Let me start by saying you have to pay for parking, but they have limited spot. The host explained that they have their own private towing company, which is crazy. Additional cars cost even more. Breakfast was very very limited and honestly sad. The oatmeal tasted like tap water that had been sotting out for days and the orange juice was so separated that it was in layers. Ew. The room was acceptable. I had been there before and was much cleaner back then. The room looks dated (carpet edges worn out, bath tub rails a bit loose, bathroom sink has a crack etc ) The staff was courteous. There was a dead bird in the parking lot. Parking was limited. The property seemed nice and smelled clean, however we did find two silverfish bugs in the room. The staff was friendly, however it bothered me, as a paying customer, that a man came in the next morning and asked the front desk clerk if he and his family could eat breakfast there for free. They were told yes and suddenly were in line and taking up table space that was already limited along with all those that had paid for those services.

Hallways and room smelled like dirty laundry. The furniture had stains on it. We were not informed during check in you needed a parking pass for your car. Someone on the elevator told us if we didn't have one we would be towed. We had a very early flight the next morning, that could have been disastrous if we were towed and missed two flights.

When I booked, I made it clear that we were coming to celebrate our anniversary and asked if they could do anything special for the occasion. When I arrived at the reception, the lady there was extremely cold and basically told me they don’t do anything like that at all, unlike other hotels I’ve stayed at. First off, we were initially given room 515, and it was really not clean at all. It smelled awful, like there had been dogs bathing in there or something. We asked to change the room, and they did move us to another one, but the second room was just superficially clean. Everything was sticky—the door was sticky, the chairs were sticky, the sink was sticky. It was obvious they hadn’t properly cleaned the place. Then, when it came to the complimentary breakfast, there were no labels on the food at all. You had to guess whether something was beef or chicken or whatever it was, which was really inconvenient.

Staff was great and Dulles shuttle was quick (10min from calling the front desk). They also schedule their shuttle on the hour starting at 5am heading to the airport. Unfortunately the room is very noisy. I’m not even super noise sensitive but I could hear water gushing through the pipes from the room next door, and could hear them urinating while I was laying in bed. Speaking of the bed, very plush! But that doesn’t mean comfortable. I probably slept two hours out of the seven I was there. Quite literally ANY movement from my wife was transferred to me, making it very difficult to sleep. Probably fine for some, but this place isn’t for me.

The gal at the front desk needs more training and they need more than one person at from desk. We waited over 30 min to front desk. Plus she asked a friend to help her that was just hanging out at the bar area, I ask the girl if she was the manager and she said no I use to work here years ago. Really not how you do business. Not a great experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable so I will say that. They need new management or manager to get things in order.

There was no shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Though I called a couple of times, nobody responed. Later a receptionist casually told me that she missed a call. The receptionist should be replaced because she even tried to argue against the customer. It was a terrible experience. No recommendation at all.

We are regular Hyatt customers. This Hyatt brand was not upto Hyatt standards. We paid $250 for a night expecting Hyatt standards. Rooms are outdated and definitely need renovation, breakfast was definitely NOT Hyatt standard. The receptionist when we checked in was great but the lady at checkout lacked proper etiquette.

After a 12hr flight, my family and I really just wanted to relax before having to catch another flight the following day. When we got to the airport, we tried calling the hotel for the shuttle for about 10-15mins before having someone pick up the phone (no exaggeration). I originally thought front desk must be busy but when we got there, there was only 1 family there and two gentlemen at the front desk. One taking forever to check in the family in front of us and the other just watching.. While the phone was ringing nonstop. The hotel itself is nice but the service is too slow.

The hotel was not efficient in transporting people to the airport. There was a lack of flexibility causing my group of 52 people to be delayed and stranded at the airport. Rooms were not cleaned, even after requesting that they be cleaned several days. The key cards did not work for the entire group, They had to return to the desk to get the cards to work. Several times both elevators were out of order.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel due to the behavior of the front desk employee. They were extremely rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional from the moment I arrived. Instead of being welcoming and helpful, they were dismissive and condescending, making the check-in process unnecessarily difficult. Stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting Washington DC. There is a shuttle that you call to pick up from the airport on arrival and then its return to the airport is every hour on the hour (you book a slot at the front desk). You can also book the shuttle to go to a nearby area to eat. Check in was quick and the member of staff was polite, kind and friendly. There was an issue with the room I was given (there was already people in it) but this was dealt with quickly on return to the front desk and I was given another room. There are 2 elevators but only 1 worked the time I was there (can’t say if this is the norm). It didn’t hinder the stay at all. There is a pool and gym on the ground floor but didn’t use these. In the lobby area there are a few things for sale - some drinks, potato chips etc. There was coffee in the lobby too. Although there were signs on all the floors for vending, I didn’t manage to find anything, only ice machines. The room I had (301) was a large size with a seating area, king size bed, coffee machine and fridge. The room was only serviced once during the stay but that was fine (apart from no coffee but guess you can ask at front desk) The breakfast was between 6-9.30/10am and had a meat choice, potatoes, eggs and other things like a waffle maker. Plenty to start the day with. The hotel was around 10 minute walk to the metro (innovation center) and I felt safe during the day walking there and back. Would stay here again

The property is advertised that it has a bar and a restaurant. They have neither. They have a bar with 4 beer options and you can order some finger foods that the bartender has to stop serving and go to the back and cook. It does not have a restaurant. Let me start by saying you have to pay for parking, but they have limited spot. The host explained that they have their own private towing company, which is crazy. Additional cars cost even more. Breakfast was very very limited and honestly sad. The oatmeal tasted like tap water that had been sotting out for days and the orange juice was so separated that it was in layers. Ew. The rooms are large and spacious, which we loved, but they have old school ac/heat8ng units that took forever to heat up the room. As for amenities, the tv is very old (dont count on a smart tv. Bring a fire stick or something) and there wasn't even coffee in the room. Just two tea bags. The bathroom was extremely small, but clean. And the checkout host barely paid attention to anything. Overally, the hotel looks decent, but is definitely overpriced.

I like the location, convenience, and cleanliness of this hotel. It is well maintained. The $15 parking in a dark parking lot seems a bit much. Also the breakfasts are subpar and the dining area is not monitored and tables are usually dirty.

Our stay was good BUT , they offer breakfast that is include in the price But if they know they have a lot of people they should have and extra waffle machine.Sunday we have to make a big line to try to have our waffle and when we get there it was out of it. Monday the breakfast was SHORT. NO Potatoes, NO bagel, NO wafle. They need to improve on that. My kids didn’t get breakfast on both days .

We were given an "accessible" room for a 2 night stay which wasn't ideal. The pool was good. The shuttle service to and from airport was good. Had no water on day we left, it wasn't off for long, was told there was a leak but sorted now, told reception water still wasn't hot and was simply told to give it a while. No apology! The hotel is good location for using airport and metro service

The staff was great -- but they are in a tough spot. The hotel is clearing aging!! Sadly, it seems management is not putting money towards repairs and so the rooms and hotel in general are struggling. Our room fridge didn't work. There are no simple helps for travelers in the room (toothbrushes etc). The AC units are old and cannot keep up with the heat to keep the room cool. But maybe the hardest part (which makes it very hard on your staff) is there is advertised a restaurant, a bar, and a cafe. I would say that is bordering on false advertising. There was no restaurant. They could make a few items from an already limited menu. I didn't see a bar -- but if it's the bar by checkin, that's not a bar. AND NO CAFE -- again, if the cafe is the broken machine by checkin -- that IS NOT A CAFE!!! I picked the hotel because it was stated to have a restaurant and a cafe -- if I had known, I would not have picked the hotel because those features were not there. If management reads this: Do your staff a favor, put them in a position to succeed serving clients -- invest in repairs to bring the hotel up to a standard level. Management -- if you read this -- your staff looked like they spent most of their time dealing with unhappy clients trying to help them with things that really the staff had no authority to do (like fix an AC, fix an espresso machine, etc).
