Great location in Marietta , and just a few miles down the road from the hustle and bustle of all the shops, restaurants and crowds. The hospitality and warmth of this bed and breakfast was stellar! Lots of places offer a good bed, sink and bathtub, but few places in my life have offered the feeling of being “like family” that B. F. Hiestand bed-and-breakfast offered. The home is absolutely gorgeous. I was taken back by the beautiful architecture, crown molding and furnishings. The Hiestand ancestors would be very pleased with the maintenance of their treasured home. This was our first visit to a bed and breakfast, but most definitely will not be our last! Don’t go to this place if you’re looking for something highbrow, go to this place if you want to feel like you came to a place that feels a bit like “home!” We plan on going back soon!!!!!

Lovely historic home. Our room was very comfortable..it was warm today so really appreciated the room a/c. Had a very nice walk to a local pub.. You can’t go wrong.

We had a good time staying at this B&B. Pam and Dallas were amazing hosts who made us feel right at home, and there were several highlights during our visit. However, there were also some areas that need improvement. Pros: Exceptional Hospitality: Pam and Dallas were warm, welcoming, and made us feel like part of the family. Delicious Breakfast: Mrs. Pam is an excellent cook! Breakfasts were creative, different each day, and absolutely delicious. Comfortable Bed: The bed in our room was very comfortable. Clean Room: The sunroom/porch room we stayed in was generally clean. Cons: Uncomfortable Pillows: While the bed was nice, the pillows were not comfortable. Dirty Rug: The rug in the house and room was noticeably dirty. Misleading Porch Photos: The porch did not match the photos advertised. The floor was unfinished, and the overall condition was disappointing. Cleanliness Issues with Pets: The front porch, stairs, and rugs had noticeable dog hair. It was clear that their dog sheds quite a bit, and the hair was not well-managed. General Cleanliness: Overall, the house needs a deeper and more thorough cleaning to meet the expectations set by the listing. Pam and Dallas were incredibly welcoming and kind. Check-in with Pam was easy as can be and a couple of accommodation requests that we had (a bucket of ise for champagne, and a couple decks of cards) were promptly delivered tom our room by Dallas. Our room was neat, warm, and cozy. Exactly what we needed on a late January trip. Pam's breakfast was incredible, featuring eggs Florentine, sausage, mixed berried and yogurt, and the most amazing orange muffins. We will definitively be coming back to check out trhe warmer months as well.

Amazing. Pam and Dallas were awesome hosts. Their Bead and Breakfast was like a movie. They made you feel at home and like being with family. Very pet friendly oriented. Pam made an amazing breakfast that would rival some of the trendy breakfast restaurants. Will recommend them to others

Great location in Marietta , and just a few miles down the road from the hustle and bustle of all the shops, restaurants and crowds. The hospitality and warmth of this bed and breakfast was stellar! Lots of places offer a good bed, sink and bathtub, but few places in my life have offered the feeling of being “like family” that B. F. Hiestand bed-and-breakfast offered. The home is absolutely gorgeous. I was taken back by the beautiful architecture, crown molding and furnishings. The Hiestand ancestors would be very pleased with the maintenance of their treasured home. This was our first visit to a bed and breakfast, but most definitely will not be our last! Don’t go to this place if you’re looking for something highbrow, go to this place if you want to feel like you came to a place that feels a bit like “home!” We plan on going back soon!!!!!

Lovely historic home. Our room was very comfortable..it was warm today so really appreciated the room a/c. Had a very nice walk to a local pub.. You can’t go wrong.

The location of the cottage for both us and the dog was perfect. the main house was impressive. my husband loved the breakfast, this was my pick for him. I'm not big on breakfast. Pam was very accommodating to me and my tastes.Our three-night stay was great.

Pam and Dallas were incredibly welcoming and kind. Check-in with Pam was easy as can be and a couple of accommodation requests that we had (a bucket of ise for champagne, and a couple decks of cards) were promptly delivered tom our room by Dallas. Our room was neat, warm, and cozy. Exactly what we needed on a late January trip. Pam's breakfast was incredible, featuring eggs Florentine, sausage, mixed berried and yogurt, and the most amazing orange muffins. We will definitively be coming back to check out trhe warmer months as well.

The owners, Pam and Dallas, are wonderful and welcoming, the breakfasts cannot be beat. Pam has a local source for delicious gluten free baked goods - which is no small feat when it come to breakfast fare. For my socially anxious fellow travelers who are looking for a low pressure B&B experience - this one is a winner! Would highly recommend!

We had a good time staying at this B&B. Pam and Dallas were amazing hosts who made us feel right at home, and there were several highlights during our visit. However, there were also some areas that need improvement. Pros: Exceptional Hospitality: Pam and Dallas were warm, welcoming, and made us feel like part of the family. Delicious Breakfast: Mrs. Pam is an excellent cook! Breakfasts were creative, different each day, and absolutely delicious. Comfortable Bed: The bed in our room was very comfortable. Clean Room: The sunroom/porch room we stayed in was generally clean. Cons: Uncomfortable Pillows: While the bed was nice, the pillows were not comfortable. Dirty Rug: The rug in the house and room was noticeably dirty. Misleading Porch Photos: The porch did not match the photos advertised. The floor was unfinished, and the overall condition was disappointing. Cleanliness Issues with Pets: The front porch, stairs, and rugs had noticeable dog hair. It was clear that their dog sheds quite a bit, and the hair was not well-managed. General Cleanliness: Overall, the house needs a deeper and more thorough cleaning to meet the expectations set by the listing. This B&B has great potential, thanks to the hospitality and cooking, but it definitely needs better attention to cleanliness and more accurate presentation in its listings. If you’re a dog lover and don’t mind the hair, then this place is for you. With a little more upkeep, it could be a truly charming staying.

Pam’s breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had, and we have stayed in many B&B’s over 48 years. She was very kind and generous in sharing helpful information about places to go, things to do, and restaurants to eat in. Accommodations were clean and comfortable.

It was a great inn to spend our 50th anniversary! Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful giving us tips on places to visit and explore. The breakfasts were amazing. We came as guests and left as friends!

The B&B was adorable, with very warm and welcoming hosts. I arrived in the evening and was immediately made to feel at home, with Pam, Dallas and a very waggy Mac there to greet me. They recommended places to eat, an what to do while I was there. I stayed in the Sun Room, which was very homely. The room is next to a main road, so it is a little noisy at times, but they have a white noise machine and ear plugs for you use, neither of which I needed to use. Breakfast was wonderful, with a different plate being served on each of the 2 days I was there, and my choice of tea, coffee of juice. Overall, I loved my stay and have already recommended to friends and colleagues who will be needing to visit in the coming months. Thank you Pam, Dallas and Mac!

Our stay was amazing! We booked the Vanderslice Suite which was much bigger than expected. Our stay was very relaxed and quiet. We met Pam, Dallas, and Mac upon arrival and knew immediately we were at the right place! Great people and great conversation! An ice storm ruined our plans for the evening, so we spent most of our night in the suite. Breakfast was served at 9am and we ate with one other couple and also very nice to talk with. We loved our brief stay and will be returning in nicer weather!
