The Moonrise Hotel

Walking into the hotel everything is beautiful. The location was super convenient for the concerts we were attending and had lots of places to grab a drink or bite to eat within walking distance. Every employee we met was helpful and pleasant. The few cons I have would be that ice machine on my floor didn’t work. The phones in my room and on my floor didn’t work so the only way for me to get ice was to track it down. We were told the rooftop bar opened at 4 pm but they didn’t have ice for at least 30 - 40 minutes after 4 so we couldn’t order drinks. Being on the 7th floor you can hear everything going on in the bars above you. And lastly the worst offense of them all was how dirty our bathroom was. The walls clearly hadn’t been wiped down in quite some time as there 3 different spots of what I assume are period blood on the walls. Overall I think I would stay here again just would lower my expectations of what I am expecting to get.

Great location for a show at the Pageant. Delicious restaurant options in and near the hotel. Great value for price of the suite. Highly recommend.

Comfy room, great stay

This was an unexpected gem. A beautiful area in the Delmar Loop with lots of great places within walking distance. I'ld love to come back and explore more!

Great location to the Loop, Forest Park, entertainment and great restaurants. A fun boutique hotel which is quiet and comfortable, great breakfast and a fun bar on the top floor. We will return.
