The Prairie at Brighton - UF , Pool , Workspace

There are pros and cons here... I'll try to be as fair as possible. PROS: Upkey management was responsive and cooperative and easy to communicate with. The apt hold 4 comfortably. It had shampoo and soap and some other supplies that were greatly appreciated. If you like TVs, they are abundant. There is a pool. It is close to the University and downtown. CONS: The floor needs a really good scrubbing. Even after a second mopping from the cleaning person, our feet still got brown. The welcome mat needs replacing. The back deck is unappealing and the mat there needs replacing too. The grounds are not well kept..there was garbage, cigarette butts, and dog poop along the walk to the pool. The pool deck hadn't been swept..and there was garbage there. There were not enough lounge chairs and the ones there were dingey and old. I also don't like having to sign an extra rental agreement, upload my license, my photo, etc plus put down a security deposit. But that's what happens when you have a rental management company involved. I did get my deposit back in full. We won't be choosing this place again, it's just too overpriced for what you are getting if you include all the VRBO fees. And it's just not a very nice property in general.

Fairly priced fo r Gainesville especially in light of other going's on at the time. we were in town for a family event. The location is good, close to campus and close to a Publix etc. Quiet condo complex. Appropriately priced for the unit itself and as compared to a hotel stay.

Clean place, quiet neighborhood!
