. I was unable to connect to the internet long enough to find a different hotel. Please refund my money.

I came to this place, customer service sucked to say the least, the front desk acted like he really did not care at all what he was doing, then in one of our 2 rooms, we had to change because the shower, and the frig was falling to the ground when we wanted to open it was not working. Then later that night there we're children creaming and running through the 1-2nd floors. And to top it off in the parking lot you had 2 adult/couples drinking Beer and liquor in there van. I just cannot believe what we experienced in this place it, totally gave us the impression of a extremely lo budget facility, if I remember there would be coffee, and some pastries for breakfast WELL not even that. To tell you I will never go there again, and would gladly go to another facility and pay more WOW what a bad place.

Disappointing stay. Check in was easy. Stairwell walk up to third floor - no elevator - was a bit dirty. Bathroom door in room had large crack running across it. Bathroom sink didn’t have a stopper. Hot water didn’t work at all. Cold water leaked in a small, steady stream. I told the front desk but no action was taken. Furniture in room was looking pretty rough. Quiet. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Very convenient location right off VA 29 and close to places to eat.

Our stay at the red roof inn was horrible. W would never recommend anyone to stay there. If we had another hotel we could have stayed at we would have. Or we would have asked for a refund. The reason why I’m saying that is because the first room we had there was roaches in the room. So we asked for another room which we were given. And then that room had bugs in it and when we were going to warm up some food the microwave was nasty and dirty. So we went downstairs to let them k ow someone came to our room to clean it with some kind of fabulouslo. I was really disappointed with the rooms. We also had to clean the filter for the heater because the room was cold. As we cleaned the filter it was so dirty. We ended up having to sleep in our clothes because of no heat. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone ever.

It was okay for the money being paid but the tub could not be used as I could not seal off the tub so the water would stay in the tub. The room is quite antiquated and not up to date.

Good for one overnight and the guy checking me fixed my remote problem with no issues. Curtains.We’re not hung properly and that changed the feel of the room . I would stay again.

I came to this place, customer service sucked to say the least, the front desk acted like he really did not care at all what he was doing, then in one of our 2 rooms, we had to change because the shower, and the frig was falling to the ground when we wanted to open it was not working. Then later that night there we're children creaming and running through the 1-2nd floors. And to top it off in the parking lot you had 2 adult/couples drinking Beer and liquor in there van. I just cannot believe what we experienced in this place it, totally gave us the impression of a extremely lo budget facility, if I remember there would be coffee, and some pastries for breakfast WELL not even that. To tell you I will never go there again, and would gladly go to another facility and pay more WOW what a bad place.

People were cooking in rooms, letting pets loose in hallway, bugs in room, no working a/c, transients climbing through ground floor windows of vacant rooms, abandoned vehicles in lot. Local police had me park my race car trailer at another hotel because it wouldn’t be safe at Red Roof

Our stay was good other then the fact other people in the building were always screaming and there was always cops and commotion but the rooms themselves were great

Disappointing stay. Check in was easy. Stairwell walk up to third floor - no elevator - was a bit dirty. Bathroom door in room had large crack running across it. Bathroom sink didn’t have a stopper. Hot water didn’t work at all. Cold water leaked in a small, steady stream. I told the front desk but no action was taken. Furniture in room was looking pretty rough. Quiet. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Very convenient location right off VA 29 and close to places to eat.

Drink machine has been empty for over a week & both drink & snack machine only accepts card. They never give enough towels we have 4 guest but only get 2 towels

Let me start by saying the staff was extremely friendly and easy to work with. The hotel itself, at least my room, while clean, was in bad need of repair. There were several broken floorboards, the room was dark, the AC made lot of noise and the shower head was in serious need of replacement. All of that I could live with based on the inexpensive rate for me and my dog. The real problem was the people on the property. There were a lot of people hanging around in the parking lot drinking way too much. At least two people slumped over with drool coming from their mouths, followed by vomiting. The police and EMT's were there the first night of my stay. If they can manage what goes on around the property and make some repairs to the rooms, this would actually be a perfectly acceptable place to stay.

As a man in my fifties who has traveled for a living, this is the single worst stay I have ever had the displeasure of being involved with. Clearly , the red roof franchising agreement is not being adhered to. The franchisee operating this location has put it in shambles.It is a disgusting property that is not fit for payment, let alone public use. I would be more than happy to give somebody a detailed description of the filthy moldy non working ice machine, the leaks coming from the ceiling , the filthy shower and toilet amenities and the roaches that were crawling on our belongings. If I Do not hear a response, I will pursue this, as I had planned, from a corporate standpoint, making sure that all Marketing and Operations departments understand the lackluster and disgusting state of operations in your Culpepper, Virginia, location.
