Opened my door~big stain on the carpet. Curtain pull not working. No elevator~I am old and was not told. Cold coffee in thermos. Very noisy neighbor at midnight~called 0 and no answer so I pounded on their door.. Many numbers online but no direct number to hotel. No one around at breakfast time so didn’t think it was open.

Many broken things that appear to have been ignored for a long time, I’ve machine down too, and breakfast was very lackluster. I will be coming back to Evansville, but staying anywhere else (even if I have to drive from further away).

Room key didn't work twice; once at 2am (returning from job site). Breakfast was stated on the wall ("Breakfast Monday - Friday 6am - 9am") - I have video of a completely empty lobby. Room was clean; wireless worked. In summary, it's a bed for $105 a night - seems excessive. From what I understand, he's the only hotel in town, so I guess you can charge what you want.

The parking lot is lit well and feels safe. The lobby and room are very clean and well maintained. I was impressed with how clean the shower and tub are. Very happy with everything.

The property is fine. There is no elevator which is a first world problem. It said breakfast was available. The breakfast room was full of TV boxes. There was a half gallon of milk and cereal though! No coffee. The staff was absent. I only saw an attendant if I rang a bell. They double charged me for the room and tried to argue I didn't pay through expedia even though I presented my receipt. My CC company took care of that. The rooms are clean and the area was quiet.

Not all the lights worked in the room. For being a place kind of out of town it was kind of noisy at night. The was no breakfast offered light the ad said.

Fairly modern, clean facility but certainly unconventional level of services. Front desk is not always staffed - ring doorbell on desk and maybe someone will show up. No snacks, breakfast, coffee or water available. Room rate is less and most competitors and it shows. Ave size comfortable room and beds. Unsure we would return here.

Unable to communicate with staff, no elevator to 2nd floor and no assistance to take luggage up but has a cart. No one at desk because the check in person is also the cleaner. No one to answer phone, room was not cleaned for next night unable to get clean towels, called and called for 20 min to discuss check out no one answers then wants to charge you if your s minute after check out time or they enter the room with thier master key when someone tells them at the door the person was in the shower. Terrible experience and there were only a handful of rooms being used. When checking out was told yes check out when you open the door to leave because she was cleaning the room and not at desk , could not get her to go to desk to get receipt stay and confirm what’s being charged then charged more. The shower in the bathroom was growing a new life form. It was gray and fuzzy. The TV in the room didn't work, I had to use my phone as a hot spot to get any service. It kept saying we were not checked in. We got to the hotel at 10:45 pm and had to wake the desk lady. When I called earlier to say it might be after 11 pm when we arrived I was told that she would just leave the key in the room. We were not given the Wi-Fi password and when we stopped by the breakfast and to check out in the morning, again there was no one at the desk. My husband who went outside to smoke four times during our 8 hour stay, never once saw anyone at the desk to ask about the TV or explain about the shower. I would not stay again. Although I do have to say the hot tub in our room was very clean and worked very well. It was nice to have a hot soak after the drive, but neither myself nor my husband was up for trying that shower. It was honestly scary looking.

We had an ok stay at this relatively small and quiet property. Initially the room appeared to be clean, but when looking for an item we dropped on the floor we found several pieces of garbage behind the bed skirt.

This motel needs a complete renivation. The rooms are outdated and the beddings are old. Even the towels are course. The hole building smelt of Asian cooking. There was absolutely no breakfast of any kind and even NO COFFEE provided up front. The only coffee available was that from a ONE cup pot in the room. We were in room 117 and the heater in it was defective as it was making a loud rattling/grinding sound. It has either a bearing going out in the motor or the fan is bad. There is no question that the manager of the place would have been well aware of this problem as it was rattling when we entered the room. The only contact that the manager had with us was his phone call at exactly 11am to tell us it was checkout time? Last time we will be staying there.

The clerk at the front desk couldn't understand English well enough to confirm my reservation and had to call for help. The coffee maker in our room didn't have a basket to hold the coffee pod, Also, it had left- over coffee grounds in the water reservoir, which I rinsed out. There was no coffee made for us in the lobby either morning and no water in the Keurig. I had to take the water bin to my room to get water for the Keurig in the Lobby. There were multiple dried (urine?) stains running down the back side of the bathroom door, which we didn't notice until our last morning. The bedding was clean, very peaceful, as we were the only 2 customers in the entire building for 2 days.

I called the morning of my stay to see if there was an early check in available. When I called they told me they cancelled my reservation. They cancelled due to overbooking. I didn’t receive any email, phone call or anything informing me of the cancellation.

They didn't have my reservation. Their explanation was that they asked to have their property taken off your listings but you haven't done it. I was told I need to get a refund from Travelocity. I am quite unhappy.

Apparently the Evansville inn and Expedia do not talk to each other, as my booked room was unavailable and had to stay along the highway in Janesville. Be wary and call to confirm a room is actually available if you book through Expedia

Unable to communicate with staff, no elevator to 2nd floor and no assistance to take luggage up but has a cart. No one at desk because the check in person is also the cleaner. No one to answer phone, room was not cleaned for next night unable to get clean towels, called and called for 20 min to discuss check out no one answers then wants to charge you if your s minute after check out time or they enter the room with thier master key when someone tells them at the door the person was in the shower. Terrible experience and there were only a handful of rooms being used. When checking out was told yes check out when you open the door to leave because she was cleaning the room and not at desk , could not get her to go to desk to get receipt stay and confirm what’s being charged then charged more. Very unhappy

Reserved a room 2 days prior to arrival. Go to check-in and we were told there were no rooms available. Showed the lady our confirmation email and still would not give us a room. There were 3 or 4 other ladies that had the same issue as we did. The lady at the front desk was very rude. I would never recommend staying here

We got there after 1 am and the front person was very nice. Everything needed was in the room and the room was really clean. I did not need extra service. For me this is all I ask for! Place was small, cozy, quiet and walkable. Will definitely stay back for relaxing and decompressing.

Room key didn't work twice; once at 2am (returning from job site). Breakfast was stated on the wall ("Breakfast Monday - Friday 6am - 9am") - I have video of a completely empty lobby. Room was clean; wireless worked. In summary, it's a bed for $105 a night - seems excessive. From what I understand, he's the only hotel in town, so I guess you can charge what you want.

We gave this hotel a chance since the rates and location were on par with what we needed. We were very happy with our stay and will come back when in the area again. Staff was very accommodating. The room was clean and the location was very convenient. You can even walk to the Piggly Wiggly next door.

Check in was easy and staff was friendly. Room was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was very convenient to the event we attended. Breakfast was almost nonexistent so they shouldn’t bother advertising it. We basically showered and slept there so can’t comment on anything else.

I had a great stay at this OYO. Had a good breakfast and the night was peaceful and comfortable. The hotel had just been purchased and there was a bit of transition going on but they were very pleasant and accommodating their guests.

Older building and grounds were very clean and everything worked well. Disappointed that Towels were thin & only one set per person in a double room. Advertised “free breakfast” but only had cold cereal, milk & juice. Fortunately, fast food, gas & grocery store were nearby.

- very clean except 3 dark stains on the carpet floor in rm 109 - housekeeping was banging on my door at 920am...I was still there and getting ready - checkout is 11am - continental breakfast was mostly emptied by 930am - limited choices and no hot water for oatmeal

The property is fine. There is no elevator which is a first world problem. It said breakfast was available. The breakfast room was full of TV boxes. There was a half gallon of milk and cereal though! No coffee. The staff was absent. I only saw an attendant if I rang a bell. They double charged me for the room and tried to argue I didn't pay through expedia even though I presented my receipt. My CC company took care of that. The rooms are clean and the area was quiet.

After we got checked in, the manager said there would be no breakfast-it is off season. Yet the website showed breakfast was included. There was no coffee available for guests in the lobby, as has been standard in all other hotels I have stayed at. The room had no towels upon check in-they were brought later in the afternoon. The bathroom sink handle was loose and the pop-up drain lever was disconnected, so the stopper would not lift. Management's fix when told about this issue was to remove the stopper, with hair stuck on it, and place it on the counter behind the sink, instead of reattaching the drain lever. Yuck! And while the shower had excellent water pressure, the water was only lukewarm. We will not stay there again next time we visit Evansville. Not a good value for the price.

Avoid this motel! We were informed there was NO HOT WATER upon our check-in and that it would not be repaired for three days! The next morning, we saw there was no breakfast in the unlit breakfast room or coffee in the dark lobby corner. When someone finally responded to the buzzer and came to the front desk, he literally laughed! and said, "No, we don't have a breakfast" (though the website and lobby sign states otherwise). Everything was so remarkably awful, it was indeed almost laughable.

Fairly modern, clean facility but certainly unconventional level of services. Front desk is not always staffed - ring doorbell on desk and maybe someone will show up. No snacks, breakfast, coffee or water available. Room rate is less and most competitors and it shows. Ave size comfortable room and beds. Unsure we would return here.

Staff was pretty non existant, even after you "ring the bell" The room was clean enough but the sink in the bathroom was definately clogged, the water drained REALLY slow and the toilet barely flushed.

We had booked1 room for Friday night June 12th. That booking went through. However our booking for the 13th for two rooms had not. My credit card had been billed and I had a confirmation number. Very disappointed in Hotels.com as well as the hotel. They were both pointing their fingers at each other on whose fault it was. I did get my refund from Hotels. Com but there were no other other hotels available in this town so I had to stay 30 minutes further away. So disappointing. The hotel was ok for the price but others in my group were told there were getting rooms with 2queen beds but instead had king beds. A lot of long term roofing workers staying on the 2nd floor.
