Customer service was amazing! Elevator had some issues

Free onsite parking. Restaurant had great food & excellent service. Room was spacious & clean. Gym was nice had cardio machines & free weights. Only con is the hotel is close to active train lines.

We stayed here for valentines day. For some reason I had thought there was a pool but there was not. I was excited for the breakfast buffet which I learned later is not included with the room. Its a seperate cost, but not a bad price. The lobby its self had a wierd oder I didnt like. Check out is 11 but that doesnt stop the cleaner knocking on the door at 10:15. There isnt hair conditioner in the room but there was dove soap, shampoo and lotion. There was beautiful head dress and dream catchers but very dusty. The lobby its self had a wierd o

I do like the location but be aware that there is no pool, hot tub or included breakfast. For the price, we could have stayed at a hotel WITH these amenities.

Staff needs to tell customers there is under ground parking instead of being blocked into the stalls, some weed control needs to take place on the Northside of the property

Restaurant attached had great specials and delicious food and desserts. Check in was easy, place smelled good. Tons of great amenities within walking distance. Loved the water pressure of the shower.

The staff were friendly, and the bar/restaurant area was so inviting and relaxing. We had planned on going out to other restaurants around the city during our weekend stay, but ended up staying in just to enjoy the atmosphere!

The front desk took a 100.00 deposit which was not mentioned till check-in. Okay fine all good till we saw the state of our room carpet. Our room was not as clean as many other major hotels we’ve been in. Also, there were so many urine stains on our carpet our service dog had no idea where to lay. When you laid on the bed you could feel the springs popping and they continued all night. The pillows, all different, were a mixture of everything, no two alike, all bad! The towels were so tiny and so hard it actually scratched my skin. However, the lobby was very nice but really quite dark. Overall… they will never see us again!

Not overly clean, opened bed to find a number of hairs in the sheets, we asked for bedding to be changed but there was no housekeeping on at the time but the front desk attendant switched our room and upgraded us to a suite which was clean

Stains on the green floor. Bedding also has a brown stain .

Bath room was not the cleanest when we got there and there was a used bar of soap in the bath tub. carpet in the room felt dirty and pillows were hard.

Lobby was nice. Rooms are very dirty. Lots of fruit flies. Towels are old and rough. Lots of hair on the floor specially in the bathroom. Old and dirty carpet. Some holes on the wall.. sketchy. Googly eyes on the lamp.. it just mean that housekeepers are not detailed in cleaning the rooms. Called the front desk but didn’t do anything to help. We bought apple cider vinegar and set traps for the flies. Never staying here again.

Clean quiet room with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. Courteous and efficient staff.

We arrived and noticed within minutes that there were hairs(not ours) on the comforter, sheets and could be visibly seen on the mattress. The chair looked disgusting and stained. I swear there was a bug crawling on the mattress. We immediately checked out of the hotel. The rugs looked like they needed a thorough deep clean. It made me feel like I needed a shower after being in the room.

Rooms were dated and quite dirty (dust, dead flies), grip tape in the tub that nobody wanted to stand on, because it was full of mold and dirt, tub's surround was dirty, with very old soap scum. It's in a good location and the staff were friendly. Would not stay here again though.

When we first went in the room we found used dental picks on the counter. We then went to shower and the shower head was disgusting and the shower itself was dirty. We went to go to bed and the mattress's were old and uncomfortable and the blankets were stained and dirty so we slept in our clothes. Very disappointing cause we stayed there for the reason of having to have a shower and a good sleep after visiting my father in the hospital for a few days as he passed away.

Big spacious rooms, location is good

Our room had no outside windows and was therefore very dark. It was however very clean and well kept.

Hotel and room were very clean and staff are friendly. The bed was very saggy, and the pillows lumpy. The only other negative was the railroad tracks directly behind the hotel

I think it is time for an upgrade for the bathroom and maybe the room overall. The bed was comfortable.

A king room without even a microwave and the king bed was 5 inches thick very uncomfortable. Bathroom has all the noise when AC runs like something loose. And the trains are around the clock. Highway right close

Super noisy hotel

The room was clean but dated. The heater was very noisy. The atmosphere was good and the staff were exceptional. Great stay considering the mechanical issues with the heater.

The room was just ok. It was worn. The carpet seam was separated. Windows need upgrading and replacing. Very drafty and sounds like the window is open but its not.

The desk staff here went above and beyond. We arrived early and wanted to leave our vehicle while we took a taxi to the muttart conservatory. They instructed us not to leave our luggage in the vehicle but to bring it into the office to be safe. Not that they had any incidents but didn’t want any opportunities for one either. The breakfast wasn’t free but it was a large buffet and very good. Staff there were very helpful and friendly as well.

The hotel was clean as far as I could tell. The staff are what ruined it for me. The evening front desk staff was not very welcoming. I called multiple times and did not get an answer. The bartender where I ordered food was swearing to himself about a customer as well. The food that I had ordered was subpar and the room that I was in was right next to the bar where there were loud, intoxicated patrons. One positive - It was dog friendly.

Always enjoy our stay. Front desk is always kind and check in is quick. The restaurant NEVER disappoints and that’s why I stay there.

I would like to say a special thanks to two of your staff….unfortunately, I didn’t get their names….the night clerk and the lounge waiter. The reason for my stay was I had a family member in hospital and I wanted to be close. Both of these employees were super friendly and caring and took fantastic care of me. The night clerk always made sure I had a super nice room and the waiter always made sure I got supper even if I showed up just before closing time. Thanks again Sawridge (South Edmonton) BTW….family member is now out of hospital and on her way to recovery.

Did not like the housekeeping staff I found them very rude

Front Desk Staff always make us feel at home and call us by name They are wonderful with our reuests like extra blankets and towels.

I have stayed at this hotel before and never had issues but it needs a serious overhaul. We stayed two nights the first morning we had a strange lady knocking on our doors on the third floor at 7am, were pretty sure she was homeless. Kept wandering the hallway knocking on doors pretending to look for her room. We left for our competition and told front desk. Then that night when we got back it was late (10:30pm) and our toilet was overflowing all over the bathroom, we tried calling down, phones didn't work, so daughter ran down to tell them and the maintenance man was "clocked out" he said. The front desk lady asked him to please go check and he comes up with nothing to fix it. Then says well I'm done work but I guess I'll get a plunger. He comes plunges twice, says there, I'll leave this for you. and leaves! So we have wet towels all over the bathroom to soak up the water and nothing to help clean up. So we go back down to front desk and ask for a new room at least since we can't use our bathroom and no longer have towels to shower with in morning, and the front desk says well I guess we can give you a new room. Like we were putting them out! The maintenance man said he wasn't paid overtime to fix it so why should be come help. So maybe they need to treat their employees better and they would want to work, this is the hospitality industry....

Was not impressed with how things were handled after I left. I accidentally left a plaid Shackleton hanging in the closet. I’ve called twice to enquire about it. Twice I’ve been told they will look into it and call me back. I’ve yet to hear from them! Very poor customer service in that regard. Too bad because otherwise top notch stay!

Room clean and comfortable. Not the quietest hotel with traffic and trains. The hallways also smelled like weed for some reason. Convenient location tho and would stay there again.

Close to train tracks

The lobby atmosphere was nice, i didnt like that its located on a one way street and durring rush hour it was hard to get into parking if coming from the opposite direction. Go further down and then turn onto the one way so you have more time to move over instead of where maps tells you where to turn

Good location, easy to drive to the hotel. Room is spacious and clean. Guest services manager and front desk staff are helpful. Superstore and Walmart is close by. Overall, excellent experience staying in Sawridge Inn Edmonton South.

They accept pets which we really appreciated. They offer a full breakfast buffet at a very reasonable price. We were given a room that its window did not faced the outside. That made the room very dark and we had to turn the lights on all the time. Plenty of dining options nearby. However the area is not pedestrian friendly. The hotel and rooms are dated but it’s worth checking out their bar. The restaurant and bar manger was fantastic.

No concerns other than lots of noise from the traffic and trains frequently passing by. Difficult to sleep if you are on the lower floors and room is to the side or back of the building.

Everything was fine! The staff, the foyer is beautiful, the lounge had a great Happy Hour. And the meal was fine. But breakfast for us wasn’t great. It’s $12.99 which is cheaper than most places. It just didn’t work for us, because of food allergies. I’d return as it’s a reasonable price and very spacious room. The front desk staff were lovely

Everything was great, highly recommended for a short stay. Breakfast was not included. 13.00$ was very expensive for bad service and cheap food. Recommend you eat breakfast eales where.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Check in service was good. Restaurant service was a little slow. Buffet breakfast was not the best. French toast was not cooked properly and was soggy and choice of sausage or sausage patties that smelled and looked bad. There was a waffle maker that saved the day! Rates were good!

The exterior and lobby area really nice and up dated. The rooms are older. The buffet breakfest was what you get for free in other hotels. Bury this hotel want $12.99. Crazy priced. Don’t recommend. Their over priced breakfest

My room was comfortable and I had a good stay. The restaurant served a delicious meal that I ordered for dinner, but I got sick that night and couldn't help wondering if it was a mild case of food poisoning from that restaurant. I can't say for sure but I would avoid eating there again.
