This was the largest room overlooking a lake that I've ever stayed in. You could put a small flock of sheep and not reach the bed My onlyshortcomingis the breakfast buffet. Not up to the level of other hotels I've been at. If planning a visit to Hallstatt keep in mind most vendors and restaurants do NOT take credit cards; cash only. Still a great place

Beautiful Views, but Disappointing Service and Overall Experience The Heritage Hotel Hallstatt offers absolutely stunning views, which are undoubtedly the highlight of the property. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet our expectations. The hotel appeared to be significantly understaffed for the number of guests staying there. Service was just okay, and the biggest disappointment was the restaurant. The dining room was overcrowded, with insufficient staff, supplies, and food to accommodate the number of guests. The restaurant staff seemed overwhelmed, and the service was mediocre at best. Our room was acceptable, but the walls were noticeably dirty, and the overall cleanliness and maintenance could certainly be improved. While the location and views are beautiful, they do not make up for the lack of attention to service, staffing, and guest comfort. For a hotel in such a spectacular setting, we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.

Ben göl manzaralı ve balkonlu odada konakladım. Manzarası çok güzeldi. Ana binaya 5 dk yürüme mesafesindeydi. Oda oldukça büyüktü, genel olarak oda temizdi ama banyo temizliğine biraz daha özen gösterilmeli. Genel olarak memnun kaldım, kahvaltıda oldukça çeşitliydi. Resepsiyondaki arkadaşlar oldukça güleryüzlüydü.

The hotel was OK! The restaurant food and service was outstanding!! The driver was rude and he appeared to have a real anger management problem!! Very upset at the pedestrians and angrily hit the horn multiple times to get them to move out of the way in a pedestrian only area!! Yes, it is a pedestrian only area! Hotel shuttles are allowed but nobody else. The woman at check-in and checkout was totally indifferent! Most of the people, except in the restaurant, seemed to not want to be there working! Hallstatt is one of the most beautiful areas in the world! The problem is the people that live there don’t want the tourists!
