They were in like mid renovations which wasnt stated. The jacuzzi had no water for being cleaned, so we couldnt use that. The pool had green water but I was also told it would be emptied soon to add fresh water. I understand things like that need to be done but that was our whole reasoning for choosing this hotel. In the room, the bathtub was dirty, the shower head wasnt fixed to the wall, and when i opened the door that goes from one room to the other, there was 2 pills on the ground. After looking them up, I found out they were narcotics. Fortunately I dont have a small child that could of picked that up and put it in their mouth. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and ended up leaving after the first.

Under construction. Messes everywhere and rooms open throughout the halls. Nobody was working on anything when we were there. Waited for 10 minutes to get checked in because nobody was at the front desk. Breakfast was bad. Ice machine was in bad shape and not even plugged in. Our room was extremely dusty. Elevator was scary.

The employees were very nice. I wish we had been told about the remodel when we made the reservations. The pictures were misleading. After a long, 10-hour drive, the hot tub was empty.

Bad. In midst of remodel. Filthy carpet. Construction dust everywhere. Back door security completely removed. Hundreds of pieces of furniture in the parking lot. Fresh paint couldn’t hide the smell of smoke in room. Squishy bed. No drain stopper in tub. Staff brought a filthy, used one to try. Phone not working. No room-number plaque in the hall. Terrible.

The property looked like it was in mid-construction with chirrock scrapings all over edges. all the carpets in the hall looked dirty. no air condition in all the common areas. The approach to my room was dirty humid and not welcoming. it set the tone for the stay.

There was no notification when booking online that this hotel was under complete renovation. The amenities listed were not available. Fitness room was storage for all the materials for the renovation. The hot tub was 1/2 filled and filthy. The side entry doors were wide open all day. There was no WiFi for TV. Requesting a refund! Checked out a day early as well.

If there was a no star option, I would select that. The hotel seems to only be operated by two employees. When we arrived we witnessed one of them cleaning their feet in the lobby. The room was disgusting and obviously has never been clean.

Stood at the front desk for 30 minutes waiting to check in. I rang the doorbell for service, called the “if no one is here” number and even the hotel’s physical phone number, all with no answer. Internet guy who was repairing something said he hadn’t seen the hotel workers for well over 45 minutes prior to that. Eventually a group of guys come walking around the corner and one goes behind the desk and asks what I need. After telling him I needed to check myself (and my students who were traveling with me) in, he apologized because his friends came and he was hanging out with them! Outside doors that should have key pass locks do not have them, which leaves the door open for anyone to walk in. Room doors also need a good shove to close. Breakfast wasn’t too great either. Things tasted off. The cranberry juice smelled and tasted bad (almost like it was fermented). Bedding on one of the beds had odd stains on it. Also looks like mice made a snack of the Bible in one of the rooms. There is random trash around the exterior of the building, including an old camper and wrecked pick up truck. Definitely not a place I want to take students to again!

Fleas in our bed. Bed bugs. Had to go at 10:30 at night and get rubbing alcohol to spray rooms. We were a wedding group and one family left the second night. Only got moved to a different room. No discount anything. Guy's working were very nice though. Will never stay laquinta anywhere

This was the dirtiest and most unhygienic hotel experience I ever had. Our room smelled strongly of solvents. After an exhausting day of travel we decided to stay because we were able to open the window and aired out the room.

This place needs cleaned. Top to bottom. I was shown 4 rooms upon check in just to find a room without debris on the floor my child wouldn’t put in her mouth. I had to request cleaning supplies myself just to get a room clean enough to stay in. I had to request the fridge to switched just to have a working fridge since we were traveling and had a cooler of drinks and snacks for the kids. Lamps without bulbs. No working phone in the room. Bed linens dirty and needed changed. The stool in the room was gross and what appears to be mouse dropping on but the gentleman at the desk informed me was just dust. Drywall chunks around toilet base, unswept floors, and dirty smelling rooms. We were also under the impression our children could swim in the pool area, that was not the case. The pool did look like it was in okay condition but the hot tub was half empty with gross standing water. The floors of the pool room hadn’t been swept probably this whole year and I’m not kidding. There was old dirty socks on the floor in there. The shower area was leaking and was atrocious! Half the room didn’t have numbers “due to remodeling” that includes the 4th room we were given. When telling them how dirty the rooms were and refusing to have my children in there they asked me what they were supposed to do. I kept telling them “I don’t know I paid for a CLEAN and safe room, I know that’s not much to ask but I shouldn’t have to tell you how to do your job OR offer to do it myself” VERY GROSS!!!!!

This property looks NOTHING like it does in the photos, everything is dirty, broken or absent. For example, we only had a top white sheet to sleep with and no drain fixture on our tub. Nothing has been vacuumed in months. Pool and hot tub were "under construction" yet there was nothing under any construction.

The property is old and run down. The smoke alarm in our room was loose and hanging from the ceiling. The sheets on the bed were worn out rags with stains. We were booked for 3 nights and checked out after the first night. Now trying to get a refund from Expedia for 2 nights.

Would have to know beforehand that the hotel was under renovation. Rooms were not really ready for rent. Our smoke detector was hanging. No hair dryer. HVAC did not cool down. Second room hvac was not cooling. Room still under renovation. Breakfast was not complete. Only bread, and yogurt available. Coffee was ok.

The whole place needs to be renovated. Are is dirty in the rooms. Sink would not drain and the toilet was slow to flush. We asked to change rooms and the carpet was equally dirty. Only thing good was the beds.

I will let the pics speak for themselves. However, the lighting was horrible. We had a cricket in our room that kept us awake until my husband got out of bed and found it and got rid of it. There was an obvious remodel going on. I booked months in advance and wasn’t told this was happening. The smoke alarm was removed, it smells dank in the room. Beds were not comfortable. Two towels in the room for 3 people. The cornfield outside the window was cool.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. They made the staff worth it! Although the hotel was in renovation mode; they accomidated my every need---going above and beyond to please me. The hotel itself was very quiet. My young kids slept in everyday with no noise issues.

Internet guy who was repairing something said he hadn’t seen the hotel workers for well over 45 minutes prior to that. Eventually a group of guys come walking around the corner and one goes behind the desk and asks what I need. After telling him I needed to check myself (and my students who were traveling with me) in, he apologized because his friends came and he was hanging out with them! I will let the pics speak for themselves. However, the lighting was horrible. We had a cricket in our room that kept us awake until my husband got out of bed and found it and got rid of it. There was an obvious remodel going on. I booked months in advance and wasn’t told this was happening. The smoke alarm was removed, it smells dank in the room. Beds were not comfortable. Two towels in the room for 3 people. The cornfield outside the window was cool.

The hotel was extremely dirty and under "renovation," yet there were no other guests at all, which felt very unsettling. The room was in terrible condition (stains all over the floor and furniture, including chairs), and with the hotel isolated in the middle of a cornfield, we decided not to stay there for our safety and well-being. This property should never have been listed on Hotels.com, and with the condition of the hotel being clearly unfit for guests and the prepaid stay being nonrefundable, this hotel is a total scam. I would rather sleep in my car than this hotel.

Hotel is under construction and is in horrible condition. Carpeting is stained. Bathroom walls are stained and have Old wallpaper and mold. Toilet ran constantly. HVAC was inconsistent. Pool was out of order. Elevators were clunky. Breakfast was sad It was just bad

Would have to know beforehand that the hotel was under renovation. Rooms were not really ready for rent. Our smoke detector was hanging. No hair dryer. HVAC did not cool down. Second room hvac was not cooling. Room still under renovation. Breakfast was not complete. Only bread, and yogurt available. Coffee was ok.

Maybe they were doing renovations, but the hallways were flithy, the door latch wasn't there. Like even during renovations you can clean up as you go. The breakfast was very subpar, the juice was hot and the food was not it. But inside the room it was nice

The only good thing I could say was the bed comfortable. Upon arrival, the host warmly greeted us however, the conditions of the downstairs seemed to be in renovation. The side entrance was ajar and there was no key entry there. The handicap door button also did not work. The elevator made a loud screeching noise as it approached our floor. Entering into the hotel room, we noticed smears across the mirrors and a generally dirty appearance. The sheets on one bed had stains and burn holes the size of cigarettes. We also found a used towel in the closet. At that point, we requested a new room and were moved. The room we moved to was missing a room number. The sink basin was detached from the countertop and was at risk for falling out. We bought Clorox wipes and the shower left us with brown colored Clorox wipes. The rooms were not clean and they were in ill repair. There was also food debris on the desks and the desk chair. When we came down to breakfast, we noticed that the majority of the supplies were not stocked. With a small amount of silverware, it almost look like an after thought. There was no fresh fruit, and it was difficult to tell how long the Cereal has been there based on us being the only people in the area and only two bowls available for the three of us. My husband drank the coffee but now I has concerns about how he will feel later. We did not eat there because of the concerns for how long the food or supplies were there. Overall terrible experience!

The staff here made the difference. I arrived middle of the night and they were 100% ready when I arrived. The staff was perfectly friendly like a 10 out of 10 hotel. The room was comfortable. It wasn't the fanciest place (and I think they're remodeling) but if you want a quiet, safe place to sleep at a decent price. This is totally the place.
