There are three resorts right next to each other within this property and all are owned by the Princess group. The best part is that you can access all the restaurants and other amenities within the property. We stayed at Punta Cana Princess but the staff at Tropical Deluxe Princess was a bit better. One of the chefs (Fernando) at Punta Cana Princess resort was very accommodating and there were a few handful good servers such as Juana and Orlando who were friendly and helpful as well. The resort has private access to the beach and we could swim in it. Some of the issues that we faced are listed below: Lots of mosquitoes on the property, tiny showers and limited wifi in the room.

Resort is a 3 star at best. I don’t expect super good food when all inclusive, but this food was almost inedible. Breakfast meats are hotdogs or fried salami, everything is cold. You can’t find salsa around anywhere, but canned powdered cheese dip is what you get even at restaurants. 3 days into our trip we woke up to the 1 and only pool drained empty, and were told to use the pools at the sister resort which are not adult only. We finally got to use our pool the day before we left. The AC will never get below 77degrees in the room, and the water never very hot. Paid a lot extra for honeymoon suite, which was not at all like the pictures. Is not 2 stories and is the same size as standard rooms. Should receive some money back for having no pool for half our vacation.

So relaxing, quiet, and easy to chill here. Gorgeous beach. Organized, professional staff. Superb cleaning everywhere. Slept incredibly well too! This is a solid value if you are there to enjoy each day on the beach or at the pool (beautiful pool). No night life but cute restaurants and privileges at sister resort next that has a night club. Spa is beautiful too! Will go back here in a heartbeat!

I had an incredible stay at the Princess. Easy access to the beach and also the food was delicious. Lots of options!! The gym is clean and the staffs are super friendly. Will definitely be back.

Fun time at Princess! Love the food options! No reservations needed!!! Sand is gorgeous! Activities fun! Swim up pool!! We walked to the other princess hotels and saw flamingo, iguanas, turtles! Staff is great!

Punta Cana Princess is a peaceful, adults-only resort with friendly staff and clean, well-kept grounds. The spa was excellent, and the quiet atmosphere made for a relaxing stay. However, there were several drawbacks. The "free WiFi" is very limited—streaming or accessing many websites requires a $4/day upgrade, and WiFi in the rooms was nearly unusable. Entertainment was repetitive, with the same activities daily. The beach was covered in seaweed during my visit, which made it hard to enjoy. There’s only one main pool, which can feel limiting if the beach isn’t an option. The buffet food was average, with around 70% of the options repeated daily. Most of the offerings catered to American tastes; I had hoped for more Dominican dishes. Cleanliness: Bathroom was dirty upon arrival. Room was covered in dust and appeared unswept for our stay. Room and sheets smelled of mildew. Cockroaches were present. Safety: Patio door did not lock. Pushy sales people lingered around beach area. Staff: Entertainment staff and bar staff was great!! Front desk staff with whom we shared our complaints about cleanliness upon arrival did nothing to fix the issue. The staff members we went to for the cockroaches did nothing for us except send a guy to our room with a broom. They did not provide any accomadations for the issue and even laughed at us. I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The air conditioning in the rooms wouldn’t go below 26.5°C (At one point it was 28.5C), making it uncomfortable to sleep. Across three different rooms I was moved to, all had the same issues: stained bedding with what appears to be either dead bugs or just dirt, holes in the sheets, very dusty interiors, and a dirty bathroom with hair left on the floor. The balcony sliding door was broken, the fridge was old and crusty, and there were barely any power outlets available. Incredibly, some rooms didn’t even have Wi-Fi. The food was decent, though service from the wait staff was slow on the first night. Beaches had seaweed, not the staff’s fault. Overall, the lack of cleanliness and maintenance really overshadowed anything positive. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

From a leaking roof, to water running down my walls on my first night there…moved to a 2nd roof at 5am, only to encounter numerous issues in THAT room, AC barely working, to a newly installed bathroom fan with no electrical switch to turn it on, and after this was explained to guest services, nothing was done, a large gap in my door jamb, so hot air constantly coming in, a large gap ALL the way door my sliding door onto balcony...my stay was horrendous. Alexander at guest services can be very rude, Joel, one of the managers sat there like a lump on a log, without much or any input to these issues. Offered to move me to a sister hotel, whose reviews were horrible and mentioned a lot of the same troubles I was encountering…I declined because why change one set of problems for another?! The pool, most days, not cleaned properly, bird poop floating everywhere, and very obvious, and numerous, spots of mildew. Food was horrible, and often cold at dinner time, despite showing up right at 6:30 when they opened. It was four days before I saw a vegtable other than potatoes. The majority of the staff looked like they’d rather be getting a root canal. The spa is HORRIBLY overpriced and definately not worth your hard earned money. DO NOT STAY HERE!! I really, truly can’t say this loud enough. Do I have pictures and videos of all the room issues? You bet I do!! As for the ‘canned’ response that undoubtedly will come from the General Manager…don’t bother!

There was no hot water for like 3 days in the entire building complex we were in, the air conditioning couldn't cool lower than 25C. Most of the staff doesn't speak english and the beach of the resort is fulled with shady salesmen trying to sell you experiences. I would avoid any Princess Hotels at all costs. I also experienced food poisoning and was exposed to a racket this hotel runs in connection with an expensive private hospital (Hospiten). Luckily my travel insurance covered everything.l

You can’t find salsa around anywhere, but canned powdered cheese dip is what you get even at restaurants. 3 days into our trip we woke up to the 1 and only pool drained empty, and were told to use the pools at the sister resort which are not adult only. We finally got to use our pool the day before we left. The AC will never get below 77degrees in the room, and the water never very hot. Paid a lot extra for honeymoon suite, which was not at all like the pictures. Is not 2 stories and is the same size as standard rooms. Should receive some money back for having no pool for half our vacation.

The first two nights the air conditioning was not working in our room. We complained 5 times each day until we were finally moved to different room. Each time they told us maintenance would come and nothing ever helped. The room temperature was 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Unbearable after spending the day in the sun. The room was worn down and not cleaned well. Only our second room got stocked daily. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. The staff at dining experiences were friendly and always available. The food was good, besides the "24 hour snack bar". This was ONLY coffee and tea - nothing edible! I felt like our first two days were not relaxing as we were trying to get our room fixed. Our initial room was not ready when we got there at 4 PM (check in at 3...) It was still relaxing and fun vacation. Beach dance was fun! Foam party awesome!

The staff were great! The grounds are well kept and the evening dining was good. The rooms are a little dated but are clean. The lobby shows were fun and the other travelers there were pleasant. I will definitely be going back. In a lot of instances you get what you pay for however this property absolutely over delivered in that aspect. Excellent value and overall great stay. The only thing I would recommend they improve upon is the daily lunch buffet.

The property is very quiet and relatively small. The attached resorts are much more lively and have a lot more amenities and restaurants. The shared spaces are nice, but the rooms need an overhaul. The sink faucet was rusty and hard to turn on, the room smelt musty, and our key had to be replaced four times because it wouldn’t work. Overall, the resort is fine, but the 5 star reviews lead me to believe it would be much higher end than it actually is.

Small, clean, plenty of chairs at beach and pool. No need for reservations at restaurants. Rooms are set to be no cooler than 75 degrees which can be a bit warm to sleep. We were able to relax. Not a party vibe which was fine. Not a luxury resort either. Basically a basic resort with nice people. Nothing outstanding.

The property was beautiful and well kept. There were many dining options and we enjoyed most of them. The staff were amazing in their friendliness and helpfulness. The only qualm I had was the first suite we were put into had absolutely no warm(hot water. Also, the air conditioning made the room so humid that it was unbearable. There was mold/mildew in and around the shower area and the couch and bed were both wet to the touch. On These concerns were raised and on or 4th day were were placed in a much better room. Other than the first room, it was a pleasant and relaxing experience.

Punta Cana Princess was the perfect property for the vacation we needed. It offered a balanced blend of relaxation and activities. From check in with Maria to karaoke and the beer drinking contest with Frank the entire staff was engaged and positive. It didnt feel like anyone was forcing an upsell on you. We would recommend this property for singles or couples looking to have a good time with other adults! S/N: the VIP upgrade isnt necessary unless you really want premium liquor during your stay.

The check in and check process was so quick and easy and the lovely young lady was so sweet. (Don’t remember her name but she has braces). The hotel itself was clean (pool was somewhat dirty) and the grounds were well maintained. I did have trouble with my key card the whole stay. The buffet was awful…same food recycled every night with the rice and salads. Once the staff knew that it was just me, they would clear the rest of the table right while I was sitting and eating without a word. Not friendly at all. Housekeeping was amazing and my room was always clean. The steakhouse and Italian restaurants were very good. Agipito at the pool made my whole stay. He took the time to get to know me and what I liked for drinks and was right there all the time! He greeted me every morning with a smile and a hug or fist bump. The beach was beautiful and I enjoyed walking it. It was too rough for me to swim as I have a rotator cuff injury and it was pretty choppy out there. Overall, a good vacation!

We had another excellent stay at the Punta Cana Princess. This was our sixth stay in a little over a year and a half. The staff is amazing! They go above and beyond and treat you like family. Shout out to Alexander of guest services, the gals Maria & Yanelys at the front desk! Checking in & out always flawless & so welcoming! Reservations for dinners, spa appointments, arranging of shuttles always super easy & very accommodating. Our room was spectacular! Clean, cool, plenty of toiletries, towels, and a well stocked mini bar. Fresh beach towels were brought in every evening and the turn down service is such a lovely touch. We had amazing meals at every restaurant. Louis with room service is great! We always had plenty champagne! Yeicol our beach VIP service & bartender was absolutely the BEST! He makes the best Mojito EVER! And would quite often surprise us with something new to try! We were never without a cold fresh drink. The ocean was beautiful. The beach was groomed perfectly. There was little to zero seaweed during our week stay. The weather was phenomenal. We had zero rain. It was incredible. The 24 hour beach bar, the lobby bar, the pool bar and all the bartenders go above and beyond with their customer service their cheerful spirits we appreciate the kindness of Maria, Yocida, Ana to name just a few. Overall a good stay, not bad, not excellent either. This was my first time to this destination and this resort. I enjoyed: The beach and pool area, relaxing, and the overall service from the staff; they were all friendly and helpful (& I don’t speak Spanish so very English friendly). I did not really tip but that was more because of cultural difference on such matters, though I have come to know that it’s a usual thing for tourists to do & I think if a staff member goes above and beyond for you why not. I also liked the food but it was like a hit or a miss: I mainly ate at the buffet and the food was sometimes just okay tasting and sometimes it was really good. Criticisms: The resort rooms could use an update, I’ve seen this in other reviews and confirm it’s true, some of the sinks cupboards etc are pretty old and while it wasn’t too much of an issue - I’ve been to several places at a similar price point and everything was new or well kept so that’s my expectation for any hotel or resort with 4stars. Don’t be like me and let them give you their long presentation on their membership program. Just say ‘no’ to the first-timer gift and presentation. I did not enjoy someone trying to sell me something everyday. At the beachside area or even sometimes within the resort there is someone trying to sell you a bracelet or a massage or tour. When we were taken to our room, my husband and I were given a room with 2 twin beds and another roll-away twin bed in the "living room area"..what?? This is a room for a married couple? Anyway, I asked for another room, and we were quickly moved. From then on, the little "hiccups" kept coming. From not working Air conditioning, (yes we asked to have it looked at, to no avail) no handles on outside patio door, with no locks as well, to broken door handles in the bathroom, to the flooding where the toilet is due to where the shower is......now to the food/restaurants...just a hard pass. Each day it never got better. The beach bar restaurant was the worst. Dead geckos in the slightly melted cheese sauce for nachos, dead bees in the syrup in the main buffet restaurant. Some of the staff were Excellent....Frances, Ordalina, and the kind young man selling for the spa. Beyond nice and always greeted with a smile. There were far too many staff that, when spoken to, acted as if we were bothering them. Getting a drink at the swim-up bar, on the swim-up side, was incredibly difficult and always seemed to be bothering them. We are tippers, at each and every meal. It became obvious, that we needed to literally hand our tip to the person who'd earned the tip, or anyone else would grab it. One time, the mgr dude at the buffet, scooped up the tip before we'd even gotten all the way out of our chairs. The Did Not sit well for the rest of the trip. We will NOT return.

Punta Cana Princess was a great resort. The staff was excellent all around. The beach and views were excellent. Our room had an amazing sunrise view. My only comment was that the buffet food was only ordinary. But the nice thing is that you can have them custom grill eggs and chicken, so nice! The dinners were great, especially the Italian and Swiss Fondue. It would be great to have a good coffee shoppe on the property but at least you can walk to the other Princess resort and get that. You can even bood dinners at other Princess resorts nearby. All in all the room, view, beach, location, and staff were great. Oh, please tip your staff well, they work really hard! The weather was amazing as well. Go, relax and enjoy.

It was very disappointing to pay for two days and not be able to change my stay from one person in the room to two. My fiancé came later in the day and I made a mistake of putting one person on the room. I offered to stay for the one night so my fiancé could stay the night as I traveled 7000km to see her for the week and we wanted a night at a resort together. The staff in the reception did not make any exceptions and my finance had to leave . I didn’t even stay at the resort the second night even though it was paid in full. Never again at this place.

Very close to the ocean. Nice shore. No seaweed & great weather. Very quiet resort. Not a lot of choices for food, but you can use neighbor resort for restaurants. Plus Punta Cana princess don’t need to pre-order to the restaurant just live line. Restaurant for the best I recommended for a couple this resort.

It was ok BUT the steakhouse was THE place to eat. I’ve been to other resorts where they had better restaurants. The beach was horrible. It had like 3 feet of seaweed on the entire beach. Pool was nice and chairs were usually available.

So relaxing, quiet, and easy to chill here. Gorgeous beach. Organized, professional staff. Superb cleaning everywhere. Slept incredibly well too! This is a solid value if you are there to enjoy each day on the beach or at the pool (beautiful pool). No night life but cute restaurants and privileges at sister resort next that has a night club. Spa is beautiful too! Will go back here in a heartbeat!

The staff at Punta Cana Princess was amazing! Alexander Gomez is a great manager and was very welcoming. Alexius "Alex" makes a really great frozen drinks. I frequently used to dining options at Caribe Princess for dinner because the dinner at Punta Cana Princess outside of the Italian restaurant is not good. The breakfast and lunch options at Punta Cana Princess are plentiful. I did have an issue with my first assigned room but Alexander fixed that immediately. The rooms at this resort are OUTDATED and resort needs to be renovated urgently however, they know this. So, do not expect a luxurious room. The room is spacious. Given all this, think quality about how much you are willing to pay for a room that looks like Old Vegas and basic dining options. But also take into consideration that the staff is very accommodating and kind. I think the fitness center should provide earlier access in the morning for guests. You can play volleyball, tennis, archery, and group games daily. The connecting resorts have more updated facilities.

Very disappointing. Not sure why it’s rated as high as it is. It’s in terrible location. Roads leading to the resort are very bad. Food was decent at best. There’s constant miscommunication (we speak Spanish and English). Rooms didn’t have AC. And it was dirty and outdated.

There are three resorts right next to each other within this property and all are owned by the Princess group. The best part is that you can access all the restaurants and other amenities within the property. We stayed at Punta Cana Princess but the staff at Tropical Deluxe Princess was a bit better. One of the chefs (Fernando) at Punta Cana Princess resort was very accommodating and there were a few handful good servers such as Juana and Orlando who were friendly and helpful as well. The resort has private access to the beach and we could swim in it. Some of the issues that we faced are listed below: Lots of mosquitoes on the property, tiny showers and limited wifi in the room.

The buffet food and options were just okay. The drink options without the VIP package are not good - some sort of “Classico” liquor made in the DR which they try to flavor like vodka, gin tequila etc - it’s awful

The staff were great! The grounds are well kept and the evening dining was good. The rooms are a little dated but are clean. The lobby shows were fun and the other travelers there were pleasant. I will definitely be going back. In a lot of instances you get what you pay for however this property absolutely over delivered in that aspect. Excellent value and overall great stay. The only thing I would recommend they improve upon is the daily lunch buffet.

Love this resort, first time visit. Adults only is the way to go! Great beach, loved the entertainment team! Food was ok- cold at times. Seafood restaurant was my favorite.

I took away one star due to the buffet food being underwhelming. There's little to no seasoning to the food and there's not much as far as variety. Other than that, everything else was great.

Extremely over-rated property. The rooms really weren't that clean (the bathrooms were terrible) and the staff didn't clean the rooms very well (our bath tub was never cleaned). There was no hot water for like 3 days in the entire building complex we were in, the air conditioning couldn't cool lower than 25C. Most of the staff doesn't speak english and the beach of the resort is fulled with shady salesmen trying to sell you experiences. I would avoid any Princess Hotels at all costs. I also experienced food poisoning and was exposed to a racket this hotel runs in connection with an expensive private hospital (Hospiten). Luckily my travel insurance covered everything.l

Food is excelent, need improvement in personal service. Interaction with guests is distant. Placed an order to repair the room phone and the jacuzzi and they never showed up. Animation is too shy and repetitive. Overall is a good resort to stay

Punta Cana Princess was a great resort. The staff was excellent all around. The beach and views were excellent. Our room had an amazing sunrise view. My only comment was that the buffet food was only ordinary. But the nice thing is that you can have them custom grill eggs and chicken, so nice! The dinners were great, especially the Italian and Swiss Fondue. It would be great to have a good coffee shoppe on the property but at least you can walk to the other Princess resort and get that. You can even bood dinners at other Princess resorts nearby. All in all the room, view, beach, location, and staff were great. Oh, please tip your staff well, they work really hard! The weather was amazing as well. Go, relax and enjoy.

We loved it all! Staff was amazin g! I felt right at home there! I do recommend bringing a fan as the rooms were warm. Food was amazing, bar staff is top notch. Drinks were very strong. we can not wait to go back!

I will begin with some of the best parts of our stay, first and foremost, the resort staff was super nice and really helpful with everything and genuinely concerned with us having a great experience. The climate was the most perfect of anywhere I've been with a beautiful breeze most all the time. The food was a bit hit-or-miss some things we liked and some not so much, kind of expected for a buffet anyway, but the menu changed everyday and provided a large variety over the course of our stay. The room was decent overall, if you are used to the Super 8, you will be pleasantly surprised, if you are used to the Hilton, you may be mildly disappointed. The A/C struggled to keep the room 77 degrees (25C) and I keep my home at 70 in the summer so there was that. The nook they put the toilet in was built for someone about 5'7" 135lbs so if you are more American sized like me your shoulders will be like and inch from either wall and it might not afford you as wide a stance as you may like or need. The buildings are 3 stories and there is no elevator so if you have any mobility issues be sure and let them know and the will accommodate you with a first floor room. Overall, for me, the staff was the real gem of this vacation and I think that for the money, Princess provided and excellent value.

Os funcionários são super educados, atenciosos, vc solicita algo eles desdobram pra atender, eles tem a maior paciência pra entender se você não fala a língua, a comida é deliciosa, muita variedade, tudo muito limpo e conservado. A equipe de animação e recepção muito simpática e atenciosa. Sem dúvidas, me hospedaria novamente.
