The property was nice. The restaurant/bar area was never open. We kept hearing the person in charge of that area was not at work. This was unacceptable!

The hotel was ok. Unfortunately, there were a lot of "hidden" fees that you are not told about until you get there. The hotel adds a $30 incidental fee for your stay and it is not refunded for 7-10 days. They also charge $7 for parking. In addition, there is no free continental breakfast. It is $6 per person. It seems like all this hotel is doing is trying to make money off of you.

This was our second night stay in a place on a cross country move, for the one night we were there everything was just fine. The room was clean, there is a great shopping/dining complex less than a mile away, and it’s close to the freeway. However, of all three hotels we stayed in our on trip - this is the one I was least impressed with, especially for what we paid. We took our son swimming once we got there and all along the inside of the pool was green algae growing. When using the shower the water is either scorching hot or freezing cold. Finding a spot where the water was actually warm proved to be near impossible. And finally, as a paying guest at a Marriott in Texas (not some extra fancy hotel) you have to pay to park your car there. Not the end of the world, but certainly a surprise upon checkin. Overall is worked for what we needed - safe, close to the freeway, clean.

Hello, I work in the Quality Control department of a national company. I booked a stay for one of our managers that was travelling to a neighboring location to perform an audit. When they checked in, they found several large cockroaches in the room. I've stayed in and booked many Marriott rooms over the last few years and I have never experienced this. Luckily, the staff was able to swiftly move the manager to a new and much cleaner room. My intention for leaving this review is that something can be done for future guests of the hotel. Bugs are no joke!

I didn't care for the bug I found in my room or the cricket I saw on the morning I checked out. I am unhappy about the rediculous cost for a soft drink in the little store in the Hotel. $5 for a pop? Really? The room was comfortable and clean (other than the bugs). The road noise was noticable. I dound the hotel staff nice and attentive. There was only one regular coffee package (normally two). This is somewhat better than a Motel 6 but I will look for better lodgings next time I am here.

AC was extremely loud and woke me up when would cut on 4. Charged $7 per night for parking lot parking 5. No breakfast provided and very expensive at bistro in hotel.

I was swayed by the Marriott affiliation. Turned out a huge disappointment. I booked a twin queen with a sofa bed but when I got to check in, I got a twin queen alright and just a chair. Went to complain at reception and receptionist got apprehensive right away. "That's all I got" he says, "I don't have anything else for you". My family and I were tired as it was late. Didn't bother arguing, just went back to the room. The shower pressure was pathetic because it wouldn't switch completely to shower. Lots of water wasting through the bath tub faucet. Valve issues obviously. Good thing it was just one night. Next night was at Comfort Suites Arlington. For 50% cheaper, we got everything we expected to get at "Marriott" and more! Disgraceful.

The employees were super nice! The online pictures were deceiving and probably taken many years ago. The hotel looks nice just not as nice as they made it appear online. My room however had issues, light bulbs were out, door lock was broken, fridge didn't work, and the shower leak through the wall causing all of my stuff to get wet. So I was not real happy with this visit

I stayed in room 202 and it seemed like a gremlin was in the electrical system during my stay. My CPAP machine shorted out, some days my phone would charge some days it would not. I finally had to plug my phone into the tv port to charge it! Though my watch seemed to charge just fine.

Overall, it was a fairly good experience. The front-desk staff in-particular, were great. We were a bit disappointed after having to schedule housekeeping three different times before they actually came to change bedding/change waste-cans. Nonetheless, this was an above-average experience as-is often the case with Mariott hotels.

Property overall was great. Room was really nice! Poor service. Early checked in almost 24hrs advance before my arrival date on courtyards website. Called and spoke with courtyards representative shortly after, “At hotel” I stated that I checked in, “because you know that would make their lives easier, and that I would like to request 1st floor, for personal reasons, and was told absolutely no problem and that I was all set, providing confirmation and name, everything. Arrived at property next day and I spoke with another courtyards employee “a gentleman “ fed me a line of bs, basically stated because I booked third party via “ Expedia” they give out all requested rooms to guests that book directly through them and that we get leftovers! And because of the football games, “which there wasn’t any” there was nothing left for me, and proceeded to offer me a suite on the first floor “with additional cost” I declined obviously, and than had the audacity to offer me a free water 🙄 I guess, after seeing the blood shot eyes and steam coming out my eyes I’m sure he thought it would be a good idea to cool me down but what ever, if that so to be true fine. But I booked my room 2 days advance, checked in almost 24hrs BEFORE check in and called to speak with someone directly! Absolutely unacceptable and very poor customer service skills!

And because of the football games, “which there wasn’t any” there was nothing left for me, and proceeded to offer me a suite on the first floor “with additional cost” I declined obviously, and than had the audacity to offer me a free water 🙄 I guess, after seeing the blood shot eyes and steam coming out my eyes I’m sure he thought it would be a good idea to cool me down but what ever, if that so to be true fine. But I booked my room 2 days advance, checked in almost 24hrs BEFORE check in and called to speak with someone directly! Absolutely unacceptable and very poor customer service skills!

None of staff even cared about anything at this hotel. water on floor by ice machine which I nearly slipped on. Clerk at check in and out was busy gossiping with another worker or maybe someone who was staying at hotel (maybe??) my whole experience was not what I expect from Marriott.

The courtyards is one of my favorite places to stay, the hotel and the rooms are very nice and cozy. The staff is a different story, I’ve been here 3 times and every time they notice I book 3rd party I get treated differently. The last time, I asked for 1st floor, she said no problem, after pulling up my information, her friendly attitude changed, and proceed to tell me, no 1st floor available, and the only one they have is 4th floor, mind you, check is 3pm, I was there at 3:05pm, and continued to pressure me about their rewards program. I think this is something that should be addressed, all people regardless how they book chose to stay at the courtyards and not Fairfield, and if they don’t want to be part of some awards program, everyone should be treated with some fairness.

We would like to thank the front desk clerk who checked us in and thanked us for waiting patiently! She was very professional and her smile made our very long exhausting trip from Seattle a little better! The location was great, near many restaurants and shopping. I love that it quiet and easily accessible to the highway.

The Bistro has limited offerings, but they are mostly enjoyable. Somewhat pricey but it is available to avoid leaving the hotel. Not a big fan of the pillows and you will have to call down for more if you need more than two. There are a few good restaurants near I-20 but too far to walk at night.

The hotel was ok. Unfortunately, there were a lot of "hidden" fees that you are not told about until you get there. The hotel adds a $30 incidental fee for your stay and it is not refunded for 7-10 days. They also charge $7 for parking. In addition, there is no free continental breakfast. It is $6 per person. It seems like all this hotel is doing is trying to make money off of you.

There is a problem with noise inside and outside the hotel - both nights I stayed I was awake from approx 2:15-3:30am with presumably all the people coming in from bars or events. There is basically no soundproofing whatsoever and it made my stay unpleasant as I had early morning work meetings.

Every team member was absolutely, over-the-top, fabulous. At one point, my boyfriend went down to the bistro to see if they had a banana (I was feeling nauseous). The sweet team member at the Bistro said they didn't but that their property next door would have one, and she offered to go get one for him. He declined, but it was so very nice of her to offer to go above and beyond for us. Front desk check-in was amazingly friendly, and when we returned that night, the same person was still working at the front desk, saw us walking by, and asked how the show we attended was and other very thoughtful interactions. The hotel was well appointed, lounge areas were wonderful, workspaces were fantastic, and the rooms were extremely clean, with great pillows, wonderfully comfortable bed. Thank you Marriott!
