**No ice at all **Dirty toilet -- gray water marks **Desk not manned -- had to call out to desk person each time I needed something, in order to get him to leave tv or game he was doing behind door **Main breakfast items not maintained by staff -- had to tell them both sausage and waffle batter were empty. Gravy was almost like water ** owner/mgt is not PUTTING A DIME INTO BUSINESS

Rooms where dirty,bathroom was the worst,they didn't have sheet to change the bed.The ac didn't work properly because the thermostat was broken,the floors stayed wet from people leaving the pool going to their rooms,no wet floor signs, even in the elevator.

Room was dirty. There was no milk at breakfast and the only choices was cereal and bagels. Also the gym was crap and not in service there was no lights. Crappy experience

*READ REVIEWS, I SHOULD HAVE! The bed covers and sheets were dirty/stained. We had to wash one set of sheets. They would not let us have extra towels. Night host was rude to my great-niece about it. Pool had no chairs to sit in(as shown in pictures). The cold water in bathroom kept running hot. Smoke detector was on the microwave, not attached to power source. The toilet paper was on top of the holder. No treadmill(as shown in pics). Loud music coming from somewhere most of the night. *Whoever answers these reviews will give a standard reply, but obviously no changes will be made!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I like that the property is clean overall. We got a very big room that we didn’t expect. My family enjoyed our stay despite the constant fixing of the TV. For some reason the remote doesn’t work as expected. We liked the breakfast, we had our pool time and the lady in the offce during breakfast and check out was very accommodating. Overall, we love our stay. Thank you Laquinta.

From Chicago to Mississippi Family Reunion trip. I booked 3 rooms one of them accessible. Looks like they are under construction that should have been mentioned during booking dust and working smell throughout the hotel. Laundry room not accessible and woking ice machines was on 1st floor we were on the 3rd. Elevator went out and my Parents in accessible room couldn't move during that time so we missed going out for dinner I had to fine something to eat and bring back to hotel. I asked for a discount on their room for the inconvenience but the owner said it was not his fault and out of his control about the elevators. I understand he didn't cause the Elevators to stop but he could have been considerate that my parents couldn't leave for dinner. The construction was also on the third floor so it was dust and workers in the hallway and working outside the room doors. I called a week ahead to confirm reservations I feel like we could have been warned especially since we were coming so far maybe I could have found a hotel not under construction. Its pretty hard to find 3 rooms on the day of arriving if we wanted to try another hotel. The front staff Erica was the only person that tried to make the stay easier. Although the issues were not Eric's fault apologizing and saying I understand goes a long way. I hope my review is really read and they consider giving me a discount or refund on part of my parents room for there inconvenience. Overall I will nit be returning!

The hotel is nice but the coffee machine still had the old grounds dried out in it from the people before me and the shower didn’t work no vending machines and the best part there was a man who just walked out of the lounge bathroom asking if I was knocking on the door because he was smoking in there trying to start an argument I don’t even thank he was staying at the motel because he started walking down the road and kids running up and down hallway as your trying to sleep needless to say I didn’t get but a couple hrs that night

There were two separate pairs of dirty shoes and half a bottle of mouthwash left in our room, as well as a fridge full of rotten food. The sheets and shower were dirty also. They did not give us the type of room we reserved. Worst hotel stay I’ve ever had.

Dirty, all around. Toilet was filthy when we checked in, the floor in all areas except the entry was nasty, our bedding was dirty and we had to exchange it. Large room but no place to put folded clothing and no place to put towels except stacked on the vanity. Our entire stay we were combatting fruit flies in our room and so were other guests we spoke with.

The bed was comfortable and the cable TV was great. The bathroom was gross and old. The walls in my room looked like they were patched together . The carpet has definitely seen better days. My bathroom sink would not stop running all night.

Got to the room and the linen was dirty with stains and hair on it. I got fresh sheets and pulled back the fitted sheet and it was full of what looked like pubic hair. The wires were exposed under the ac unit. A hazard for little kids. No towels, no hot water in the sink and a kids with a blanket was laying in the hallway

DO NOT spend any money or time at Laquita inn of canton,ms. Checked into the hotel the doors were stand open . There was a stinch in the hallway so i don’t know if that’s the reason why. Got to the room and the floors had not been mopped mud and dirt , toilet had not been clean, sheets and duvet were stained looked like urine / blood. Told owner . He moves us to another room . Same thing there but floor was mopped. He says its normal for sheets to “have those stains” we took pics . Urine smell was in hallway so bad that we told him we were leaving. He says “own all the hotels in canton “ i told him thank for for telling us that , now we can go to Madison. Becuase we used Expedia he couldn’t give refund, contacted Expedia and agents keep dropping my conversations with them. We booked though courtyard Marriott of Madison and had no problems . Clean rooms fresh common areas , well lit room and superb customer service. We had to pay MORE money but it was worth it. The owner bragged on owing alll the hotels in canton, so he should have enough coming in to buy sheets when needed use detergent that cleans and to steam clean carpets and furniture. Just NASTY

First room had a giant cockroach, water damage on floors and walls and ceiling. Got a different room and it had all the same issues minus seeing the cockroach. Beding was stained and had a cigarette burn on one bed. The whole sencond floor stunk.

The room smelled and there was popcorn in the cushions. The bath tub had a slight mold looking around the drain. There was a hole in the wall where there was an electrical outlet by the tv. The bed was terrible. A huge dip in the middle of it. Will never stay there again.

Overall it was a nice stay. The place was clean but you could tell it was remodeled at some point. The hotel is located on the service road by the interstate so needless to say you can hear the traffic every well. Not sure if the building is not well insulated or there were noisy guest. We were on the bottom floor and there was a very heavy walker above us. We could hear every footstep. Breakfast was ok but on the economy side. Room description list hair dryer but there was no dryer in the room. After asking there was a hair dryer brought to our room.

AC did not keep up, was warm in room. requested rooms together as we are a larger family traveling together, rooms were on different floors. Could hear people walking halls, one door didn't shut fully, dirt in corners of bathrooms. breakfast closed down at 8:50am on a Sunday. no coffee avail.

This is the 2nd time this year that I have made reservations through Expedia for the Laquita Inn and Suites and once I arrived they had overbooked and I had no room. Had reservations in hand but no rooms. Both times they blame Expedia for the overbooking. Will not book rooms at Laquita never again. There were several other guest that were in the lobby when I arrived that had the same situation,. This needs to be fixed. Aweful

They charged me $40 to check in early, even though the hotel was empty and rooms were available. They didn't have to go out of their way to get us an early room. The room they gave me was in use, flowers all over the bed and floor and a used condom on the bed.

When attempting to check in the attendant said she didn't have any more rooms, because she had just rented the rest of them to some immigrants coming to the area to work! There were three women there with the same problem. I informed her that my room was prepaid, and she better come up with the room and she finally did!

*READ REVIEWS, I SHOULD HAVE! The bed covers and sheets were dirty/stained. We had to wash one set of sheets. They would not let us have extra towels. Night host was rude to my great-niece about it. Pool had no chairs to sit in(as shown in pictures). The cold water in bathroom kept running hot. Smoke detector was on the microwave, not attached to power source. The toilet paper was on top of the holder. No treadmill(as shown in pics). Loud music coming from somewhere most of the night. *Whoever answers these reviews will give a standard reply, but obviously no changes will be made!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

The manger was very rude.. I had book the stay on Orbitz. Orbitz told me that I could pay at the property but the owner was trying to take my payment before I got there.. the owner threaten to cancel my room after I told him when he first call me that I will be arriving at no later than 530. I was coming from out of town. The owner call me at 3 and said I will be canceling your payment right ar 5pm if you are not here. I said but we spoke earlier and you told me it will be okay at 530 to 6. He was very rude. The guy that was at the counter was nice. Also, my remote to my tv in the front room didn’t work to the tv. My husband had ask them to come and fix it no one never came. I had an ugly experience here. I will never bring my family back to this hotel again.

It was really bad. Bath tub was very dirty and knob to turn on water was broken. Sink and toilet was equally dirty. Television and WiFi didn’t work. Tried calling and physically going to front desk to ask for relief and no one was manning the desk or answering the phone while I was in the hotel. I ended up calling the corporate customer service number but they were unable to resolve this in real time.

Overall it was a nice stay. The place was clean but you could tell it was remodeled at some point. The hotel is located on the service road by the interstate so needless to say you can hear the traffic every well. Not sure if the building is not well insulated or there were noisy guest. We were on the bottom floor and there was a very heavy walker above us. We could hear every footstep. Breakfast was ok but on the economy side. Room description list hair dryer but there was no dryer in the room. After asking there was a hair dryer brought to our room.

We arrived early from New Orleans to attend a wedding tried to have early checkin which was unavailable that was a bummer since we had to prep & get ready as the wedding was at 3pm, ended up going to friends hotel since they were already checked in to get ready other than that quick checkin thereafter, room was clean and really nice I was impressed, spacious bathroom & room, it’s located near alot of eateries will recommend if in the area.

We stopped here on our way to Florida as our half way point. We had 3 rooms, one room on each floor. Me & my family stayed on the 2nd floor, there was an awful smell in the hallway. The bathroom in our room was not clean, there was hair in the bathroom, on the sink counter, the soap bottles were not filled not to mention one of the TVs didn’t even work. There were 2 AC units, for each room in our room, the master area AC unit had no coolant so we were left using one unit. Another family stayed on the first floor, no complaints with their room. Another family stayed on the 3rd floor with no complaints, large & very spacious just a few ants were found in the room. While we were at breakfast, which is more like a take & go setup, there was a HUGE cockroach just crawling on the wall. Usually where there is one there’s more. We packed up & checked out after seeing that.

AC did not keep up, was warm in room. requested rooms together as we are a larger family traveling together, rooms were on different floors. Could hear people walking halls, one door didn't shut fully, dirt in corners of bathrooms. breakfast closed down at 8:50am on a Sunday. no coffee avail.

check in was great very easy. breakfast was fine loved the waffles and coffee. the staff was great and very friendly. bed was not comfortable at all would not stay again due to bed being uncomfortable. i prefer firm this was soft. overall hotel is very clean otherwise only complaint is bed uncomfortable

I like that the property is clean overall. We got a very big room that we didn’t expect. My family enjoyed our stay despite the constant fixing of the TV. For some reason the remote doesn’t work as expected. We liked the breakfast, we had our pool time and the lady in the offce during breakfast and check out was very accommodating. Overall, we love our stay. Thank you Laquinta.

Quick overnight so didn’t expect much. Room was fine and bed comfortable. Disappointing breakfast as they ran out of food by 8am and did not have any coffee. The staff was sitting behind counter listening to music. Not a bad hotel but just disappointing that customer service in our country has taken such a poor turn.

The hotel had an unpleasant odor upon initial entry. The elevator also had an unpleasant stench. When I arrived the room that I had was in very poor condition. The linens had yellow stains throughout the bed. The toilet has these permanent stains in the toilet seat was cracked. There were permanent things in the tub/shower. The curtains were dirty and this was brought to the staff attention. I then reached out to Hotels.com to make the complaint. The hotel manager initially told me they had no rooms and they would refund me & I can go where however they told Hotels.com that they would switch my room. Once they switch the room the new room had a leaking air conditioner so a fourth of the room was wet. The toilet still have permanent stains were steel stained the ceiling in the bathroom have a lot of water stains & what appeared to be bacterial growth. Both the TVs in the room were blue meaning they were about to fail soon. The manager stated he will swap out the TVs, but that never happened. I will never stay at this hotel again, nor any hotel with his name as this has tarnished any reputation I THOUGHT they had!!! This was the most horrible experience I’ve had at a hotel. I wasn’t expecting a 5 star but I certainly couldn’t believe that this was supposed to be something acceptable. I should have simply been relocated as I was very uncomfortable staying here with my children. There were some guys hanging in the parking lot drinking beers & playing loud music until 12a
