Desk staff was fantastic. Friendly and efficient. Room was spacious and clean, bed was very comfortable. Great gym and parking was never an issue. Breakfast was so-so, but everything else was great.

My favorite hotel in Baton Rouge. I try and stay here every chance I get. Hotel is really nice and clean. The fitness center is top notch. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I really appreciate Ms Natalie helping me surprise my wife with anniversary flowers!

The rooms are AMAZING! Beds are comfy, no carpet in rooms & even have ceiling fans! The food at the restaurant was pretty good but limited (drink options didn’t match the menu). I will probably just order delivery for breakfast next time as it was a normal hotel breakfast but cost $. Also was booked for a private event Saturday night so we couldn’t use the restaurant/bar. Great experience overall!

Pleasant Staff, Very clean Lobby, room and pool. Comfort of the bed was ok, not the worse mattress, not the best mattress, my only real complaint is shower could use some water pressure and breakfast was just Ok. Biggest perks was How clean it was, it felt safe there, it was in a convenient location. I would stay there again if I’m ever in the area

Upon entry the lobby was beautiful and the initial staff was pleasant and welcoming. I was really excited about seeing the room. When we got to the room it was dusty. The floors were filthy. We couldn’t walk on them w/o shoes or socks. They made out socks extremely dirty and black. The baseboards had residue. The shower leaked when the tub was turned on which made the floor wet. So as the water hit the bathroom floor it turned brown. The fridge was rusty. Area on the floor around the toilet was rusty. I asked for additional towels and was told they’d send em NEVER happened. I just went to Walmart and bought some more. One of the staff members rolled her eyes as we were going out for the day and didn’t speak. Every other staff member’s attitude was wonderful. I really expected more. I was in town to see family and relax, I couldn’t relax in the filthy room. Over $100 a night should at least ensure a mop of the floors. I’m never going back.

Great location! Comfortable beds! Large open parking lot. Walking distance from a few great restaurants! My only complaint was it was a little noisy, in the hallways, at night from people either slamming their doors or just people talking really loudly. But overall it was a nice place to stay.

The air conditioner in the room would not cool the room. It stayed 72 degrees and no matter how low we pushed it down the air never kicked on. We got back to the room really late and were exhausted so we did not notify the front desk because we needed to get to bed. But I would not recommend. Also, it took at least 5-10 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check us out.

The room we stayed in didn’t have working AC and because we checked in at 11 pm after a long day of travel, we didn’t realize until 3 am that the room never cooled. We have 2 small children and would’ve never booked a hotel in Louisiana in July without working AC. Despite this being a huge company and hotels.com allegedly having our best interest, the hotel refused to refund us. Icing on the cake- when we reported to the hotel, they said they were aware of the AC issue and “thought it’d been fixed”.

Was surprised about the non carpeted floor. One of the lamps in the room would not work, however there was other lights that worked. Both my key cards did not work the afternoon of the first day. Customer service was excellent in this situation.

The room was clean. Bed comfortable. Close to multiple restaurants. AC was off in room and was it took a few hours to cool off for sleep. Staff not friendly. Lacked a warm welcome and seemed irritated upon check in.

When I arrived the Hotel could not find my reservation from Expedia which had been paid already for over a month to Expedia. So I had to pay a second time on the spot directly to the hotel. I couldn’t cancel the Expedia reservation thru the app because it was to late to cancel. And to make matters worse I still cannot get a person on the phone to talk to. I will never use a 3rd party booking again.

Property was great, except the hotel over charged me double what my confirmation said. Tried to fix the mess up for 3 straight days but every time the front said it would correct over night but it didn’t. On Sunday morning my bill was double the amount, and the front desk said no way to change it and I would be charged full freight, even though I had email confirmation!! Very frustrating and disappointed because overall very good location.

The staff..from the front desk to housekeeping to the servers for the breakfast buffet were ALL superior, not only at their jobs, but are outstanding PEOPLE. I will recommend this property to ANYONE going anywhere near Baton Rouge anytime...I can't thank them enough...

We were so tired and arrived after a 12 hour drive. Reagan was at the front desk and so bright and cheery. Her personality turned our night around. She was so accomadating! Our room was a little chilly and we couldnt figure out how to fix it. She said she would take care of it. About 5 minutes later, we felt the heat and about 30 seconds after that, she called our room to let us know it was fixed. As a business owner, employees like Reagan are few and far between. Also, the morning staff was very friendly. I feel bad for still being half asleep and not catching their names. There was a lady and gentleman and made sure our departure was a good one. If I ever stay in Louisiana again, I will go out of my way to stay here again.

Great location! Comfortable beds! Large open parking lot. Walking distance from a few great restaurants! My only complaint was it was a little noisy, in the hallways, at night from people either slamming their doors or just people talking really loudly. But overall it was a nice place to stay.

Love this property. It’s conveniently located near where i10 & i12 meet. There are food options and groceries nearby. The hotel is great, very clean, interior building of course which we love. The staff is great, the gentleman that checked us in had a lot going on but managed to get us in quickly. We have stayed multiple times and definitely will again.

The best part of the trip was the comfort of the bed. It's like sleeping on air, but now the food at breakfast was a different story. I wouldn't even let my dog eat breakfast there.

Overall is good. The only deficiency is the breakfast food. It is average for a nice place like this. The sausage patty and the turkey bacon were bad. The scrambled eggs were average. Make the orange and apple juices better. Coffee was acceptable. The fresh fruit was good!

The rooms are AMAZING! Beds are comfy, no carpet in rooms & even have ceiling fans! The food at the restaurant was pretty good but limited (drink options didn’t match the menu). I will probably just order delivery for breakfast next time as it was a normal hotel breakfast but cost $. Also was booked for a private event Saturday night so we couldn’t use the restaurant/bar. Great experience overall!

The property itself was very good. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and shower water pressure was awesome. Very conveniently located as well. However, do NOT waste your time adding on the breakfast option. It is the worst breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. Breakfast ends at 10, so we went down at 9:15. The eggs were so old, the potato’s and sausage were completely empty and the oatmeal was just sitting on the counter (outside the holder that keeps it warm) as if they started cleaning up already. We asked if we could have some fresh breakfast and the “waitress” was bothered that we interrupted her while on her phone. After about 10 minutes, they brought out eggs and potato’s, no sausage. The food is not the only issue it’s the inadequate level of service in the restaurant as well. The server was a tall, thin AA lady w/ zero personality nor hospitality. The lady that workers the bar, at night, is very pleasant and accommodating. Over all our stay was good just save the money for breakfast and hit one of the local places nearby.

Rooms were clean. Staff was nice especially maintenance who visited our room several times because the keys didn't work each day. Come to find out on the last day the battery needed replacement. Hallway smelled of urine on 2nd floor and seems they've added security due to some questionable female seeking companionship room rental behavior across the hall from us, they can't really do much about this. Hate to see it they seem to take pride in this location. I would still recommend though if you're in the area.

This is the 2nd of two visits this month as my son wraps up his time in Baton Rouge with school. We've stayed at many of the hotels there in Baton Rouge & this Holiday Inn has been our go to the last four yrs. It is clean close to LSU & a few restaurants nearby. Even though it's off the highway it is on a road that makes you feel more secure while driving it. Parking has been good. The breakfast is good in the restaurant & the rooms have been clean every time we've gone. I would recommend this location over the hotels downtown actually. If I had one thing to say this go round it would be that some of the gym equipment is showing age & the machines need a little repair.
