Extended Stay America Suites - Cincinnati - Blue Ash - Kenwood Road

This hotel is rundown and disgusting. The garbage room was overflowing with trash and made the hallway smell. I saw a roach crawling on the fridge. I didnt even want to sit on the cahir or put my feet on the ground

No vending machine. Breakfast was very poor. No ice machine. No hair dryer. Will not stay in this chain again.

The building and properties were OK. The room suite was OK or acceptable as well. No ice machines or vending ice machines at all. Ice cube tray in fridge but would have had to wait hours before enjoying a cool relaxing drink after driving 12 hours. The room cleanliness was less than acceptable. We needed to wipe office chair, table, lamps etc. Elevator full of fingermarks, tracks at bottom of elevator haven't washed or vaccummed in very many days. Unable to enter from side entrance as key card pad broken or disabled. Needed to go to adjacent gas station to purchase a bag of ice.

I booked this hoping for warm breakfast. It was a grab and go breakfast. Muffins, Oatmeal, ams coffee. Very disappointed. Also no ice machines on site. The freezer in the room has an Ice tray but it isnt ready for uae until you make it yourself

I had to walk up about 20 Stepps due to the elevator being broke 2 trips with 3 large to medium heavy bags n 4 hanging bags but we had to survive

Clean and comfy room. Staff friendly. Laundry was plus. Convenient location next to restaraunts and gas station.

The property was fine for the price. The bathroom could have been cleaner or updated but was fine for a short stay. The area around the hotel could be easily taken care of and refreshed with some landscaping/mulch, to make it more inviting.

The room qas good and the pricw was great. The only issie was that there were three fire alarm exits required - one from someone burnong their burrito, the other two by smokers who were lighting up within the no smoking borders arpund the property. It would be better if the entire property - inside ans out - was no smoking, vaping, grass, so on.

The place is falling apart. Cigarette burns on the bed, junk on the wall, drips under the sink, broken shelving. refrigerator not working, windows barely hanging on, torn shower curtain, and a heavy smell of cigarettes throughout the building. I left immediately and they refused to refund the stay via the third party app I booked with them. Avoid at all costs or just go to a $30 motel because this is essentially what this place is.

The room was really dirty the carpets weren't swept. Had to get the front desk to clean the carpets.

For your safety don’t stay here. It was smelly, dirty and just nasty. Yellow stains on the bedsheets, pancake flat pillows and the most uncomfortable mattress. Oh and black pieces were coming out of the plumbing. This place should be condemned. They took a $100 deposit which hasn’t been returned. Also there were groups of people drinking and hanging out in the parking lot. Stay at your own risk.

Bathroom was very dirty, toilet had not been cleaned and still had feces in it.

I couldn’t get the tv to work. The guy from the desk got it to “work” but told me that if I went to check the guide, I would have the same problem with it again. The phone didn’t work, internally or externally. Man from front desk said someone had probably unplugged it. Nothing was done about it and I didn’t feel like moving the bed to see if it was unplugged. Also, the phone was so dirty, it had dust embedded under the little, clear plastic covers on top of the buttons. The walls of the shower stall were coated with soap scum. It was difficult to avoid touching them, because it was just a small shower stall, not a tub and shower. There was no hair dryer and when I asked the front desk for one, they told me they didn’t have hair dryers. The fan in the bathroom came on with the light, and was extremely loud. The worst feature of the hotel was the location of the lobby. It was tucked into the inside corner of the L shaped building, with very little lighting. The only reason I guessed that it might be the main entrance was that there were some sketchy looking men hanging around the door. As a woman traveling alone, I didn’t feel comfortable walking through them, so I drove around the building looking for another entrance. If I hadn’t paid for the room in advance, I would have left and gone to a different hotel. Fortunately, when I completed my drive around the building, the men were gone. As I drove closer to the doorway, I could finally see the word “Lobby” over the door.

The carpet was dirty. The bathroom floor was dirty, urine on floor around commode. Asked for 2 beds and the front desk wouldn’t let us have one. We checked in at night and the guy was kind of hard to get along with.

Carpet in room was tore up. What the out you can see the Screens on some of the windows ripped. And no hot breakfast or apple juice.

The pictures did not reflect the true nature of the property. PROS: easy check-in. Very comfortable bed. Windows that open fully. Full kitchenette. 24 hour reception. CONS: Dirty carpet. Odd smell throughout entire building. Shower head detached from the wall. No true amenities or breakfast

It advertised that all the rooms had a standard queen mattress but really they were all full sized. Outside of that, it served its purpose.

Pretty much just what I expected - snug, but adequate - one minor, but very annoying exception - the tv service was deplorable - couple minutes from pressing "on" button until "next" screen finished loading - a similar delay for the guide -& once a channel is chosen, NO getting back to the menu WITHOUT turning the set off and back on, and waiting Again...

Rooms were really outdated and smelled a little musty. First floor smelled like weed. But for the price and one night it was fine.

TV operation is horrible and desk clerk could not help fix it. I’m looking at a picture that is 5” by 8”

The property was okay. The screen in the window was broken. There were some noisy tenants in the room above. Checking in and out was quick and staff were friendly.

The air conditioning did not work at all. I was hoping it would kick in during the night but it actually made the room hotter because it was working so hard. I also found a plastic bag IN MY SHEETS labeled “tip”..which was a first. As a traveler who had just drove 9 hours, I was too exhausted to complain or request a new room. Instead, my hope is that they will see this review and do their best to make the proper changes. The location is great and this hotel has great potential. There needs to be some drastic changes though..

The young man checking me out this morning was kind as well. My only complaint would be a better s better breakfast selection, but for the price, I really can’t complain.

Horrible experience, they canceled our reservation after we arrived late but still billed me for 2 rooms. Then said we had no reservations for the 2nd night but billed me for that. Horrible management customer service who wasn’t even interested in helping me. Worst experience ever, we ended up missing the wedding ceremony because of this. Dirty and unkept property

The First Lady at desk was awesome, second was rude

I asked the night receptionist if I could have a coffee maker because the one I got at check-in wasn't working. I returned the large coffee maker and she gave me a small four cup coffee maker. She stated that's all she had and very rudely ask me if there was anything else?

Called to ask about my deposit and got left on phone for over 15 min heard them talking about everything but never came back to the phone and tried to say they couldn’t find my name no where so I must be a guest when booking was in my name cards I payed with in my names.. mind u this was what I heard them saying in back ground not to me bc they never came back to the phone..

The staff was wonderful to work with and the room was very clean.

The room and hotel was a great value for the price. The only minor complaint I have is the property next door needs to trim the bush by the street because it was hard to see every time I pulled out of the parking lot to go somewhere.

The area is a little isolated, and seems the hotel seems a bit run down on the outside, but decent rooms and nice lobby.

They took Paypal and it made check-in a breeze. The rate is great and the room was very clean, neat and quiet. The refrig/freezer, microwave, and stove top was very handy. I felt very safe. The Speedway next door was so convenient. I will visit that Blue Ash location again since I was able to walk to their fireworks show a few blocks away. The area is quiet, peaceful and neat. I did miss the bathtub/shower combo because I enjoy a good soak but the shower was fine. My check-out was very quick thanks to Paypal.

The hallways and rooms smelled HORRIBLE. Area around the hotel seemed like a nice, quiet, and safe area. Staff was pleasant, and check in and check out were easy. If you can stand horrible horrible smells then I recommend.

The room was very old. Carpet must have been the original. Torn and well used. Areas of hotel was dirty. Breakfast the bare minimum. Bed hard.

The hotel should not advertise complimentary breakfast as for me coffee and tea with cereal bars and horrible muffins does not make for a breakfast especially with no area to sit down . At least have toasts,jams and juices as for me who don’t drink coffee there was nothing to drink. We chose the hotel based on this complimentary offer. We will never stay with this chain again.

This hotel is a no frills stay. The beds are clean, but there are very few amenities, such as no coffee pot in the room. The breakfast is basically coffee and muffins on a table in front of the check-in desk. The staff was incredibly sweet. Expect to leave a $100 credit at check in that you won’t get back for 7-10 business days.
