Excellent friendly staff. Newly remodeled. Quiet, without street noise. As an older man in my 70s, I appreciated two items about the bathroom. First a grab bar in the bath, and second a taller, elongated toilet. Also, even though this is an older hotel, on the first floor, the rooms open to your parking. Breakfast is simple and good.

The room itself was spacious and I enjoyed having the fridge and microwave to use. AC was turned off prior to my stay and it was a sauna. It took a long time for the room to cool down. The floors are laminate which make it easy to clean up in the room, but make for very noisy hallways, you can hear everyone's footsteps, an underlay would have helped immensely with that. I did not sleep well and woke when others were getting up and out., which was around 6 am. Parking is limited and difficult to turn around in if you have a large vehicle

The hotel is very clean and the room newly renovated. The staff was helpful and friendly. They have made a great effort to make the outside area on the ground floor comfortable to sit outside your room. It was just a short walk down to Trestle Brewing for a great meal right on the water

We only stayed one night. Had a good meal at the marina (Tailwinds). The room was very clean. The breakfast was ok, it would have been great if they had provided boiled eggs, or other protein sources. Would stay here again if we are ever in Parry Sound. It took about 6 minutes to walk to the marina.

It’s an old hotel that was renovated so all the rooms are fresh and clean and new. It’s not the same aesthetics as a regular chain hotel but price was good and we could walk to the docks or downtown parry sound. The ceilings on the first floor were high and simulated wood plank flooring gave an echo, no sound dampening in the room so the tv was hard to hear and the air condition unit was quite loud. No breakfast included that we saw. We would stay there again served us well for what we needed.

It was convenient for access to the Festival of the Sound. But communication with staff was sometimes difficult. They advertise WIFi but it was essentially nonexistent. Sometimes towels were not replaced so we had to to ask for them. They really skimped on the continental breakfast. 2.5 stars at best.

Rooms were very clean. Look like it was just newly Renovated. Was happy to see all new flooring and not the dirty carpets most hotels have. Bed very comfy and bathroom new also and clean.

Right beside train tracks, and you could hear it. Not to mention bad soundproofing in general. Room was barely heated, beds might as well have been made of plywood. Both doorknobs on my room were so battered it felt as if they were about to fall off in my hand. To make matters worse there was never anyone behind the reception desk, so if you wanted to talk to the staff you had to call a number on a dollar store landline at the desk and wait for someone to loaf their way over. ( and wait 10 min) All in all, a terrible value for money. At least they made an effort to clean the room.

The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. It was very close to the downtown and there were lots options for supper that we could walk to. After it was a nice stroll to the harbour!

The room was clean, the location was convenient. When we went for breakfast in the morning and couldn’t find where to go. We buzzed the front desk from the phone on the lobby desk and waited. Finally someone came out and looked like he had just woken up. We asked about breakfast and we were told “We don’t have breakfast” which confused us. We always look for hotels that provide breakfast and I know property included a continental breakfast. Being a continental breakfast, we weren’t expecting anything extravagant but we were certainly expecting more than nothing. He asked us to give him 15 minutes to “set it up”. After about 20 minutes, we went out to the lobby again. Still no breakfast. We see the employee grabbing milk and paper bowls from someone who rolled up in a car outside. He asked for another 5 minutes. While he was gone again, another couple came out of their room and asked us if we knew where breakfast was. We said we were also waiting. Finally, he said breakfast was “ready”. We got into the breakfast room. Set up was 2 cereal dispensers, one with corn flakes and one with chocolate cereal, a bag of milk, powered orange “juice” in a large carafe (Tang or similar), a few slices of brown bread, a toaster, margarine, a few little packs of peanut butter and jam and mystery muffins. The other couple and us kind of chuckled and grabbed a couple of things. To say this was a breakfast is misleading. They need to remove it as an amenity.

Stay was good. It was just one night. few things that should be sorted/updates. Should note that rooms all have fridges. If I had known there was a fridge there are certain things I would have brought with me instead of having to buy the next day. It really shouldn't say breakfast included. Toast and cereal are not a Continental breakfast. And the peanut butter was just a large jar that was used by all. Not sanitary or safe in anyway. A couple of days before I was asked to confirm when I would be arriving. So I selected between 6pm and 7pm. I pulled up to the building at 6:01 pm and as I was parking I received a call asking me to confirm when I was going to arrive. It was annoying. If I had been stuck in traffic I wouldn't have answered and I don't know why when I arrived 1 minute into my allotted arrival time, I was being called to confirm again. There are tv instructions in the room. I followed them exactly as written and they didn't work. I tried a few times and called the desk as noted on the page. It rang a dozen times and when someone finally answered they said they couldn't help and I should call back in an hour. I tried multiple times again and after an hour I called and this time no one answered at all. I tried 3 times over 10 minutes and no one was picking up the phone. So I noted it in the app and within a few minutes someone came to fix it. It was a different setting not on the instructions. Very annoying. Could hear people yelling all night. Ear plugs, needed!

If I had known there was a fridge there are certain things I would have brought with me instead of having to buy the next day. It really shouldn't say breakfast included. Toast and cereal are not a Continental breakfast. And the peanut butter was just a large jar that was used by all. Not sanitary or safe in anyway. A couple of days before I was asked to confirm when I would be arriving. So I selected between 6pm and 7pm. I pulled up to the building at 6:01 pm and as I was parking I received a call asking me to confirm when I was going to arrive. It was annoying. If I had been stuck in traffic I wouldn't have answered and I don't know why when I arrived 1 minute into my allotted arrival time, I was being called to confirm again. There are tv instructions in the room. I followed them exactly as written and they didn't work. I tried a few times and called the desk as noted on the page. It rang a dozen times and when someone finally answered they said they couldn't help and I should call back in an hour. I tried multiple times again and after an hour I called and this time no one answered at all. I tried 3 times over 10 minutes and no one was picking up the phone. We only stayed one night. Had a good meal at the marina (Tailwinds). The room was very clean. The breakfast was ok, it would have been great if they had provided boiled eggs, or other protein sources. Would stay here again if we are ever in Parry Sound. It took about 6 minutes to walk to the marina.

It’s an old hotel that was renovated so all the rooms are fresh and clean and new. It’s not the same aesthetics as a regular chain hotel but price was good and we could walk to the docks or downtown parry sound. The ceilings on the first floor were high and simulated wood plank flooring gave an echo, no sound dampening in the room so the tv was hard to hear and the air condition unit was quite loud. No breakfast included that we saw. We would stay there again served us well for what we needed.

The hotel is very clean and the room newly renovated. The staff was helpful and friendly. They have made a great effort to make the outside area on the ground floor comfortable to sit outside your room. It was just a short walk down to Trestle Brewing for a great meal right on the water

The room was large and clean. The bed was comfortable. It was very close to the downtown and there were lots options for supper that we could walk to. After it was a nice stroll to the harbour!

The room was clean, the location was convenient. When we went for breakfast in the morning and couldn’t find where to go. We buzzed the front desk from the phone on the lobby desk and waited. Finally someone came out and looked like he had just woken up. We asked about breakfast and we were told “We don’t have breakfast” which confused us. We always look for hotels that provide breakfast and I know property included a continental breakfast. Being a continental breakfast, we weren’t expecting anything extravagant but we were certainly expecting more than nothing. He asked us to give him 15 minutes to “set it up”. After about 20 minutes, we went out to the lobby again. Still no breakfast. We see the employee grabbing milk and paper bowls from someone who rolled up in a car outside. He asked for another 5 minutes. While he was gone again, another couple came out of their room and asked us if we knew where breakfast was. We said we were also waiting. Finally, he said breakfast was “ready”. We got into the breakfast room. Set up was 2 cereal dispensers, one with corn flakes and one with chocolate cereal, a bag of milk, powered orange “juice” in a large carafe (Tang or similar), a few slices of brown bread, a toaster, margarine, a few little packs of peanut butter and jam and mystery muffins. The other couple and us kind of chuckled and grabbed a couple of things. To say this was a breakfast is misleading. They need to remove it as an amenity.

Excellent friendly staff. Newly remodeled. Quiet, without street noise. As an older man in my 70s, I appreciated two items about the bathroom. First a grab bar in the bath, and second a taller, elongated toilet. Also, even though this is an older hotel, on the first floor, the rooms open to your parking. Breakfast is simple and good.

It was convenient for access to the Festival of the Sound. But communication with staff was sometimes difficult. They advertise WIFi but it was essentially nonexistent. Sometimes towels were not replaced so we had to to ask for them. They really skimped on the continental breakfast. 2.5 stars at best.

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location could not have been better, putting us right where we needed to be. What truly made our experience stand out was the friendly staff—everyone was so welcoming and attentive from the moment we checked in. Hotel room stunk like cigarettes and the person in the room next door was smoking weed in their room all night. It’s very close to the trains and you can hear them running all night and is super loud. We complained the next day and they couldn’t care less and refused to give us a partial refund as we paid $285 to stay here for the night, which is insane. Do not stay here, it’s disgusting and the hotel staff do not care to maintain this property.
