Wonderfully kind and patient staff. Clean room. All the basics included: fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The parking lot had left something to be desired with deep potholes which looked like mere puddles. Blow dryer was partially melted - made me concerned about safety.

Very nice. Everything we needed for our evening. The room had a refrigerator that was already cold and ready for the items we had. Ice machine worked well and beside ice maker a coin operated washing machine. The room had usb plug-ins attached to lamps. Microwave and a small by-the-cup coffee machine with 3 pods of coffee. The bed was so comfy! Room clean, simply and just nice.

This is just an average off the hiwy place to stay if you need a room for the night----there are fast food places nearby. Parking is a bit tight. No morning coffee avail in lobby

I loved the location, and for the most part the room was clean. The bed was super comfy and I loved the shower. Honestly one of the best hotel showers I have had! (Bathroom was super clean which was nice) No breakfast which sucked and we couldn't access the ice machine/laundry due to staff not being around to get the access code.

It's a "value" proposition, right on 101. The people on staff there, including room cleaners were very friendly and helpful. Its entry/registration area is designed for those arriving on 101S, so it requires a turn-around unless you spot it inadvance and move into the center turn lane when traveling on 101N.

Hotel was very clean, cleanest I have seen in a while. Staff was extremely friendly. Even told me a spot to head to around town, haunted lighthouse! The bed was pretty comfy, not the best and not the worst. All in all, would definitely stay again.

The carpet in our room was absolutely dirty, disgusting and was so dirty that it would make the bottoms of iur feet black. It also felt sticky when we walked on it. Our bed sheet had a stain on it and we had to ask for new/clean one. Also, our room stunk like wet dog.

This is a budget motel and is perfectly fine as long as your expectations align with reality :-) The traffic noise from the highway was noticeable--earplugs were helpful. The shower was excellent and most surfaces have been recently updated, except the carpet. The carpet in my room was fairly old and had several stained spots. There was a small tear in a pillow case and a stain on a sheet.

The Travelodge in Newport is easy to find as it’s right along 101. But getting into the parking lot feels like a chore as you hold up traffic in any vehicle bigger than a sedan. Our room was right next to the front desk area. And on the bottom floor. We unfortunately rented a room on a hot day. No AC in the room. But for our single overnighter, we were not looking for much. We had a king sized bed. And a fridge. It worked out nicely. Clean too.

The shower in our room was taped & was broken but it was still usable. Decent water pressure, great temperatures. The way the shower rod was placed, the bathroom floor got soaked. You can hear all your neighbors. Overall, the room presented clean and smelled clean.

FOR THE PRICE I THINK IT IS GOOD ESPECIALLY IF YOU JUST NEED A PLACE TO SLEEP. MY ONLY CONCERN IS PRIVACY. I MEAN WE CAN HEAR WHATEVER NEXT DOOR GUEST ARE DOING AND NOT PLEASANT TO THE EAR AND THE PEOPLE ON TOP OF US WE CAN HEAR THEIR LOUD FOOTSTEP. PROBABLY WE WERE JUST LUCKY THAT THE SOUND PROOF IN OUR ROOM NEEDS SOME FIXING :)

We were in a bind when traveling with two of couples and this motel had rooms available. Since we were all seniors the clerk was able to get us ground floor rooms. He was very helpful and accommodating.

Check-in was a breeze. The room was spotless and Alex, the manager, is a gem! We stayed in an ADA room and the bathroom was HUGE! We will definitely be back.

No food options at the lodge. Doors were locked so the lobby was closed. Arrived at 4pm and the room was not ready. Burger King and mc Donalds is right there which is where i had to go to get coffee.

We showed up about 3:20 (check in starts at 3) and we were told they were short staffed so the room wasn’t ready. The manager asked us to come back in an hour to an hour and a half. Went back at 4:30, we were able to check in but we were told the room still wasn’t ready so we had to wait outside. We didn’t get in our room until about 5:30. We were in our room and some random person opened our door. The manager messed up and gave them keys to our room. The man was saying we were in his room, we said it was our room. We called the manager, she was very rude on the phone. Just raised her voice and said “sorry, I’m fixing it” and hung up. The phone in the room didn’t work. Oh and there was no hot water. And I mean no hot water. This wasn’t a you need to let it warm up situation. There was just not hot water. Again, called the manager. She said she didn’t know why but give her 30 mins to look into the problem. Never heard from her again, checked the water multiple times into the evening and never had hot water. Terrible stay. Would not recommend.

Service and personality of management were horrible. The lady who was working acted like we were putting her out of her way because we were there. Ended up staying elsewhere with better rooms and service.

Beware! This was the worst travel experience we've ever had. Manager was handing out keys to other people's rooms, cancelling room key active dates, closed during the afternoons, asking for information already provided online saying she needed it any anyway, seemed oblivious about how their website works and we kept receiving identical email notices repeating up to 6 times with no reply needed. We walked into our room to find someone with our room key who was not invited! This is a terrible place to stay and we fear loss of identity and credit card information.

Nicer than I expected. I thought it would be noisy at night because the property is right off Hwy101. However, it was quiet at night. Room was updated and the staff friendly. Convenient location.

Front desk personnel were polite, efficient and helpful. Location is ideal along the coast, close to Newport Bay area (Southbound) and a short, beautiful drive north to Depoe Bay. Numerous sto.res and restaurants close by as well.

In a pinch it’s ok for the price , I was alone woman with small kids and felt safe , I drove to a spot close by and had my kids play at the ocean , it’s was very central to everything

No food options at the lodge. Doors were locked so the lobby was closed. Arrived at 4pm and the room was not ready. Burger King and mc Donalds is right there which is where i had to go to get coffee.

The staff at the Newport Travelodge are wonderful. Room very spacious, quiet even though it’s on Hwy 101. Bed very comfortable, nice linens, pillows. A surprise grab and go little breakfast (fresh fruit, granola bars, coffee, tea, juice…) Convenient and pleasant!!

Horrible continental breakfast!!! Telephone didn't work No air conditioner Fan was dirty Light above one of the beds didn't work Sheets did not look as though they were cleaned - they certainly were very wrinkled. I will never stay in another Travelodge

Good budget hotel for the area, nothing fancy but clean, affordable, and in a convenient location. Heard no noise from the highway but our heater was very loud. It didn’t bother us once we got used to it but could be an issue for sensitive sleepers. The muffins and cereal bars were appreciated in the morning as a quick bite to start the day.

Convenient for one night when on a road trip on the Oregon coast. Lean room and comfortable bed. Friendly staff at the front desk. Poor breakfast.

Worst hotel experience I've had in all my years traveling. First of all, with 2 beds in the room we hardly had room to move around each other, we were so cramped. Beds not comfortable but the worst was non-existent AC. I don't know if you've ever tried to sleep in a hot room but it's damn near impossible. Opening a window didn't help as traffic noise from Hwy 101 was too loud to sleep. Plus people walking past our room talking was annoying. Our room was near a handicapped parking spot which was used by a family driving a super loud 1 ton truck. I walked around it and saw no disabled placards. So management was not monitoring the parking. I'm glad I don't require a handicapped spot because this able bodied family took it all 3 days we were there. There was no breakfast or breakfast items besides little granola bars. There may have been apples but these were all gone by 9:30am. Tried to make coffee but the creamer came out of the package in clumps. Had probably been there for years. And no changing of linens or maid service for a 2 night stay. We almost went to a different hotel for our 2nd night but since I had paid a lot of money for this dumpy 2 star motel and I didn't want to lose it. I highly suggest you pay more for a better hotel - there are many in the area. I wish I had.

The hotel room was clean. The desk manager was a very angry human. His argumentative personally made it uncomfortable to stay at the hotel. The other staff were quite friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were closed all but 1 day of my stay.

It’s a two star hotel on Hwy 101 in a busy area as you enter Newport. In my opinion, a lot of money for a 2 star hotel that didn’t let you check in early (even though 3/4 of the rooms were available) and the ice machine was inaccessible due to an “issue with the door lock”. Was the room clean? Yes. Was the front desk clerk friendly? Yes. Would I stay here again? No.
