It’s a perfect boutique hotel at the edge of Peroulinho. The staff was very friendly and ready to help. A nice breakfast with lots of choices in the morning and a cute bar in the lobby. It’s a bit uncomfortable walking late at night but totally walkable throughout the day. There is a noise from bars and other businesses around. Close to restaurants, museums, and attractions and easy to get around in Uber.

Bahiacafe is ideally located at the entrance to the historic sector of Salvador, and at affordable taxi rides from beaches etc. Warm and friendly staff assist with organising excursions. Interesting breakfast buffet but no other in house dining, ( but why bother with so many alternatives within walking distance?). The Caipirinha cocktails in the evening were great. Overall, a nice alternative-but-modern vibe at reasonable prices.

El hotel es una edificación muy antigua decorada con buen gusto y respeto a su patrimonio histórico. El trato del personal es excelente. Todos son muy amables y serviciales, especialmente Gabriel de recepción. Las habitaciones son espaciosas y muy limpias, aunque tienen algunos problemas de mantenimiento. En mi habitación el agua se filtraba a través del piso del duchero del baño y las toallas están percudidas y gastadas.

This was the smallest room I've ever stayed in and also the most expensive, during my visits to Brazil. There were ants in the room and walking into the room it smelled like piss. Not sure if the smell was coming from the alley or if it was actually the room. No closet space or iron. They had one tea cup with a few packs of tea, but no machine to make the tea. Not a bad location. I stayed for 2 nights and it cost me $221. I have stated beachfront hotels with a saview for less than $70 a night. The only view I saw out of my window is a rooftop. Wouldn't stay at this hotel again nor would I recommend to anyone to stay here.

I had a great stay at Bahia Cafe. The location is prime and very close to all the tourist attractions. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was tasty as well. I'd highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Beautiful historic hotel in the middle of everything I wanted to see and do in Pelourinho. Excellent shopping was just a short cab ride away. Would definitely stay there again. Very clean and the staff was amazing.

It is a perfect place to enjoy the UNESCO World Heritage Pelourinho neighborhood. It is a historical house nicely converted to hotel. The room was small but adequate for two persons. There was always hot water and good pressure. Everything worked fairly well considering it is an old building. There is a loud nightclub on one side but it didn’t stay open very late. It seemed like the whole area pretty much shuts down completely by about 11 pm even on weekends. I would stay there again if I ever return to Salvador da Bahia. Breakfast was adequate. People working there were particularly pleasant. There is a lot of police presence in the area so you feel pretty secure outside at least until about 11 pm.

Hotel bien situé dans le centre historique de Salvador mais un peu bruyant du fait de sa localisation sur la place. Le personnel était sympathique. La chambre n’est pas grande mais fonctionnelle et confortable. Malheureusement pas de petit dejeuner entre 06:30 et 07:30. :(

O hotel é instalado num prédio histórico. É importante ter isto em mente já que, apesar de ter tido uma boa reforma, tem suas limitações. Mas, nada que atrapalhe uma estadia que não seja muito longa (o meu quarto tinha abertura somente para um poço de ventilação. O café é bem diversificado, com uma boa qualidade. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos. A localização, para quem quer ficar na parte histórica de Salvador, é excelente.

The property is an old house transformed into a hotel so it looks a bit old but it's fine. It's a good option but I wouldn't classify it as a 'boutique' hotel since it lacks a few commodities, for example, the rooms are too small and don't have a wardrobe to hang your clothes properly, the bath is really small and the shower doesn't have a shelf to put your toiletries while you shower. But in general I would definitely recommend it.

A pousada está bem no pelourinho, ótimo pra quem quer conhecer a região.Porém como toda região central precisa tomar cuidado, tem muitos moradores de rua. Sobre a pousada, o quarto que fiquei não tinha um banheiro adequado, o chuveiro não era bom e o box tinha apenas metade tampando, o que fazia com que o chão da parte seca ficasse todo molhada. O valor da diária elevado para o que oferece. O café da manhã é bom

The staff was very courteous and always ready to help us with anything we needed. Danilo and Gabriele were very nice and helped us to locate our flight reservation, including sending us the boarding passes in PDF format and hard copy. We were extremely happy for choosing the Bahiacafe Hotel.

Hotel muito bonito, confortável e bem localizado. Para quem quer conhecer o centro histórico é uma ótima opção. Atendimento dos funcionários deixou a desejar. Não fui mal tratada em nenhum momento, mas faltou proatividade com questões simples, como por exemplo: o quarto que nos colocaram não tinha telefone para comunicar com a recepção, o que foi notado pelo funcionário no momento da nossa chegada e ficou de ser resolvido e não foi. Então se precisasse comunicar com a recepção tinha que descer.

I had a great stay at Bahia Cafe. The location is prime and very close to all the tourist attractions. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was cozy and clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was tasty as well. I'd highly recommend staying at this hotel.

It’s a perfect boutique hotel at the edge of Peroulinho. The staff was very friendly and ready to help. A nice breakfast with lots of choices in the morning and a cute bar in the lobby. It’s a bit uncomfortable walking late at night but totally walkable throughout the day. There is a noise from bars and other businesses around. Close to restaurants, museums, and attractions and easy to get around in Uber.

Bahiacafe hotel a beautiful boutique hotel is a hidden gem in pelourinho center and is safe place due to alot of police presence,is close to everything restaurants, shopping, entertainment and night life. I will recommend this hotel.

The hotel was really nice and is central to the location. During the day it’s ok to walk around but one needs to be careful of the surroundings but the old town is a fun place to go around. At night it’s not a good idea to walk just take Uber. The staff was super friendly and it’s a great place to stay to explore Salvador

A lovely, nicely designed spot with a lot of character, great staff, excellent breakfast. But don't ever stay here during Sao Joao festival in June. Thunderous music till 1am every night right out your window.

O hotel é instalado num prédio histórico. É importante ter isto em mente já que, apesar de ter tido uma boa reforma, tem suas limitações. Mas, nada que atrapalhe uma estadia que não seja muito longa (o meu quarto tinha abertura somente para um poço de ventilação. O café é bem diversificado, com uma boa qualidade. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos. A localização, para quem quer ficar na parte histórica de Salvador, é excelente.

It is a perfect place to enjoy the UNESCO World Heritage Pelourinho neighborhood. It is a historical house nicely converted to hotel. The room was small but adequate for two persons. There was always hot water and good pressure. Everything worked fairly well considering it is an old building. There is a loud nightclub on one side but it didn’t stay open very late. It seemed like the whole area pretty much shuts down completely by about 11 pm even on weekends. I would stay there again if I ever return to Salvador da Bahia. Breakfast was adequate. People working there were particularly pleasant. There is a lot of police presence in the area so you feel pretty secure outside at least until about 11 pm.

Hotel boutique en casa antigua reciclada muy bonito y recomendable en su relación calidad/precio!!! Excelente ubicación caminando a principales atractivos de Pelourinho, cuarto pequeño pero confortable para un par de noches, desayuno artesanal destacable muy rico, y personal de recepción muy amable. Nos sentimos muy seguros allí, y también caminando por los alrededores. Recomendamos quedarse aquí al menos un par de noches para recorrer y vivir el centro de Salvador en toda su expresión, con su enorme encanto y la amabilidad y alegría de su gente!!!

Really good location. Breakfast was ok. This hotel doesn't serve lunch or dinner but there are tons of restaurants around. The staff was very instrumental in assisting with tours. I'm so glad the front desk speak both English and Portuguese, which was helpful.
