The hotel was clean and comfortable. Parking can be pretty full at times. The breakfast is OK, but there is only one 2 slice toaster that is pretty slow. The breakfast is mostly waffles, pancakes, bagels, etc that need to be heated. A line forms quickly for its use. There is a microwave, but it is not great for properly heating these items. Need to have more capacity such as 4 slice toaster and /or more of them.

The property is rundown and dated. They offer very limited service such as only changing linens and taking out garbage every few days. The continental breakfast was a joke. No fruit or yogurt. A shared gallon of milk and styrofoam cups for coffee. The doors on the ends are left ajar and provide no security. Not enough lighting around the hotel and potholes. The televisions are very hard to figure out with 2 controllers and no instructions. NO A/C and no control for the heater. It seemed to be run by teenagers with little customer service. Our keycards did not work the second night. When I went down to have them re-coded, they did not ask for any ID.

Nice hotel overall. Parking not the best. The occupants in the room next to me were a bit noisy. Kept me awake until after midnight. They had a do not disturb sign hung on the door, yet people kept knocking on thei door until after midnight.

It was smelly. No a/c. Bad neighborhood. Puddles in the parking lot like a lake. Not near the airport at all. No food nearby. Many warnings about locking and theft. One way into property. Left within the hour. Not as advertised.

Stayed there three nights the rooms were clean. It was comfortable. Staff was good. Their continental breakfast actually was nice. The parking lot hasn’t been plowed all winter, just packed in making a giant, thick sheet of ice. The check-in process was smooth after someone finally came to the desk. A surprise to us was that they leave all to unoccupied rooms doors ajar, which we had never seen. However, even with the opportunity for the room to air out, we were still hit with a pungent smell when we walked in. Upon further inspection of the room we found “interesting” stains everywhere. The couch and chairs had stains all over. Even the wall had “yellow” stains, those we didn’t discover until we were packing up. The sounds of dogs barking all night and loud TVs made sleep pretty hard to get.

I arranged this room for my family guys going fishing. They told me how filthy it is, the carpet. The bath tub, the shower curtain rod broken , the flooring coming up. It smells. I cancelled the next reservation they had there when it was time to go home and am sending them to another hotel. I have pics, but I don’t see where to post them.

Smallest hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. It said we had a queen size bed but it definitely was not a queen size bed. Sheets were stained. No iron. Dingy towels. Toilet seat fell off. My Husband had to fix it. The sink didn’t work properly. The TV was up on a dresser at a 45° angle with two remote controls, one to turn the channel, one for the volume. The room felt and looked dirty. The phone didn’t work. No one answered when you called the front desk. There was no blow dryer. I texted for a blow dryer when they sent me a text asking if I needed any additional amenities, text was never returned until eight hours later, telling me to pick the blow dryer up at the front desk. Breakfast consisted of cereal and toast nothing but carbohydrates. We will never return to this hotel, nor will we consider Wyndham in the future.

The walls and floors were filthy. The shower had three different types of hair on the wall (obviously not clean). We booked a room for four people but they only had sheets on one bed, 2 pillows and 2 towels. Service was slow. There wasn't enough breakfast for everyone. A few bagels, one toaster and 2 yogurts with 15 people down there trying to figure out what to eat. A little disappointed in how many things were dirty and/or broken in the room. The walls and carpets had not been cleaned, there was debris on the carpet from lack of vacuuming, and the phone and fan had visible dust on them and were sticky. The door did not lock and there were only screw holes left where the inside lock had previously been. The ceiling fan and heater were visibly broken. No thermostat in the room. The one thing that seemed clean was at least the bedding, but even they had multiple stains. The tv did not work, would only sit stuck on a loading screen when trying to change to any channel. Wi-Fi was good.

It was the dirtiest hotel room ever! I wish the hotel headquarters would send out undercover inspectors to see this...Talk about an overpriced substandard hotel...do they have any conscience ?? This was dirty, lots of mold in the bathroom, dirt in the corners. The carpet looked like it had never been cleaned and was 50 years old. The bed was very uncomfortable and pillows giant. The fan had dust all over it. The worst part was the urine smell, it was just so disgusting.

The hotel is inexpensive and located about 20 minutes outside of Anchorage. It is definitely a no-frills place, looks kind of like an old rundown college dorm. We were there in June during unusually warm weather. Window seat cushions are stained, no air conditioning ( typical in Alaska), windows opened to provide cooler air but had no locking mechanism, a good bit of road noise. Linens were not changed or bathroom cleaned during a week’s stay. Overhead lighting did not work, though ceiling fan was nice. Ask for a hairdryer at the desk if you need one. Staff is friendly and continental breakfast is provided each day.

This is the most bare bones hotel room we have ever stayed in. No lamps on nightstands. Two pillows for queen bed. The toilet paper dispenser is too far away to reach it, so just took it off. Very noisy. No A/C so had to leave the window open. No fridge or microwave. Very small room. Disappointed. I knew it wouldn’t be the greatest room, but it was our 58th wedding anniversary and I was hoping for a little nicer.

The first staff was friendly and help us to upgrade the room. The second staff was not nice and did not offer the extend check out time. The bed sheets seem to be lack of stock. We have to wait long hours to get from laundry.

Rhea, the morning front desk person, was the best thing about this hotel. She fixed the tv, that had no coverage, provided a house phone and toilet paper for me. Housekeeping and maintenance really need to step it up in this facility.

Staff is very helpful and friendly. The area seems very safe. The city of Eagle River is a great little town. Lots of places to see and hike close by. We really liked Thunderbird Falls, a short drive away.

A little run down. Room was tiny, bed took up most of it. Toilet seat was loose. Breakfast was frozen pancakes, french toast, bagels, cereal and English muffins. Staff was very friendly.

Room was nice for an older place and was clean. The complimentary breakfast has very little to offer but is a nice gesture. Don’t expect to have your appetite satisfied but the food was fresh.

After we were ready for bed front office told us they checked us in wrong room. We chose not to move but they said we would get discount as this room was less expensive. At checkout we were informed they could not do that as it was booked through Expedia Breakfast choices cereal, bagel, toast, premade pancake or waffle. No protein choices or fruit.

This is a run down, crumbling, and clearly not maintained facility. The only thing going for them is the staff. Drive up and that overhang is no longer there, in its stead is a giant hole on the parking lot. No signs or warnings. Step inside and you immediately see the walls are cracked with water damage. Hoping you can over look this, we stepped into the elevator that started to go up before the door fully closed. The hallways are dark and more water damage with cracks. Step into your room and it’s a sticky carpet, with furniture from the 90s. Which is t the worst but you can guess it, the water damage has arrived. The bathroom is sad, the faucet leaks, the shower leaks and the sink is being held up by 2x4s. Complete let down…

Stayed here 5 nights. Staff was very kind and helpful. The property needs an update. It’s a bit run down and dirty. Our window seat had a bunch of stains. No AC or mini fridge and TV got few channels. They said it was a problem with dish network. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The breakfast could use some fruit. Mostly frozen waffles, pancakes, English muffins and cereal. Overall, Would stay here again.

This is a good place to stay at. The staff is friendly, courteous and polite. The hotel needs some renovations and I could see them making improvements during my stay for example lobby carpets were being cleaned. There is no kitchen for heated food such as eggs and sausage. You have to heat everything which worked for me.
