Luis at the Front Desk was OUTSTANDING. The whole team is excellent and were helpful and insightful at every moment. The rooftop pool is fantastic. The overall location is unbeatable. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh and had a great selection. Can't wait to return!

Second time we stayed at the Sitzmark. It's a great location and best price in Vail. However, this year there is a new owner who did away with the free underground parking. Now $45 a day which is still slightly less than others. Lobby and rooms under construction for renovations making it a bit noisy and inconvenient. Our room was very nice with a fireplace.

Great staff, bedrooms are as pictured on the website. Breakfast is included. Extremely small garage parking. Presented issues for most cars. Like older properties in Vail, no A/C. Room had a ceiling fan but had to sleep w the sliding door open. That means you hear all the noise in the village and below your room at the pool. Nice bathroom.

Room was very nice overlooking creek below. Convenient to village. Difficult to lug heavy luggage up stairs since no elevator. Parking was $45 which was a surprise. No air conditioning but we left the screen to patio open which worked out. Price was relative to the inconveniences of renovation.

Very nice boutique hotel in the middle of Vail Village. Nice pool and hot tub area. Parking is limited but we parked 5 minutes away in the Vail garage. Gore Creek trail and stores/restaurants were easily walkable. Staff is extremely friendly.

The Sitzmark was the perfect place to stay in Vail, and I was very impressed with our experience there. They have the friendliest front desk staff who were super helpful and kind. Parking was super convenient right below the hotel. We loved the location in Vail Village and easy walkability to everywhere we wanted to go. Delicious fresh baked cookies every afternoon, and a beautiful European style breakfast that was complimentary each morning. The rooms were clean and modern, and the patio views of the of the creek were beautiful. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We will definitely be returning to stay here in the future!

Terrific one night stay in Vail Village, while on a 2 week road trip. Celebrated wife’s birthday and front desk (shout out to Wayne) sent a bottle of Prosecco to our room which we enjoyed on the outdoor pool/hot tub deck. Great views! Also very close to Sweet Basil (awesome venison and duck meals) and Village shops.

We have to start off with how friendly and welcoming the staff were, every single of them were awesome. The room was also very nice and clean; only complaint would be that I wish the toilet paper were softer. Complementary breakfast every morning serving pastries, fruits, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and oatmeal. Overall this place was a 5-Star, the staff had a lot to do with the rating.

The hotel was under construction during our overnight stay in September. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Made every effort to mitigate the impact of the construction. The hotel is old and will benefit from upgrades, but it was clean and well maintained. Perfectly situated for exploration of the town. Be sure to book reservations for nearby restaurant Sweet Basil. Amazing food!

Beautiful hotel, reminds one of European hotels. This one is older but everything was clean and well kept. The one complaint I had were the beds. Mattress although memory foam was ver hard and I found uncomfortable to sleep.

This is an excellent location for 4th of July, Take note though that your car will be blocked in the garage due to the parade until mid afternoon. We stayed in the room with the loft beds for the kids. The concept is fantastic, but everytime someone moves on the lofts, it creaks and makes noise. That was kind of annoying. The management went out of their way to help us when we could not get our car out and gave my kid a ride. Breakfast was good. Hallways could use updating. Staff was friendly. Room was not ready until 6pm.

My now husband and I stayed here to get married. It was a beautiful stay. Our room was right by the river and waking up to the sound of the water was incredible. The bed was very comfy, and the overall room space, and balcony was enjoyable. Now the complaints: We did tell the receptionist when we arrived we were getting married, she said she would put notes on our account. It would’ve been nice to get a small accommodation for the event, but we didn’t expect it. Also, I tried calling the front desk 3 times from our room and no one answered or called back. The bathroom honestly was the worst part of the experience. They have a sliding barn door… That doesn’t close all the way. My now husband and I have been together for a long time, but that’s a level of intimacy we weren’t ready for. Overall, the stay was nice.

Lovely well appointed boutique Hotel with excellent service for the whole family. Our stay during Oktoberfest, which would strain the service at any establishment, was wonderful and exceeded hospitality expectations. Upon arrival we were met outside of the event space to retrieve our bags and escort us through the crowds to check in. The Sitzmark was even holding a private event during this time and still provided us with individual attention. The room was lovely and clean and both the bed and sofa bed were extremely comfortable. We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Very nice staff down to the housekeepers. The hotel will be undergoing a renovation can’t wait to come back and see the improvements. The rooms are very spacious and I love how they have places to put away luggage considering how much we bring when coming for skiing

Sitzmark is located in the heart of vail village and walkable to many restaurants and shopping and the in town buses are great that take you to and from Lionshead village daily every 10 or 15 minutes. We enjoyed our stay and the staff and the owner Steve were awesome and the 3 p cookies apres were awesome. We will be back.

This is an excellent location for 4th of July, Take note though that your car will be blocked in the garage due to the parade until mid afternoon. We stayed in the room with the loft beds for the kids. The concept is fantastic, but everytime someone moves on the lofts, it creaks and makes noise. That was kind of annoying. The management went out of their way to help us when we could not get our car out and gave my kid a ride. Breakfast was good. Hallways could use updating. Staff was friendly. Room was not ready until 6pm.

Luis at the Front Desk was OUTSTANDING. The whole team is excellent and were helpful and insightful at every moment. The rooftop pool is fantastic. The overall location is unbeatable. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh and had a great selection. Can't wait to return!

Terrible!!! We when for Thanksgiving week, we always stay vail Village, specially at Tivoli. But since the Gondola that's open was Lionshead we change to this hotel. BIG mistake. The first three days their were doing like construction work at the room on top and belive it or not it was 930pm and the noice kept going, I call front Desk to tell it was to much and the lady said it would take care of it, an hour pass by and it keep going, soo my husbando whent down And she said That she hasn't been able to reach the manager to see what she can do!! For real!!!! OMG , and believe or Not im still waiting for his excuse....... Vail has a lots of Hotel, I Recommend choose another one !!!!

We have to start off with how friendly and welcoming the staff were, every single of them were awesome. The room was also very nice and clean; only complaint would be that I wish the toilet paper were softer. Complementary breakfast every morning serving pastries, fruits, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and oatmeal. Overall this place was a 5-Star, the staff had a lot to do with the rating.

The Sitzmark was the perfect place to stay in Vail, and I was very impressed with our experience there. They have the friendliest front desk staff who were super helpful and kind. Parking was super convenient right below the hotel. We loved the location in Vail Village and easy walkability to everywhere we wanted to go. Delicious fresh baked cookies every afternoon, and a beautiful European style breakfast that was complimentary each morning. The rooms were clean and modern, and the patio views of the of the creek were beautiful. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We will definitely be returning to stay here in the future!

Sitzmark is located in the heart of vail village and walkable to many restaurants and shopping and the in town buses are great that take you to and from Lionshead village daily every 10 or 15 minutes. We enjoyed our stay and the staff and the owner Steve were awesome and the 3 p cookies apres were awesome. We will be back.

I celebrated my birthday in Vail this weekend and I’m so glad I chose this hotel. It was the perfect fit. The staff was amazing ( Thank you Luis !) our room was amazing, the continental breakfast and hot cocoa/hot cider , and the afternoon cookies were the perfect touch. Location was also ideal - easy access to just about everything in the village. The bed was so comfortable! The room design was well executed and had all the little details one could need while away and feel like home. I will definitely be return and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Vail.

This hotel was ideally located and the staff is absolutely wonderful! We wanted an earlier check in and they were very accommodating. The hotel is updated and very nice with modern amenities. The continental breakfast had a large variety of foods and beverages. Everything is a short walking distance for Vail Village. Paloma was so gracious and kind on our check in. On our check out a very thoughtful gentleman helped me scrape the ice off of my car windows. It was these special touches that made our stay extra special!

Good location - was under construction so some compromise. Breakfast was not good and staff member was watching utube on his phone while food ran out. Had fun and great location but some tweaks needed to get to the next level.

Lovely hotel. Very clean and modernized. The rooms were nice. About the same as what you’d expect at an average Hilton or Marriott. Location was great. Breakfast was awesome and was a great perk of staying there. Staff was wonderful. Parking is $45/night or $60/night (valet) - just brace yourself for that added expense. If there’s anything that would keep me from coming back it was the beds. I’m a fan of a firm mattress and these beds were as soft as water beds. My wife and I actually laughed at how much we sunk into them. If you are like me and struggle to sleep on soft beds, this hotel may be tough on your sleep!
