The manager was friendly and informative. I could tell he cared about his customer's stay. I liked the recently installed heater/AC unit. It was quiet, easy to use and kept the room at the temperature that I wanted. Even though I didn't use them, it was nice to have a microwave and mini fridge. One nice touch was the small shelf next to the sink to set items on. I'll definitely stay here next time I'm in Cambria.

The reason I stayed here was because they are pet friendly. As my dog is getting older, and I will try to take her with me as much as I can. Check in was easy and the front desk person was nice. Thank-you, for being pet friendly!!

The clerk was very pleasant and helpful. He offered maps of the area. We were able to park right in front of the room (just like an old school motel). The room had a good refrigerator and microwave plus a hair dryer. Bed was comfortable but walls were a bit “thin”. We would stay here again.

We stayed one night in room 9. The gentleman who checked us in was kind and explained their hours and how to access the WiFi. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable which is what matters most to me. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Front desk gentleman was really nice. Didn’t realize this was our bed until the morning after we arrived. Take it from me. Make sure to ALWAYS check your sheets FIRST THING. I wish we had or else I would have requested another room or booked another hotel. Also, the shower has a ton of mold. Wasn’t with the 190$. Won’t be back.

This place worked for the night but we wouldn’t stay for an extended time. Room was clean and fine but was a bit outdated, the wifi was on and off and we lost power in the bathroom for some reason. You could see outside through the cracks around the door and there was a bit of a constant breeze. Not my favorite but works in a pinch.

It was a one night stay at the end of a camping trip. We needed a nice place to sleep and be able to shower and get going the next morning. We were in room 17 or 19(?) which is at the back of the property and there was some weird motorized or pump type periodic noise that would cycle on and off, which was a little distracting for sleep at night.

Cambria is a beautiful coastal town that is warm and friendly. The motel wasn't anything special. Bed was OK but not great. The room was a good size and everything worked as expected. Everything except the shower. It seemed as though the low flow shower head had something blocking it so it wasn't easy to get clean. From here you could walk to most of the great shops and delicious restaurants. Good place for a couple days but look elsewhere if your stay is longer.

Got stranded out of town on July 3rd-5th when our vehicle broke down and was very thankful for this wonderful place to stay and the people there who went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The special care they showed our family was a true blessing! If I could give them a 10+ star rating, they truly deserve it!

Stayed here a few times now over the last ten years. Always been a great place to stay. Walking distance to a lot of the town's better restaurants and the Saloon and a short drive to Moonstone Beach and Hearst Castle. Can't recommend more if you're just looking for a clean place with a comfy bed to come back to when you're done with your local adventures.

This is a no frills motel. Nothing special. The family that runs it is very hospitable and friendly. They are accommodating. We asked for more towels and another pillow and they were happy to oblige. It's close enough to town that you can easily walk there. It is too far to walk to the beach. Overall, worth the price.

Motel was literally right next to an apartment complex. But otherwise, it was still a very nice area. Room had old-fashioned wall heater, but it worked great. Very close to downtown, walking distance to local eateries.

This is a nice hotel near the edge of Main Street yet within 2-3 blocks from the top of the Main Street shops. It has a nature feel since a river runs behind it and cows directly behind on the hills. A family of deer walk up and down the road. The room was warm and bed comfy. The water was warm and owner quick to fix anything in the room and attend to us. The parking spaces were wider than normal and easy to park in front of your area. The room was clean and updated and there was a fire pit at the rear with the fire lit at night to hang out. This is a nice and affordable place to stay with very little fog vs other parts of Cambria.

This motel is right at the end of downtown Cambria and is extremely convenient, clean and well maintained. The garden area out back has a fire pit under the tree with a bunch of seats if you're there with a group or want to hang out and listen to the birds singing with a glass of locally procured wine. If you're looking for a basic, nice place to sleep that is far less expensive than some of the surrounding options, look no further. Cambria Palms is your spot! We have stayed here twice now and will be back again!
