Pools were nice but the cabanas by the small pool were nicer than the onces by the large pool for some odd reason. Bar drinks and food by the large pool were both good and reasonably priced. My room was right above the bar and one night someone forgot to turn off the music lol Other than that one night there was no other issues.

Lots of renovations going on during my stay but no issues from it. Finding a parking spot qas tricky at night. Great facilities and beach access. Not fancy but nice.

There were two pools and splash pad for children, nice loungers and umbrellas with a bar with food. easy beach access you have to pay for your umbrella and loungers on the beach, which was $56 a day. We stayed for seven days and that was ridiculously high so we spent most of the time at the pool and walked up from the beach. Rooms are a little outdated with Matt had a black ring around it, and the floors were not mopped. Our feet were filthy. you must wear shoes in the room and in the shower.

We enjoyed this property as a resort-feel. Two beachy bars and a nice pool. There were a decent amount of children at the pool throwing footballs (could’ve just been more kids during our stay) but the rooms were definitely outdated and slightly unkept. The parking also filled up when we got home later in the evening and we took the very last spot luckily. We can’t decide if we would stay again or not, but the location on the beach was amazing.

This was one month after the hurricane. Incredible job getting a limited number of things back up and running so quickly. Both pools and hot tub were up and running and spotless. Only one of the restaurants was up, but it was great. Everything on the first floor was under construction. Harry's does serve breakfast even though it says it does not online (prob pre hurricane). Beach chairs and umbrellas were only available 3 or 4 days per week, which unfortunately only lined up for 1 day of our 3 day stay. Understandably there is construction everywhere, unfortunately, you hear it all day long. If you're going there to relax....just one thing to note. Mattresses were a little stiff (nothing to do with the hurricane)

Love the size of the resort and the pools are great! Wish ocean beach chairs were free like they used to be. Also, the rooms, mainly the bathrooms and vents need upgrades.

Half of Sirata is owned by Hilton now, and the transition is very messy. There is rumblings of other hotels taking over their other buildings, so they are not updating those. Building 4 is old, one elevator for the entire building and phones are inoperable and not being fixed. One of the beach bars and restaurants is only open Thurs-Sun and the other restaurant is closed. The only open bar/restaurant closes early (10:00 or 11:00) every night along with all fire pits. We were there a week and more than half the kid activities were not happening (no show no heads up), which is super disappointing if you have kids. I’d pay slightly more and stay down a few doors at Tradewinds. Only one of the front desk workers is kind and helpful. One is a huge jerk and the other cannot help with anything.

Well check in was a mess, the room we thought we were getting by the picture on the site was not the room we got, we got a room that was very dated. It was in an older builder and very dirty. The bathroom especially! It had pink and black mold in the shower and bathtub, and the bathtub was so dirty as well. I told the staff 3 times and nothing was done! The towels and toilet paper were never restocked and when I asked they only gave us 2 towels for 4 people and then we had to get more, and it took hours for them to bring it up to us. The pull-out couch sheets were dirty with dirt and lipstick on them and when i told them they never brought us new sheet and again asked them 3 times. Mind you we were staying there 5 nights! So, I had to give them my sheets and comforter off of my bed and I had to buy from a store so I could sleep in my bed. This place is a joke! They charge 25.00 a night for a car, and 50.00 a night for resort fee as well! If you want to stay at the new renovated site, you have to "ask" for it or you will be put in the more disgusting rooms ever! Only reason why I booked here is because my hotel I always stay at is still under construction due to the hurricane and I saw their rooms on here and got duped! This place is horrible! Never go here and a waste of time and money! This place never did any to accommodate me for what was wrong with my stay for what was wrong with my room on top of that! Do better! Calling corporate! I should get my money back!

Our room was not clean, dust coated fans, moldy bathtub, hair on walls in shower, floor sticky in multiple areas, bathtub would not drain. Staff at front desk was very nice and helpful when checking in and out. We wanted to ask to switch rooms but other people in our party had the same issues and were told there were no more rooms available due to 3 weddings that weekend. The bartender at the wedding we attended (Cheryl) was not friendly at all and was very rude to everyone.

Floors were filthy even after housekeeping “mopped” the floors. Our feet were black underneath if we walked barefoot at all. The shower had rust in it and I felt very unclean using it. Even the shower curtains hung to the shower floor and were drenched in water, creating mold. Beds were pretty comfy, I just felt grossed out in that room overall and unless it were veryyyy cheap to stay here, I definitely wont stay here again.

There were a dirty Band-Aid on the towels in the bathroom. There were obviously things left from the person in the room before us like old coffee filters that were never changed. The floors were dirty generally speaking, the rooms were rundown.

The location of the property was perfect and beautiful but the rooms are very run down and pretty dirty. We didn’t have housekeeping when we were there, which speaks to the dust on the fan, the gunk all around the tub, etc. The biggest issue though was how do they market themselves as a beach resort but then charge $40 per DAY per CHAIR on the beach? Just raise the $40 amenity fee (that really only gets you wifi) and include chair rentals. Until then, I’ll spend a little more and go to Tradewinds two buildings down!

The hotel room itself was gross. Our feet were black from walking barefoot in the room. The previous guests items were in the night stand. The shower was so hard to turn on they had to call maintenance. Beach view was barely a beach view. They charge you an extra $50 a day a checking in on top of resort fees. There was nothing spectacular about the resort to charge resort fees! Nothing was included with your stay! Id definitely search else where when returning to St.Pete Beach!!

Good resort there's two bar/restaurant inside with more outside within walking distance. Clean staff friendly. What I didnt like, we staued in bldg. 4 which needs a little upgrading especially front doors to rooms & sliding doors to balcony very hard to open, need to be replaced, other than that I would definitely go back.

The resort is in the middle of a remodel to become a Hilton The areas that are done look good. We stayed in part of the "old Sirata" that will eventually be torn down, and you could tell. We didn't realize there was a difference in booking. Our experience was just "ok". I would not stay in the old part again.

Nice location, great beach, very clean rooms, will be really nice after all the renovation is complete. Just a lot of building work being done and the room we were in was dated so it is understandable that the hotel is being renovated. Sirata should disclose that the hotel is under renovation.

We've been going to the Sirata for years. This year we had an oceanfront room. The room and view were great, the bathroom was tiny but functional. The food and drinks are great at both restaurants. The beach is beautiful. It is very walkable to fun bars and restaurants. It is a decent value for the beach. Overall an great stay.

The beach is beautiful. It is very walkable to fun bars and restaurants. It is a decent value for the beach. Overall an great stay.

We had an ocean front room. The room was fantastic. The only problem was they built a two story building right in front of our rooms. So yes, we could see the ocean, but we had to overlook the rooftop of the building in front of us. It was also very loud all the time to sit out on your balcony because the air conditioners on the roof were always going. Everything else was very nice.

Sherry was a pleasure at the front desk. Made our stay experience extremely relaxing. Check in was a breeze, the pool staff were super polite and drinks came quickly! We decided we needed another day and Sherry made things happen. Great time, thank you Sirata.

Paid initial payment through Expedia and had balance “pay at property “. When we arrived earlier for check in I was advised that full payment for stay had to be paid and the first payment was a deposit of one night stay in case we didn’t show up and would be held until after check out on 04/11 and then credited back ( it’s 04/17 and have not seen a return to date) Resort check in time is 4pm and we were advised that we would be notified if room was ready early.. at 4:15 we had to go back to desk to see what happened. We were advised that room was cleaned but needed to be checked by staff. 4:35 we got into room. Next morning just before 9am we were greeted with heavy construction noise on rooms just below us ocean view. There was no mention of this at check in and they continued each day 9-5. Housekeeping was marginal at best and we decided not to have them clean and did it ourselves after it took the single lady 8 hours to clean 5 rooms. Positive side is that if/when construction finishes in 6 months or so and they hire more housekeeping it will be a decent place to stay, for us we won’t take the chance again.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Sirata Resort. Our room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The entire facility is lovely and the staff are both gracious and helpful. The location is ideal for sightseeing trips and the white sand beach is perfect. Would highly recommend the Sirata Resort.

When we checked in, it took five different rooms before we finally settled into one for the night. I want to start by saying the young woman working at the front desk was incredibly kind and had excellent customer service. She was clearly very new, but did everything she could to make things right each time. None of the issues were her fault, and she handled a tough situation with a lot of grace. That said, I would absolutely not recommend staying in Building 4. One of the main reasons we booked the Sirata was because I got married here a few years ago. We were familiar with the resort and chose it again for a short weekend girls trip, hoping for a safe and comfortable experience. Unfortunately, Building 4 did not live up to that. The first room had cockroaches, and the second room smelled terrible and clearly had not been cleaned. It felt like housekeeping was lacking all weekend. Once we were moved to a remodeled building, things improved. While there were still a few small issues, we were able to laugh them off. The front desk employee truly made it right and upgraded us to a much better room that we enjoyed. One thing to note: the following morning, another staff member mentioned nothing about a credit being issued for the inconvenience, so we didn’t even know about it until we checked out. That would’ve been helpful to know while we were still there. Also, our room was never cleaned during our entire stay even though we called twice to request housekeeping

We had stayed at Sirata a few years ago and it was one of our favorites. This time was disappointing. They tacked on a $40 resort fee per day, but parts of the amenities were closed all week, we only had one working elevator, and housekeeping was hit or miss. They also put $50 per day hold on your credit card . This place nickle and dimes you to death .There was construction going on all week and it was a mess. Feel like we shouldnt have had to pay the resort fees. Also we were put in the farthest building from everything and there was only a couple more people even in our building. The parking lot was empty but we were charged $25 per day to park ? The beach was great as it always is but for the money I will try to find another place for our stay next time

I’ve stayed at Sirata 6–7 times over the past 10 years, and it’s usually great—but this most recent visit fell far short. Our room didn’t appear properly cleaned. The beds were made, but the floor, tub, and bathroom were noticeably dirty. We were also placed between rooms with older kids who ran between rooms, drank, and made noise outside our door until 3 a.m. After a sleepless night, we moved to a higher floor—losing our balcony. In the new room the sofa bed was broken, slanted, had a stained mattress, and came with no bedding. Getting bedding took over an hour. Staff said it couldn’t be provided at the desk but never delivered it, and I had to go back down to get it myself. The staff was rude, and the front desk phone was always busy. When it rained, water leaked through the exhaust fan in the ceiling. The property overall felt neglected: used vapes and soda cups stayed in elevators for days, and bags of mulch sat untouched in common areas. Sadly, we won’t be returning to Sirata. It’s disheartening to see the decline in cleanliness, service, and professionalism—especially with rising prices. We’ve made great memories here, but next time, we’ll stay elsewhere, like Tradewinds.

The property looked run-down from the moment we arrived, and the lobby felt muggy and lifeless—not welcoming at all. While we understand the resort is recovering from hurricane damage, that reality isn’t reflected in the advertising, which felt misleading. Our room was spacious but very dated and felt stuffy. The overall vibe of the resort was tired, and several advertised amenities were either unavailable or not as described. Staff interactions were average at best—no warm hospitality or energy you’d expect from a beachfront resort. While we made the best of it, this was not the beach resort experience we were hoping for. Disappointing stay and not one we’d recommend for a special occasion.

I liked the easy close parking to the building. I liked the beachside pool. I liked the full kitchen, so I could put all our food & leftovers in the frig. The hot tub was not working properly (the jets kept turning on & off randomly). The location is close to everything on the strip. SR 669 is minutes away to take you into St Pete interior communities.

The Sirata Beach Resort is a staple in the St. Pete Beach area. We don't live to far away and stay here when we can. Always a clean room and direct access to the beach. Food is good, and you have plenty of choices for other restaurants that are close by. The staff was friendly, and check-in was easy.

The Sirata was a great place to stay! The beach access was amazing - so quiet. Roland was super nice and helpful getting us set up to watch some amazing sunsets. We cant wait to go back!

Resort is located on a busy main road. We had a deluxe king suite which was nice. Friends had a double queen room which was a small space with a poor bathroom. Hallways outside our room had nasty stained carpet. Resort has two pools that were clean. Beach around the resort was dirty with unclean sand. Facility restaurant/bar closed at 10pm & there is not much around the resort to do. I will not stay in the area again.

Pools were nice but the cabanas by the small pool were nicer than the onces by the large pool for some odd reason. Bar drinks and food by the large pool were both good and reasonably priced. My room was right above the bar and one night someone forgot to turn off the music lol Other than that one night there was no other issues.

Great location right on the beach, two pools were very nice, convenient bar and restaurant. We loved the suite rooms for our large family. The restaurant is very slow at lunch and evening time, but fast for breakfast. The food is fine for daytime snack, but take advantage of great restaurants in St Petes for dinner.

Rooms were nice, but dated including a 1980's microwave (there was a new one on the kitchen counter). Plus was a full size refrigerator. They have 2 restaurants/ beach bars, but only 1 was open. Service was very slow due to the 1 that was opened being packed. Food was so so. Only real negative was a substantial daily resort fee that got you free beach towels. 2 loungers and an umbrella on the beach will set you back another $40 a day. Other places in St Pete they are included in the resort fee.

Hotel was nice. Room was comfortable, location was close to restaurants/stores and beach was very nice. Crabby Bills and Rick's Reef were two good places to eat. Hotel restaurants were not great. Had the Grouper for dinner at Rum Runners and it was dry. Also had dinner at Harry's Beach Bar and food was cold. Both restaurants took a while to get food and there were not many people eating at those times. Id go elsewhere for food as there are many other places nearby. Hotel was a great stay and staff was extremely nice. Restaurants not that great.

Sirata St. Pete Beach is a good, economical place to stay with a beautiful beachfront location and relaxing atmosphere. However, the experience could be greatly improved with better customer service, especially at the front desk, where communication and helpfulness were lacking. The music selection throughout the resort could be more diverse to appeal to a wider range of guests. Also, both bars offer the same limited food menu, which becomes repetitive during longer stays. Adding variety would make a big difference. Overall, it’s a solid choice for the price, but there’s definitely room for improvement in guest experience.

Still a lot of work after major hurricane left to do. We had good stay. Housekeeping was pleasant. I am going to focus on positive experiences and let resort recover and be as Beau as it used to be before damage. Rum runner breakfast, dinner and drinks were good. Fair pricing- no complaints.

Main restaurant was closed. Rum runners and Harry’s have the exact same menu and all the food is actually terrible, tried so many menu items. Rooms in Building 4 are all in different states of disrepair, from flickering balcony lights to clogged drains and floors that will turn your socks black in 10 steps. Everything closed hours before the advertised time, couldn’t even get mid food at Harry’s after 3 on a weekday or even a drink after 4. Definitely should have gone to the tradewinds next door instead.

The utensils in the kitchen only consisted of 3 forks and 2 knives. There were strands of hair on the plates. The towel bar was hanging out of the wall on one side. The beach bar was supposed to be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It never opened. The cops showed up due to out of control guests. The Sirata used to be a beautiful resort…will never stay there again.

Our stay at St. Pete Shores Hotel was a mix of disappointment and pleasant surprises. The property did not look like the pictures advertised on the website. I’m not sure if the photos were taken before the hurricane, but they did not accurately represent the current condition of the hotel and felt misleading. When we first arrived, we thought we were pulling into a beautiful beachfront resort, but once we found St. Pete Shores, the difference was noticeable. The bright yellow buildings and dated exterior were not what we expected. We arrived around 7:00 p.m. after an almost eight-hour drive and discovered the front desk was already closed. This was not communicated beforehand. I had to call the hotel, and the gentleman directed us to the Sirata Beach Resort front desk, which shares the same parking lot, to complete check-in. While he was helpful, this unexpected step after a long drive was frustrating. Our first impression was concerning, especially after seeing the older appearance of the property and reading mostly negative Google reviews. However, once we got into our room, we were pleasantly surprised. Yes, the hotel is dated and could use renovations, but the room was clean, comfortable, and met our needs. The location is the hotel’s biggest advantage. Being right on the beach was amazing, the pools were enjoyable, and the restaurant was great. We also overheard staff discussing upcoming renovations. Go with realistic expectations, and you may enjoy your stay.
Our stay at St. Pete Shores Hotel was a mix of disappointment and pleasant surprises. The property did not look like the pictures advertised on the website. I’m not sure if the photos were taken before the hurricane, but they did not accurately represent the current condition of the hotel and felt misleading. When we first arrived, we thought we were pulling into a beautiful beachfront resort, but once we found St. Pete Shores, the difference was noticeable. The bright yellow buildings and dated exterior were not what we expected. We arrived around 7:00 p.m. after an almost eight-hour drive and discovered the front desk was already closed. This was not communicated beforehand. I had to call the hotel, and the gentleman directed us to the Sirata Beach Resort front desk, which shares the same parking lot, to complete check-in. While he was helpful, this unexpected step after a long drive was frustrating. Our first impression was concerning, especially after seeing the older appearance of the property and reading mostly negative Google reviews. However, once we got into our room, we were pleasantly surprised. Yes, the hotel is dated and could use renovations, but the room was clean, comfortable, and met our needs. The location is the hotel’s biggest advantage. Being right on the beach was amazing, the pools were enjoyable, and the restaurant was great. We also overheard staff discussing upcoming renovations. Go with realistic expectations, and you may enjoy your stay.
