There is no human contact. You get a code.. you go to door beside an A&W. You go up some stairs and enter the room with a second code. Its very basic, but given the price in downtown Toronto, it was a good place to crash. Clean and tidy. If you know the neighbourhood, you hear the locals all night and there are some pretty colourful characters on the street. Room was small, so one person fine, two people.. probably cramped. Not sure I would feel extremely safe if I was a single young lady.

Bathroom is very tiny, sink is very tiny. Location is decent. Bed was clean, carpet and floor was clean. TV was awesome. No elevator.

The room is very basic, which is fine, but just not worth the expense. The renovations are very amateur hour, if not hilarious. The toilet seat on the toilet doesn't even fit, so it's not attached. That detail alone tells you how serious of an operation this is. Please note that there is no staff on site whatsoever, so you need to be able to check in remotely and may not get in-person service if you need it.
