Nice room and clean, the main building doesnt look that impressive but when you get to the 3rd floor there is a step up in quality. The rooftop bar and restaurant was convenient and provided great views. A number of attractions were within a short walk including the gateway to India and Taj Hotel. Only downside was our room was next to reception so was a bit noisy at times when trying to sleep

The hotel is great value for money in an excellent location. We had a harbour view room which was worth the extra. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a lovely rooftop bar and restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay.

Location excellent .The view from room is simply awesome . Staff attitude average . Don’t expect warm and friendly welcome or goodbye . Bathroom needs deep cleaning , mould on ceiling. Electric sockets can be faulty . Phone got busted while charging .

Nous avons passé la 1ere nuit dans la chambre 316 contigüe à la réception. C’était épouvantable. l’humidité dans la chambre était trop et nous a donné une allergie. Des 5h du matin les bruits à la réception nous a arraché le peu de sommeil qu’on a réussi à avoir. Les serviettes et les draps sont défraîchies et troués. Il est plus que temps de les changer. Bruits dans les couloirs. La situation géographique est excellente et le personnel courtois. Ils nous ont fait transférer de chambre c’était beaucoup mieux.

Outside is confusing as the entrance is shared with another hotel. Breakfast was simple and very slow. Check in took a while. No umbrellas provided yet all other hotels did, cleaning was average, awful pillows and no choice of pillows. Lift and other areas filthy. Location was amazing. Wouldn’t recommend.

That location was great. However, the room was dirty. the toilet seat and lamp shades were stained, bed, and pillows need to be replaced. The pillows have black mold on them and the bed the the lamp shades are stained. To add I got bit up by bed bugs.

The first, I must tell that this is a hotel at a third floor of a building. The hotel has also some part of fourth floor used as breakfast area and bar at the evenings. There is another hotel in the same building which is using first and second floors. Plus there is one guesthouse and one cafe other than hotels in the same building... The hotel has 15 rooms at third floor of the building. I was in the room 305 in the first night which is facing harbour with a small window. The room was very very small. It was impossible to fit a normal size bed in this small room. So, the room has small size of bed and my feet was out of the bed all night. The next day we are shifted to the room 305 which has a normal size of bad but the room is small again because the bed takes most of the place of the room. Finally, the rooms are not really large enough but very well organized and very well maintained. Bathroom is clean and shower is very good too. If you forget about this hotel is not holding all building still one of the best hotel close to Gate Of India. Location is is excellent. Very good harbour view (if reserved sea view room, walkable distance to Gate Of India and restaurants around Gate of India... Just remind the front desk to have normal bed size room if you are 180 cm or 6 feet tall or over...

The Hotel was accessed through another hotel which was undergoing refurbishment. Although this didn’t impact on us too much. The room was supposed to be a quiet room but we could hear quite a lots of noise from the corridor as people were moving around at night, it seemed to quieten down after 10pm. The price we payed was expensive for the standard of hotel, but perhaps this is due to its location on the harbour front. Overall we did enjoy our stay here and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel is well located in the Harbour and include a very nice rooftop restaurant-bar, which served really good food. The hotel is not easy to spot as above an other hotel more visible. Room was large, and clean, but they took 2 small beds and put them together to « make » a kingsize bed, which is obviously not a good option for a couple.

Very comfortable rooms and such friendly, helpful, charming staff. The Bay View restaurant at the hotel also has wonderful harbour views, fabulous food and lovely staff. I highly recommend this place.

Every thing breakfast was poor asked reception to book uber they said they had but when ready to leave they had not asked for a big car they got small car it was not clean smelt of curry i am over 6ft tall and it was very uncomfortable i will not recommend this hotel to anyone

The hotel refused to honor my prepaid booking and sent me a WhatsApp message telling me to request a refund from Expedia and then pay them directly in cash. As a solo female traveler, this was stressful, unsafe, and unacceptable. Do not recommend this property. The staff on whatsup is unprofessional

The location of this property is excellent. The hotel is clean. The highlight is the personal touch. Along with the other managers I dealt with Sahil, a thorough gentleman. He went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

Goed hotel met prima prijs/kwaliteitverhouding. Het personeel was super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hotel was goed beveiligd en had faciliteiten op de kamer (waterkoker, kluisje, tv, etc.). Zeer fijne tijd gehad in India dankzij dit hotel! Ik kan het zeker aanbevelen.

Hotel is in close proximity to all the happening places, restaurants in Colaba. Staff is polite. Easy check-in and check-out.

The Hotel was accessed through another hotel which was undergoing refurbishment. Although this didn’t impact on us too much. The room was supposed to be a quiet room but we could hear quite a lots of noise from the corridor as people were moving around at night, it seemed to quieten down after 10pm. The price we payed was expensive for the standard of hotel, but perhaps this is due to its location on the harbour front. Overall we did enjoy our stay here and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Room, especially the bathroom was a little dated and needs redecorating. The bed linen was also old and needs replacing. However, the staff were brilliant and the food was excellent.

Outside is confusing as the entrance is shared with another hotel. Breakfast was simple and very slow. Check in took a while. No umbrellas provided yet all other hotels did, cleaning was average, awful pillows and no choice of pillows. Lift and other areas filthy. Location was amazing. Wouldn’t recommend.

Fantastic location! Cleanliness could be much better and ceiling above shower was covered in mild. Breakfast was ok, shame no fruit and poor quality tea / coffee.

Enjoyed our stay at Harbour View. We ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious and the staff extremely helpful and efficient. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating.

The view of the sea from the balcony was superb. Although car horns can be very noisy late into the night around Colaba Causeway, the Hotel Harbour View faces the sea, so the noise didn't bother me much. The reception is right nearby, and the staff are quick to assist, making for a comfortable stay. Colaba Market and various shops are just a short walk away, so it feels safe even at night.

How this hotel can be rated as 4 star is a joke, the photos of the rooms must be at least 10 years old. The only positive was that I arrived early and was able to go straight to my room, on the door opening the smell wasn't inviting and then it went downhill from then on, if I hadn't paid upfront I would immediately have left. The place is in desperate need of an update and deep clean, the 'balcony' was so small not even a chair on it, the bedding was no longer white but grey and had holes in it. I decided (as I'd paid) to stay a night, the shower was good, I had food on the rooftop terrace which was extremely busy and was ok, but breakfast the next morning was so poor. I then decided I had to cut my losses and move and when I told he guy I was leaving early he never even asked me why, think he may be used to it. Such a shame it has been let to run down as the location is great, but it has no amenities as it occupies the floors of another hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean but small. AC was great but fan was noisy. They stored their bedding carts right outside our door so we had to climb around it every time. It must have been a great place in its heyday but now it is just the 3rd floor and 4th floor restaurant. I was disappointed with it!
